00:00this is a ribbon spread. let's learn. this is your grip and the most important
00:09finger is your index finger that's right across in the middle and it's also on a
00:14beveled edge. what I mean by that is instead of the cards being straight
00:18they're slightly angled to give me more contact surface for the index finger
00:23completely flat on the table the index is straight there's a gap between my
00:28hand and the cards but when I spread and push down as I spread the hand
00:33completely flattens out and now I pick up at the ending of the spread press
00:38down to turn over press down again and scoop the cards. this is a ribbon spread
