A woman is working two jobs so she can retire at 30 - working 70 hours a week and earning $120k a year.

Jane Tsang, 25, has worked in marketing since 2019 but for two years has been working a second job as a customer service rep.

Jane hopes to retire in five years - or get work in areas she is passionate about like arts or content creation without worrying about her salary.

Currently, Jane has $200 to $300k in savings.

Her goal is to save $700k to $1m to "live comfortably" but still work, or $2m to fully retire in her 30's.

She was inspired by the FIRE movement - financially independent, retire early - where young people quit the rat race and become financially free.

Jane earns $80k a year from her marketing job and $40k from her customer service rep.

Jane, from Toronto, Canada, said: "I am disliking the corporate lifestyle and I am trying to get away from that.

"I don't like that I am bound to something. The schedule feels like you have your weekend and then four hours after you finish to unwind.

"It feels like you're confided to a very specific schedule so you don't get much time to yourself.

"I want to work as much as I can in my early 20s so I can get out of it."

Jane got her first job in marketing in 2019 and has been working in the industry ever since.

She said she has always had side jobs as well as her full time job to earn extra income.

She said: "Over past two years is when I really ramped up my work hours.

"In Canada, a full time job is 30 hours per week and I am working around 70 hours a week.

"I am mainly doing it so I can save up quicker and reach my financial goals.

"I want to own my own home and I want to retire in my early 30s."

As well as working two jobs, Jane said she has got "frugal" with her budget.

She goes out less with friends, cooks meals at home and never buys new clothes and make up.

She said: Honestly, I think what a lot of people want to do it start a family or travel.

"I would like per pursue my hobbies and passion like arts or content creation.

"I would also love to spend more time with my family.

"I would like to save up $700k to $1m to be able to life comfortably and start getting different income streams.

"If I was to fully retire early I would like to save $1.5m to $2m."

Her working day starts at 9am when she logs on for her marketing job and will finish that at 5pm.

She will then immediately start her customer service job and work until 10pm.

She said: "I feel great right now, usually when I am burnout it is not from the hours I am working or the workload.

"With the two jobs the most difficult is my main job, that is where most of my stress comes from - now how many jobs I am working.

"My first job starts at 9am and finishes at 5pm and then I will start my second job until 10pm.

"I also work weekends at my second job from 9am until around 5pm."
