Coach Brad Arthur reflects on Leeds Rhinos' 30-4 thrashing of Wigan Warriors.

00:00The bit that was really pleasing for me was around that 25-minute mark, whereas the two

00:07games that we've lost, we've probably faltered around that 25-minute mark because I felt

00:11like they started with good intent and good purpose with all our matches. But then when

00:16we just got under a bit of fatigue and pressure, we've fallen in a bit of a hole. And today,

00:24we put ourselves in a situation where we made it tough with some of the errors out of red

00:29zone, but we defended our scrums really good and we had a focus on it. I'm enjoying the

00:35bit around when we focus on something, they're buying in, they're trying their best. We don't

00:39always get it right, but they're having a red-hot crack at it.

00:43You talked about the players that are out not being important, it being the ones that

00:46come in that matter. Presumably, you're pretty happy with the ones that are dead that stepped

00:51up and played different roles.

00:52Yeah, they've done a good job and that's where we need to get to as a club, is that when

00:57guys come in, they know what their job is and the jersey number that they wear is what

01:04their responsibility is and it doesn't matter really who steps into that jersey. So, the

01:09bloke's got opportunity today and I was pleased for Bentley today because his discipline let

01:15him down last week and I really challenged him on that. He was good today for us and

01:19he stayed in control. We had some reasons to play as well today for all his first game

01:27as captain. So, all those moments, all those emotional attachments are important that they

01:35play for each other on days like this. Ben's proper debut, the first time he's taken the

01:41field and he'll remember it forever.

01:44It was nice that you got a chance to give him a few minutes at the end, wasn't it?

01:47Yeah, I was getting a bit nervous about how and when I was going to get him on. I could

01:53imagine how he was feeling, he's got his family here to watch him, so it was really important

01:56that we did get him on the field. That's credit to the players because they allowed me to

02:02do that.
