00:00:00Okay, welcome to the bracket episode 138. Today we're debating a very simple, easy topic,
00:00:05one that we're talking about a little bit after the Vince Vaughn appearance on Hot Ones,
00:00:08talking about R-rated comedies. Today we're going to be doing a bracket of the best comedies of the
00:00:1321st century. We're not limiting it to R-rated. We're going to be doing all of them, but a lot
00:00:17of them, a decent chunk of them are R-rated, a few of them at the very least. Chicago's doing
00:00:22the Olympics thing today, so we have a all New York crew. We've got Rico Bosco, Fights, Tommy,
00:00:27Glennie, Robbie Fox, and also we will have Marty, who will be here soon. Before we get to all that,
00:00:31let's talk about game time. Put it back in the same place, Rico. What'd you drop?
00:00:36Phone just keeps sliding off this fucking chair. Jesus Christ. Let's talk about game time. Did
00:00:43you know that you can get tickets to Stix, Foreigners with Stix, at August 16th, $39,
00:00:50in Orange Beach, Alabama. Oh my God, I'm going to be there that weekend. In Orange Beach? Yeah.
00:00:55Get out of here. That could have been possible. You've been on like non-stop out of the office
00:00:59on these tours, but that recommendation specifically from Stanko, who's in our
00:01:03control booth today. I said, name the most random band you could possibly think of, and he said,
00:01:08how about Stix? And I couldn't remember the songs, but I didn't know. Renegade. Stix is one of the
00:01:13greatest American rock and roll bands, but they only got a bad rap because their critics are
00:01:17cynical assholes. That's what Frankenstein says in Big Daddy. I'm going to admit something. I had
00:01:24a feeling that every week when you list an absurdly random event, it was like you doing
00:01:29that. But in the off chance, it was like part of the game time read. I never wanted to call it out.
00:01:33I'm glad to know now. Also, for the record, that event, Foreigners, low key, one of the best
00:01:37American bands ever. Foreigner has bangers on top of bangers. That's what I was going to say. When
00:01:40I think Foreigner, I think Lenny Ball. I love Foreigner. Head Games, Hot Blooded, Dirty White
00:01:45Boy. Box Hero. I Want to Know What Love Is, Jukebox Hero. There was something there.
00:01:51But Stix, I mean, I didn't know they did Mr. Roboto and Renegade and Come Sail Away. That's
00:01:58like three random songs. Really good. Come Sail Away is an all time, the beginning of the first
00:02:02episode of Freaks and Geeks. Yeah, the dance. And he's like, he hears the slow song come on. So he's
00:02:06like, all right, this is my opportunity to ask the girl to dance with me. Yeah. Kicks into the
00:02:10fast part. He's like, fuck. And then that kid ended up writing Game Night, which might have
00:02:14been nice. Spider-Man Homecoming. Yeah, which might end up being on here. Maybe, maybe not.
00:02:19But again, shout out to Game Time. Did you know that you can get tickets to whatever you want?
00:02:23And in this case, $400 for Stix worth $39. That's right. Thanks to Game Time, the official

00:03:06Download the Game Time app today. Last minute tickets, lowest prices guaranteed. Again,
00:03:10we're doing what is the best comedy from the 21st century. This was, I think, the hardest one I've
00:03:16ever had to see. Usually, it's a little bit easy. Like, oh, I can be a little bit cheap here or
00:03:18throw one here. It doesn't really matter. It was legitimately very hard. It was a very difficult
00:03:22one to put together. I hope we've all seen. Yeah, that's where it's going to get dicey.
