00:00It was the First Family that visited the Philippine athletes
00:06of the Paralympic Games that took place in Paris 2024.
00:10President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. and First Lady Liza Marcos
00:16were also there to talk to the athletes.
00:17The last to shake hands was Double Gold Medalist Carlos Yulo
00:22who took a picture with the First Family.
00:25After this, they went straight to the program.
00:30Carlos Yulo was the first to speak
00:32where he thanked the people who helped him achieve his goal.
00:38President Ferdinand R. Marcos Jr. thanked the athletes
00:41because they beautified the name of the Filipinos and of the Philippines.
00:47The President also emphasized that the performance of the athletes
00:50is the result of their sacrifices
00:53and of their coaches, trainers, group members, and families.
