00:00Behind the scenes drama and bad blood, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds may be at the top of
00:05their game in Hollywood, but we're starting to wonder if they created some enemies along the way.
00:10Lively and Reynolds are clearly having a moment right now. Lively's starring role in the highly
00:14anticipated film adaptation of It Ends With Us, her brand new hair care line, Blake Brown Beauty,
00:20and her iconic September cover of Vogue have clearly put her at the center of the spotlight.
00:25When you couple all of that with her hubby's starring role in the box office hit Deadpool
00:28and Wolverine, the power couple's names are on the tip of everyone's tongues.
00:32Dare we say we're in our Blake Lively-Ryan Reynolds era? And yet,
00:36some people are worried that all of the fan craze is going straight to Lively and Reynolds' heads.
00:40Could it be that their collective egos are getting a little too inflated?
00:44It should be noted that the plot of It Ends With Us involves domestic violence,
00:48which prompted one TikTok user to ask,
00:50Where are we using a movie about domestic violence to promote your hair brand?
00:54So how did Hollywood's golden couple go from being the apple of everyone's eye
00:58to rotten to the core seemingly overnight? Many speculate that there's some drama going down
01:03between some cast members of It Ends With Us and that Lively and Reynolds are ultimately responsible.
01:08Eagle-eyed fans couldn't help but notice that Lively's co-star and the film's director,
01:12Justin Baldoni, was seemingly being iced out at many of the film's press events.
01:16Instead of posing with Baldoni at the premiere events, Lively was snapped standing alongside
01:20her own personal entourage, including Reynolds and his Deadpool and Wolverine co-star Hugh Jackman.
01:25One ex-user noted,
01:27So I've been looking into the It Ends With Us drama and I'm seeing that Justin Baldoni
01:31is the only one using press to discuss the topic of the movie, which is domestic violence,
01:35and Blake Lively's using it to promote her hairline and Deadpool and Wolverine.
01:39To make matters worse, a team of diehard Reddit users pointed out that neither the book's author,
01:44Colleen Hoover, nor Lively follow Baldoni on Instagram. Talk about awkward.
01:49So what really went down behind the scenes of It Ends With Us? According to The Hollywood
01:53Reporter, all of the behind-the-scenes brouhaha stems from creative differences
01:57among the filmmakers regarding competing cuts of the film. Multiple sources told the magazine that
02:03Lively, who co-produced the film, actually called in film editor Shane Reid to help with the editing
02:07process. Reid also edited Deadpool and Wolverine and Taylor Swift's music video for I Bet You Think
02:13About Me, of which Lively served as the director. Still, another source told The Hollywood Reporter
02:17that it's quite common for a movie to turn up with multiple cuts during the post-production process.
02:22The insider was also adamant that the entire cast had all come to an agreement regarding the
02:26final cut. Neither Lively nor Baldoni have issued any comments surrounding the alleged drama.
02:32Lively has been open and forthright about her husband's involvement in her latest film.
02:36In an interview with E! News at a premiere event for It Ends With Us,
02:39Lively confessed that Reynolds actually wrote the film's iconic rooftop scene. She then added,
02:44He works on everything I do. I work on everything he does. So his wins,
02:47his celebrations are mine, and mine are his. I mean, he's all over this film."
02:52Still, we can't help but wonder if director Baldoni was aware of that
02:56going into the making of the film? To be determined, we suppose.
