Family’s Smoky Mountains hike leads to close encounter with mama bear and cubs
Kristi Berry and her family were hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains when they had an exciting encounter!
A mama bear with three playful cubs emerged from the trees, just a few feet away!
A little surprised, Kristi and her family carefully backed away. The curious cubs even followed them for a bit!
Finally, mama bear settled right in the middle of the path, giving her cubs a feeding right in front of them.
After a while, mama bear finished and led her cubs off the trail, letting Kristi and her family continue their adventure!
