00:00The Atlanta Braves are struggling at this moment. They have dropped seven of their last
00:08eight games. They now go to San Francisco to take on the Giants. What a pitching matchup
00:13we have. The National League Cy Young favorite in Chris Sale against the reigning NL Cy Young
00:18winner in Blake Snell. San Francisco, a home underdog. Minus 112 to Atlanta, minus 104
00:26on the other side. That total no longer seven, DRS. It has dropped to just six and a half.
00:32Absolutely. It should be dropping at this point. You take a look at, you know, Chris
00:35Sale right now at the Fan Blue Sportsbook. Who's going to win the Cy Young Award for
00:39the National League? It's Chris Sale right now. Rightfully so. He has been that good.
00:42This is a true pitcher's ballpark. But I want to focus actually on the other side here.
00:46It's Blake Snell. My goodness. You want to talk about shot out of a cannon. His last
00:50one hundred batters, 118 batters that he's faced. How about a strikeout percentage here
00:55of 39 percent? That's outrageous. How about taking a look at the ISO power number against
01:00073, weighted on base percentage 157. Looking at that Atlanta Braves lineup outside of Jorge
01:06Soler is the only legitimate bat going up against left handed pitching, which means
01:11the rest of the lineup in a pitcher's ballpark against maybe the most dominant pitcher right
01:16now in baseball. That doesn't hold up. Do I think it goes under six and a half? Yes,
01:20I do. But I'm more likely to say I have the better lineup at the plate and the better
01:23pitcher on the mound. Even though I do think Sale is in line to win a Cy Young tonight,
01:28I think I'm going to take Snell. Plus 100. Sign me up there for Snell and the Giants.
