The number of people in Taiwan holding both a mortgage and a personal line of credit–and the amount of debt they hold–have reached all-time highs.

00:05368,000 people now have an average mortgage of nearly US$200,000, a 71% increase since 2014.
00:14Their average line of credit amounts to just over US$31,000, that's a 90% increase since 2014.
