00:05The flooding of Habagat or Southwest Monsoon continues in a large part of Luzon plus Western Visayas.

00:12So expect rain, especially here in the western sections.

00:16Meanwhile, based on our latest satellite animation,

00:19we can no longer see any weather disturbance, storm or low-pressure areas inside and around the Philippine Area of Responsibility

00:26even though there are still clouds or cloud clusters that are part of the tropical cyclone

00:35or Severe Tropical Storm with International Name Maria

00:38that is far from our land and is no longer affecting our country.

00:44For today, we still expect cloudy skies and rainy weather here in the western section of Luzon

00:49including Ilocos Region, Zambales and Bataan because of Habagat.

00:54The nature of the rain there is very weak until just right amount of rain

00:58and sometimes it gets stronger in the afternoon and night.

01:01So be careful of possible floods and landslides and always follow our advisories

01:07and worst case, heavy rainfall warnings.

01:09Meanwhile, in the remaining part of Luzon, there are also floods of Southwest Monsoon.

01:14We have heavy rains in Batanes, Mabuyan Islands, here in a large part of Cordillera Region,

01:20especially in Abra and Benguet, almost the whole of Central Luzon,

01:23especially here in the areas of Tarlac, Pampanga, Bulacan, below Metro Manila,

01:28we also expect heavy rains, almost the whole of Calabarzon, especially in Batangas and Cavite

01:34until here in Occidental Mindoro, we expect.

01:37The occasional rains, there are times when it stops, especially in the late morning until noon

01:42but the rains will return in the afternoon until the early morning.

01:47So make sure that you have an umbrella when you go out of your house.

01:51Meanwhile, in the remaining part of Luzon, here in Cagayan Valley,

01:54eastern sides of Bicol Region, Plas Quezon,

01:57expect the part that is cloudy until the sky is cloudy

02:00and there is also a high chance of heavy rains in the afternoon and night.

02:05Our temperature in Metro Manila is from 27 to 32 degrees Celsius

02:09while in Baguio, it is still cold from 18 to 22 degrees Celsius.

02:14For our fellowmen here in Palawan,

02:16mostly cloudy skies throughout the day because it is in the southwest monsoon

02:20and there are occasional light to moderate rains, especially in the afternoon.

02:25While here in Western Visayas, expect the occasional rains

02:29and occasional light to moderate rains within the next 24 hours.

02:33And here in the remaining part, expect the part that is cloudy until the sky is cloudy

02:38that is accompanied by occasional rains and occasional light to moderate rains

02:42that last for 2 to 3 hours.

02:45Our temperature in Metro Cebu may rise to 33 degrees Celsius

02:49and in Palawan, up to 32 degrees.

02:52Meanwhile, for our fellowmen in Mindanao,

02:54this morning, expect the rains here in Zamboanga Peninsula

02:59and here in the provinces of Basilan, Sulu, Tawi-Tawi

03:03until here in the provinces facing the Morogulf

03:06starting here in Milanao del Norte all the way to Mayzanganit Province.

03:10Expect the rains.

03:12Although it will not continue, it will be frequent, especially this morning

03:16and then it will reach again in the afternoon and late evening.

03:19For our fellowmen in the remaining part of Mindanao,

03:22expect the part that is cloudy and mostly sunny, especially in the areas of Davao Region,

03:27Northern Mindanao and Caraga Region.

03:29There is still heat, especially in the areas of Butuan,

03:32Davao City and also here in Maykotabato and Jensan.

03:35Expect the rains that will not last for long.

03:42Meanwhile, for the next 3 days or from tomorrow until early next week,

03:47expect the effects of the Southwest Monsoon or Habaga.

03:50Over the weekend, we also did not miss the chance

03:53that there will be a new low-pressure area here in the North Philippine Sea

03:57that will be triggered by the Southwest Monsoon.

04:00It will still bring rains, especially in the western sections,

04:03including Batanes, Babuyan Islands, Ilocos Region, Bataan, Zambales, Batangas, Cavite, Metro Manila.

04:13The chance of rain is also high, especially tomorrow,

04:15up to Palawan, Occidental Mindoro and Western Visayas.
