00:45As all the football fans out there are well aware, CeeDee Lamb, who was arguably one of
00:50the two or three best receivers, most dangerous receivers in the entire NFL last season.
00:56He has been holding out from camp.
00:59He wants a new lucrative contract, and until he gets it, he says, I'm not showing up.
01:05Well, Jerry Jones out at practice this week when he was asked by reporters whether or
01:11not he feels a sense of urgency to get a deal done with CeeDee Lamb.
01:17Here's what Jerry Jones had to say.
01:18Do you feel a sense of urgency as you begin the preseason to get CeeDee Lamb done?
01:23No.
01:24No?
01:25Why do you say that?
01:26I just, I just, I went to high school or I went to college.
01:33I don't know why I said it, but I'm just saying I don't, I don't know, I don't have a sense
01:39of urgency about getting it done.
01:43So there was, Mojo, no sense of urgency.
01:46I don't know if that's the consensus amongst Cowboys fans, but Jerry Jones is the guy who
01:51runs the show, and that's what he had to say.
01:54The question I think you've got to ask, Mojo, is what does CeeDee Lamb have to say about
01:59what Jerry Jones said?
02:02Well, we know because he went to social media and somebody had tweeted the interview and
02:11CeeDee Lamb had a three letter response, LOL, Mojo.
02:17I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing.
02:19I feel like it's not great.
02:20Well, first of all, if I'm Jerry Jones and I'm a legitimate billionaire, I don't feel
02:25a sense of urgency about anything ever in life.
02:28I am good.
02:29I am not sweating.
02:31Any players contract on this team, any administrator coach, I don't care about a thing in life.

02:39I got the big B baby.
02:41But as it relates to this particular negotiation, I'm not buying it.

02:52Which side is going to cave first?
02:54And now these things used to be done behind closed doors.
02:57Now they're very, very public affairs.
03:00You use social media, you use podcasts and YouTube and interviews and newspapers and

03:13When it comes to contracts, what you're saying is not always what you're meaning.
03:17So this is the message that they're putting out.
03:19Who's going to cave first?
03:20Obviously, there's a lot of implications here.
03:23It is a high dollar contract.
03:24So it's worth playing these games with someone that's one of the most integral parts of your
03:29entire team.
03:30And it's for a fan base that is dying for a Super Bowl win.
03:35They've had the squad to potentially get this thing done.
03:38They've come so close in recent years just to blow it a tad bit early.
03:44So if I'm Jerry Jones, that's what I'm resting on for this.
03:48I don't care how good you are, how many yards.
03:50This team needs to be better and we need wins.
03:52If we don't have it, everybody is expendable here.
03:56And honestly, if I'm CeeDee Lamb, L-O-L period, that's a perfect response.

04:03I'm not burying anybody.
04:04It's me saying I'm not sweating you and I'm playing the same game you are.
