Jessica Noll was taking a stroll in the busy heart of Gatlinburg when a surprise popped up!

A bear family appeared between the tall buildings.

A big mama bear and her little cub were out for a walk too.

Suddenly, the playful cub darted out into the busy street without looking.

Mama Bear's heart must have skipped a beat! She was so scared her baby bear would get hurt by a car.

Without thinking twice, she rushed after her cub to keep them safe. 

Jessica couldn’t believe her eyes!

She watched as the mama bear carefully guided her cub away from the danger.
