Do you ever miss me?
Do you think about me as much as I think about you?
I'm not saying I think we should ever try to be in love again but there is something to be said about the kind of love we had.
The love that stemmed from total acceptance of the other. The love that didn't need the shallow promises of romance but had the steady hand of friendship. The love that is encompassed in late night talks and driving hours to nowhere. I miss being able to just check in. I miss being able to be completely honest with someone.