00:03:28There's going to be, no doubt, there's going to be somewhere, and this is in every episode
00:03:31of The Bracket, there's going to be something you haven't heard of, haven't watched, whatever,
00:03:33but I would guarantee that you've heard at the very least of all of these or seen maybe bits of
00:03:39it. Starting out with the number five seat versus the 12th seat, the five one was a very difficult
00:03:42one to figure out how to see. Forgetting Sarah Marshall, a very difficult one to figure out
00:03:46where to put because it's, we talked about this a little bit, Rob Fox, it's like the best,
00:03:51it's the funniest romantic movie, but also the most romantic funny movie. It's very difficult
00:03:57to figure out where to put it, and that's going up against number 12 seat, probably the newest one on
00:04:01this list, not to tip too much, 21 Jump Street. 21 Jump Street, super fucking funny. Such a good
00:04:06movie. Gordon Miller, really, really damn funny movie. The lines that we stick out is the one
00:04:12where it's first period, you would already beat up a gay kid or whatever. I've never seen either
00:04:16one. You've never seen Forgetting Sarah Marshall or 21 Jump Street? What are you doing on this
00:04:20bracket, dude? I think he's pulling a Rico. He's pulling a Rico. I wanted to see how many I could
00:04:26get. You guys fucking shut me down. I was going to go through all 30 of them. I mean, I saw the
00:04:32point as I started getting worked up. I remembered your point at me, and I was like, oh, fuck, he's
00:04:36doing it. Yeah, sorry. You remind me to never bring out a bank robbery. Rico, let's start out
00:04:41with you. Forgetting Sarah Marshall or 21 Jump Street. What do you think? I think it's Forgetting
00:04:44Sarah Marshall. The way this movie was described to me back when trailers matter, you would go
00:04:50into the movies all the time. My buddy, I was like, yeah, I wanted to see that movie. It looks
00:04:53pretty good. He goes, there's a guy who's not even in the trailer that steals the movie, and it's
00:04:58Russell Brand. So Russell Brand, absolutely. I don't think Russell Brand was in the trailer.
00:05:02That's crazy. Yeah. I'll fact check it. Maybe we can pull it up. The way he described it,
00:05:08there's a guy who's not main billing, and it's Russell Brand, and he absolutely steals it. It's
00:05:13fucking hilarious. I've seen 21 Jump Street. I thought it was good. Forgetting Sarah Marshall is
00:05:18a top, top tier movie. It's Forgetting Sarah Marshall for me. Easy. One for Forgetting Sarah
00:05:23Marshall. Yeah, it's Forgetting Sarah Marshall. No brainer. I like 21 Jump Street. Peter, you suck.
00:05:32It is. It's classic. I'm going to judge this whole thing based on whether or not the movie
00:05:36shows cock. So unfortunately, for 21 Jump Street, I don't believe there's full frontal
00:05:42male in that, I wish, Channing. I believe a dick gets shot in 21 Jump Street. I think that might
00:05:47be 22. Oh, you're right. 22, though, I think. I think, what's his name? It might be 22. He's
00:05:52the marine actor. I think he gets shot in the dick. Rob Riggle. At the end of one,
00:05:55gets shot in the dick. Oh, is it one? Dep reveals? Yeah. No, no, no. At the end.
00:06:00After that. On the street, yeah. Yeah, but you don't see. You see Rob Riggle's hog,
00:06:05it's a different story. But also, I was thinking that maybe the person who steals the movie in
00:06:10Forgetting Sarah Marshall and is not in the trailer is the fat Hawaiian dude. Yes. Oh,
00:06:16I thought you were going to say Paul. All right. I thought you were going to say Paul. He literally
00:06:19just passed away last month. No. He was in the first fight in UFC history as well. Really?
00:06:24Wait, isn't the guy with the foot stuck in it? The teeth stuck in his foot or something?
00:06:29His teeth got stuck in the other guy's foot. Oh, gross. When him and Siegel are walking away
00:06:33carrying the pig and Siegel's like, really? Because you look like a giant baby. No, I don't.
00:06:39Fucking kills me every time. Two for Forgetting Sarah Marshall, Tommy. I'm going to go 21 Jump
00:06:43Street here. I love both, but I think I laughed more probably at 21 Jump Street. I think I like
00:06:51the mystery aspect of it to, you know, solving a crime. I think Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill is
00:06:57just such a perfect comedic duo like Hawkeye and Dorky Guy like that. It's just fun. I think
00:07:05there's more memorable. I don't know. I'm picking it. I'm picking 21 Jump Street. That's all I got.
00:07:10It does have the 21 Jump Street. It doesn't have full frontal, but it does have the back story.
00:07:17A Franco grape. The, man, you know what they do to guys like me and Chan? It rhymes with grape.
00:07:23Yeah, the emails from the Sony League. Yeah, yeah, yeah, believable with 21 Jump Street.
00:07:30Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill just being such bros. I think I think Channing Tatum
00:07:34sent an entire an email to the entire Sony staff and the whole, you know, it was just caps lock.
00:07:39Suck my dick. They're exactly what you think. So one for 21 Jump Street, Glennie.
00:07:48So I do think I, I really feel like people are going to say the opposite of what I'm
00:07:51going to say with Forgetting Sarah Marshall. What we were talking about earlier. I feel like
00:07:54better movie and funnier movie may get caught up here. I personally enjoy 21 Jump Street a
00:07:59thousand times more than Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Really? Just a movie in general.
