हरिद्वार: स्वास्थ्य विभाग के इंस्पेक्टर चंद्र मोहन कंसवाल ने कहा कि डेंगू के बढ़ते खतरे को देखते हुए स्वास्थ्य विभाग पूरी तरह से सतर्क हो गया है। जिले भर में 40 वॉलिंटियर्स को तैनात किया गया है, जो घर-घर जाकर लोगों को डेंगू से बचाव के उपाय बता रहे हैं और डेंगू के लार्वा को नष्ट कर रहे हैं। इनमें से 20 वॉलिंटियर्स रुड़की क्षेत्र में और 20 हरिद्वार नगर निगम क्षेत्र में कार्यरत हैं। स्वास्थ्य विभाग के अनुसार, बीते वर्ष जिले में 690 एलाइजा पॉजिटिव मामले सामने आए थे, जिसके बाद इस साल विभाग ने विशेष सतर्कता बरतने का निर्णय लिया है। स्वास्थ्य विभाग के वॉलिंटियर्स प्रतिदिन लगभग 100 घरों में जाकर डेंगू के लार्वा की जांच कर रहे हैं और उसे नष्ट कर रहे हैं। स्वास्थ्य विभाग के इंस्पेक्टर चंद्र मोहन कंसवाल ने बताया कि वॉलिंटियर्स द्वारा लोगों को जागरूक किया जा रहा है और डेंगू से बचाव के लिए आवश्यक उपाय बताए जा रहे हैं। इस अभियान का उद्देश्य जिले में डेंगू के मामलों को नियंत्रित करना और लोगों को सुरक्षित रखना है।
