Ukrainian incursion shows 'no sign of winding down'

00:00On the Ukrainian side, we still, apart from very scarce information that we hear from
00:06the presidency, such as the latest from Volodymyr Zelensky saying that war was pushed into the
00:11aggressor's territory, there's operational silence still because the operation is underway.
00:16So all the information we have, we do have it from social media, from sources that are
00:22not easily verifiable, but on the Russian side.
00:27So at least this gives us an indication that it is indeed still ongoing.
00:30Thousands of Ukrainian soldiers are still fighting, are still trying to advance within
00:37Russian territory.
00:40And indeed, this is very much felt by Russia.
00:43We see the chaos that this has created in border regions, not only in Kursk, but also
00:48in neighboring Belgorod, in neighboring Bryansk region as well.
00:55There have been reports on the Russian side of more soldiers coming into Russian territory
01:01in Kursk region overnight.
01:05So this shows, this incursion shows no sign of winding down with Russian forces, Russian,
01:15with Moscow calling in more Russian forces from reserves to try and counter this Ukrainian
01:22offensive.
01:23It has surprised Moscow.
01:25It has also surprised the international observers, but also this shows that Ukraine still has
01:31the power to launch such maneuvers, which we hadn't seen, the scale of which we hadn't
01:37seen since last year's summer counter-offenses, which hadn't brought the expected results
01:43here on the Ukrainian side.
01:45Well, in the meantime, Russia continues to strike Ukraine and there were fresh missile
01:49strikes in Kramatorsk, where you are.
01:51Could we say that's a part of a larger scale attack by Moscow?
01:56Well, Moscow has been attacking Ukraine and the entirety of the Ukrainian territory since
02:04February 22.
02:06So when Moscow vows to give a strong response to the Kursk Ukrainian offensive, it has in
02:14fact given a tough response against Ukraine since ever since it has waged its full scale
02:20invasion against Ukraine.
02:22But here indeed, you've mentioned Kramatorsk.
02:24It was bombed this morning, a missile fell very near the city's markets.
02:32The city of Kramatorsk is often, is shelled often, but also nearby Liman, where I was
02:40earlier today, has also been shelled and overnight a large scale attack with drones and with
02:45missiles combined also was launched against the entirety of Ukraine, including the capital
02:51Kiev, where two people died and explosions were also reported in Poltava, in Khmelnytskyi.
02:56This just goes on to show that Russia shows also no signs of stopping its war of aggression
03:03against Ukraine.