00:08:03But I do think I'm not really a big Forgetting Sarah Marshall guy either, but I feel like
00:08:07everyone in general will say Forgetting Sarah Marshall is a better movie, but I'm going to
00:08:10go with 21 Jump Street. I love 21 Jump Street. That's a movie. I'm like kind of said that all
00:08:13those Sony Leagues happened. If they made, if they were still making 21 Jump Streets,
00:08:16I would watch every single one. Like at the end of 22 Jump Street when they make all those fake
00:08:20ones. I would watch every single one. They said they were going to do a crossover with Men in
00:08:23Black. They're just amazing. I will be there no matter what. They're amazing action comedies.
00:08:28They're fantastic. It was just like the emails got, it was, I don't think anything. I don't
00:08:34think that's why they said like, that's what I didn't want to do. I thought that was with
00:08:37the interview. It was. Sony got hacked by North Korea and they released like all their shit.
00:08:41Yeah. I didn't think anything. I mean, I could be wrong. I don't know. I didn't know that that
00:08:46halted production. Cause I thought the emails for this, you know, there were other things that
00:08:51were unveiling some bad things, I think, but this was just one that like, it was just like a funny,
00:08:55like I think Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum had made a bet that it would make a hundred million
00:08:59or whatever it made. And when it finally crossed that threshold, they sent an email to everyone
00:09:03that said suck my dick. Also, I forget Ice Cube in 21 Jump Street is fantastic. Ice Cube is
00:09:10fucking hilarious. Go trade the dealer, find the supplier. The twist that it's his daughter.
00:09:15That's 22. But that's, that's the funniest part. That's 22. Well, that's also another fuck the
00:09:20captain's daughter behind the scenes for that one was that when Channing Tatum read the script and
00:09:25they got on set, he's like, why is there only one camera in here? And they're like, well, it's just
00:09:29like one shot. And he's like, no, if I learned this news, my friend was fucking the captain's
00:09:35daughter. I'd go nuts. He's like, we need cameras everywhere. I'm running around the whole office.
00:09:40That is such a fucking funny scene. And Ice Cube was so funny in 22 Jump Street.
00:09:45That's one of the funniest scenes in either movie. I think it's, I think it's the funniest
00:09:48scene in both in both. I was crying. I remember crying, laughing in the theater at that.
00:09:51Yeah. Um, as far as 21 versus forgetting Sarah Marshall, I do think I'm going to go forgetting
00:09:56Sarah Marshall, which it pains me to vote against 21 Jump Street this early, but like we haven't
00:10:01even mentioned Paul Rudd and forgetting. You talk like you're from London. So fucking funny.
00:10:08It's going to be the best bracket ever. Just saying funny lines.
00:10:10I know.
00:10:11So we used to do before the internet came out, everyone would sit in a room and we'd just
00:10:13fucking say lines to each other. You were the most popular kid in school. The more lines you
00:10:16could recite faster. People never grew out of it. That's the only way they communicate.
00:10:22Dracula musical too.
00:10:24Unbelievable.
00:10:24Paul Rudd behind the scenes. I'm pretty sure I saw that like he was like a last minute ad
00:10:28and they shot it all in one day and his character didn't really have a script. They were just kind
00:10:32of like, do, do what you want to do. Paul Rudd.
00:10:33Really? That's cool.
00:10:34The one of this one, I'm not positive.
00:10:36That's true.
00:10:36The, uh, yeah, I stopped wearing a watch when I moved out here. He's like, that's so cool.
00:10:41Yeah. My time's on my phone.
00:10:44Who's the funniest, who's the funniest person in that movie?
00:10:48Um, Jonah Hill's also really funny. You're forgetting.
00:10:50Pound for pound is, is different. You're right. It's, it's different.
00:10:53I don't know. I mean, it's, uh, what's his name? The big guy from, from, uh, sitcom.
00:10:58How I met your mother, Jason, Jason Siegel and, and, uh, Russell Brand go head to head. But I
00:11:05think it's for like, for how much he's in the movie, Russell Brand, like, I think my money is,
00:11:09I think I'm not a huge Russell Brand guy to be honest.
00:11:12He, well, that movie launched him into being overexposed.
00:11:14Like he come less as time has worn off when they came out. I didn't know anything about it.
00:11:18He plays like 12 minutes and scores like 80 points.
00:11:22He was in that, uh, he did another movie with Jonah Hill that was in the same universe, right?
00:11:25It was him to the Greek and to the Greek, right? Oh, good.
00:11:28Which we had, was it? Oh, did he, but he did. He was in there.
00:11:30That wasn't that good.
00:11:31Diddy is for all the bad things he's done recently. He is so fucking funny in that movie.
