00:17it's beautiful scenery it's beautiful so I feel very lucky to be here what an
00:31amazing place that I've read so much about and seen films about no I'm
00:35actually in it okay dude this is super 360 immersive

00:51we're at 5,643 miles look man it's a really beautiful spot to sit and admire
01:02the view and so I guess that's an appropriate memorial place or resting
01:06place for the memories of the people that didn't return from Everest but it
01:11really didn't have the significant impact on me until after the 2015 season
01:19on Everest when someone from my team died and then we built a memorial for
01:23her at that place so now every time I stop there I put some prayer flags on
01:27her memorial and take a few moments to reflect and think and so now the the
01:31area has much more significance to me than it did before most people accepted
01:37what happened at Everest base camp is a natural disaster
01:40look at that couldn't be avoided I believe around 9,000 people died in Nepal
01:45because of that earthquake April 25 2015
01:51actually base camp is our comfort zone it's like a home for us here as
02:13mountaineers and I remember coming into base camp and seeing the Khumbu icefall
02:17for the first time and Nupseh, Pumori, west shoulder of Everest and of course
02:22you see a little bit of the Everest summit when you come into base camp not
02:24much but thinking wow we're here this is it
02:41it's a very uplifting time afternoon time it's cloudy it's snowing and
02:46sometimes it's a little bit more difficult to to exist because it's cold
02:51and body is struggling with the altitude and the cold temperatures but I think in
02:57general ever space camp is an uplifting place we move up to the Khumbu glacier
03:04to do some trainings or hiking so we acclimatize our body I love to use the
03:12ropes and climb, gyumaring, rappelling I love that so it's my playground and
03:17looking forward to go to camp one so I'm pretty pretty excited for that because I
03:23always think I was like I'm not missing anything I'm just happy where I am
03:30it's weird right? I love to climb mountains all over the world and to
03:37share the experience with other people that share similar enthusiasms and
03:41passions and just to experience the world for what it is
04:11and we leave for the ice falls

05:59Lebanese woman and hopefully I will complete the seven summits by climbing
