00:19Leaked foreign ministry documents supposedly show Alexander Yu spent almost a quarter of
00:25a million U.S. dollars on renovations, furniture, and personal items. Yu rejects the claims.
00:32Yu also says he and his wife would sometimes buy food and drinks for their staff out of
00:37their own pocket and never have been rude to them. Yu has been in his position for about
00:42six months after taking over from Vice President Bi Kim Xiao. The foreign ministry says it
00:48has found no problems with Yu's expenditure.
