00:00The number of Filipinos without jobs decreased this June. According to the Philippine Statistics Authority, the unemployment rate
00:08decreased by 3.1 percent or equivalent to 1.62 million Filipinos. That's a big reduction compared to 2.11 million unemployed in May.
00:17This June, there were a lot of jobs in the service sector and agriculture.
00:23The number of jobs in the construction and manufacturing sector also increased to 6.8 million.
00:29The number of unemployed or those who have jobs decreased compared to their income.
00:36According to the National Economic and Development Authority, they will continue their efforts to increase the opportunities for Filipinos.
