00:00The Budget Department has already issued guidelines for the first increase in salary for government employees.

00:06The increase in salary will be limited until 2027.

00:10For example, for a Teacher 1 whose salary is Php 27,000 per month,

00:16he will receive a monthly increase of Php 6,000 in four years.

00:23The first increase in salary was effective on January 1, 2024 for national agencies.

00:29That's why it's retroactive.

00:31The increase in salary should be pursued from January.

00:35The local government should issue an ordinance.

00:39Aside from this, Php 7,000 per year of medical allowance

00:43will be given to each government employee as part of their additional benefit.
