00:05means I love you. I feel like this is a film that's important to be made because just as
00:11an actor, I'm not often given the opportunity to tell the story of a woman that really experiences
00:19the entire spectrum of female experience, or any human experience, you know? I was telling
00:26them that when you experience pain, or trauma, or darkness, or sadness, that's your character.
00:31Or if you're light, and levity, and love, and joy, and hope, then that's your character.
00:34You don't often see a woman that gets to be so multifaceted because you don't often see
00:39messy women in film. And so to be able to be a woman who's contradicting herself, but
00:44yet it makes complete sense, and seeing the messiness of the human experience, I think
00:49is a beautiful thing to see because it makes people feel seen and not alone. I know that's
00:53how I felt when I read Lily.

01:02You said that Ryan bought you flowers when you first met with Little Notes. Is he still

01:07He does still send me flowers, and it wasn't when we first met, thank goodness. No, we
01:11were friends for many years first. But yeah, he does send me flowers. He's nice. He's great
01:15about that.
01:16And what's the key to marrying your best friend? Being with a best mate?
01:19I just think marry your best friend. I think the key is marry your best friend, because
01:24when there's friendship, there's always love, there's always empathy, there's always curiosity.
01:27You're the first person you want to tell everything to, and I think that's key. He's the person
01:34that I want to share everything with. You know, when you call your best friend to complain
01:38about your partner? He's the best friend that I would call to complain about my partner,
01:41so it sort of streamsline that feedback of like, hey, I wish he didn't do this. He's
01:47that person, so there's no guesswork.
