​ @Gocciedimemoria Giancarlo Golzi (Sanremo, 10 febbraio 1952 – Bordighera, 12 agosto 2015) è stato un batterista, musicista e paroliere italiano, tra i membri fondatori del gruppo dei Matia Bazar e del Museo Rosenbach.Tra i primi componenti del Museo Rosenbach, gruppo musicale dal genere rock progressivo degli anni Settanta, incide con loro l'album Zarathustra e rimane nel gruppo fino al suo scioglimento nel 1973. Nel corso del 1992 vengono pubblicati Rarities, Live '72 e Rare and Unreleased. Il gruppo si riunisce nel 2000 con l'incisione dell'album Exit.Nel 1975, due anni dopo lo scioglimento del Museo Rosenbach, entra a far parte di una nuova banda genovese con Piero Cassano, Carlo Marrale, Aldo Stellita e Antonella Ruggiero, Matia, che così diventano i Matia Bazar.Nell'estate del 2015 i Matia Bazar organizzano un tour per festeggiare i 40 anni di carriera. L'8 agosto 2015 suonano all'Outlet Village Cilento a Eboli ed è questo l'ultimo concerto di Golzi che viene stroncato da un infarto nella sua casa di Bordighera nella notte tra il 12 e il 13 agosto 2015, all'età di 63 anni.

Giancarlo Golzi (Sanremo, 10 February 1952 – Bordighera, 12 August 2015) was an Italian drummer, musician and lyricist, among the founding members of the groups Matia Bazar and Museo Rosenbach. Among the first members of Museo Rosenbach, a progressive rock group from the 1970s, he recorded the album Zarathustra with them and remained in the group until its dissolution in 1973. During 1992, Rarities, Live '72 and Rare and Unreleased were published. The group reunited in 2000 with the recording of the album Exit. In 1975, two years after the dissolution of the Rosenbach Museum, he joined a new Genoese band with Piero Cassano, Carlo Marrale, Aldo Stellita and Antonella Ruggiero, Matia, who thus became Matia Bazar. In the summer of 2015, Matia Bazar organized a tour to celebrate 40 years of career. On August 8, 2015, they played at the Outlet Village Cilento in Eboli and this was Golzi's last concert, as he was struck down by a heart attack in his home in Bordighera on the night between August 12 and 13, 2015, at the age of 63.
