00:00So how the heck did David Blaine levitate? In part one, I showed you that he was performing the Baodushi levitation.
00:07But what's going on here?
00:09This and this are not the same thing.
00:13Well, look closely at this clip. He stands at an angle about four feet away from the audience.
00:18But when he actually levitates, he's no longer at an angle and he's a good 20 feet away. In this clip,
00:26notice how the Sun is spilling all over the road.
00:29But when he levitates just four seconds later, the sunlight is gone.
00:33These are called pickup shots and they're filmed at a different time than the rest of the video.
00:38David Blaine performed the Baodushi levitation the entire time.
00:42But later, he and his producers went back to the same location,
00:46rigged up some kind of wire lift, found some extras, and made you believe that this man was flying.