00:11:36Also no Diddy. He's very funny and it's always sunny. He has a very funny.
00:11:39Yeah. I was gonna bring that doctor. If you have a doctor, what's his name?
00:11:42The wheat guy. Yeah. Yeah.
00:11:43Coming home's a great song.
00:11:45Anywhere accolades we want to give Diddy while we're here, we can throw them out.
00:11:48Uh, so we're forgetting Sarah Marshall is going to move on. I would have voted
00:11:51Sarah Marshall too in place of Marty. Uh, so next up we have a four seat versus the 13 seat.
00:11:56This is a tough one. It's four seat is stepbrothers bars. It was another difficult
00:12:02one. Like where do you put this in the Pantheon? But everyone's seen it. Everyone knows the quotes
00:12:06and that's going to be a summer 13 seat. Definitely not. Doesn't have the same
00:12:09run as stepbrothers, but role models. Another Paul Rudd movie on not as popular,
00:12:15I would say as stepbrothers, but a movie where it became such an, Oh my God,
00:12:19you got to watch this underrated comedy movie that it became almost over.
00:12:22Yeah. Like it's so fucking funny that you have to throw it.
00:12:25That was like the last thing Sean William Scott did, right?
00:12:27Basically, like more or less. Yeah.
00:12:29Goon after that is very good. It's big, but funny. Yeah. American wedding.
00:12:33No, we didn't see that one. That's not on the bracket. I can put up.
00:12:37Oh no. American reunion. Oh yeah. He did American reunion after that. American
00:12:40wedding had already come out. Yeah. He was definitely in something recently.
00:12:44He was in. It's always sunny and very funny, but that was also, I think before this,
00:12:46what happened? Did he just get blacklisted? They just realized he's like, stop being like,
00:12:50they stopped casting and stuff. I guess. I don't know. Stop making his genre movie.
00:12:53So true. Right. He was very good in both good movies. I think yourself, but goon original.
00:12:58Original is really, yeah. The second one's watchable, but yeah.
00:13:00That's like my favorite, I would say. What's his name? Performance. Uh,
00:13:03who's that? Who's the other guy in goon? The Canadian actor that's friends with
00:13:05like Seth Rogen and all them. Jay Baruchel. Like that. And Blackberry,
00:13:08the only two things I've like really liked him in. Yeah. He's out of my league. Great movie.
00:13:12Yeah. My league was good. I think maybe best rom-com ever. Uh, wow. I love she's out of my
00:13:16league. Wow. Bob Fox or once. I don't remember it. Bob Fox, stepbrothers versus role models.
00:13:21You had my league story. This one is tough because role models for me specifically, the,
00:13:26the fact that kiss is a subplot in the movie. I love so much in the scene where he's like,
00:13:31I didn't know Jews could sing like that. And he's like, they couldn't,
00:13:33that's why they dress like clowns. Oh, fucking funny. Gun is his dick.
00:13:37Ronnie Kisteria thing at the end when they show up as the LARP, it's amazing. But I really think
00:13:41like stepbrothers could like go all the way like stepbrothers. I've rewatched as much as any comedy
00:13:48ever. It's on comedy central all the time. I'll rewatch like the TV version that doesn't
00:13:52even have the curses in it. Cause it's so funny. Yeah. So I have to vote for stepbrothers step
00:13:56brothers. It's what Bob said is true. It's so interesting. I'm more historically comedy wise.
00:14:01Like I'd prefer Sandler and Seth Rogen over will Farrell, but I put in Sandler and Seth Rogen
00:14:07together. I'm just saying, I like separate together. And I'm just saying I like them
00:14:11more. And I'm, and I do feel like what movie did Seth Rogen and Sandler do? No, he said they make
00:14:15movie funny people. I'm simply just saying I like their work more than fucking will Farrell's.
00:14:25Moral of the story. Nah, cause I don't feel like doing the bit all day Bosco
00:14:30Gunny's in a bad mood today. I don't want to upset him today. I got bullied earlier. Yeah,
00:14:35got me some slack. But yeah, no, I will say, I feel like stepbrothers is one of those movies
00:14:40that is so funny. It's almost like you forget how funny it is. So if you've made stepbrothers
00:14:46one, I wouldn't even been a man about it. So I just had to go stepbrothers out of respect to
00:14:49stepbrothers because I do feel like whenever I'm thinking about funniest movies ever,
00:14:53I think in my brain, it's so funny. I don't even think about it being the funniest.
00:14:56Yeah. I'll vote in place of Marty. I do think stepbrothers has its moves way more like the
00:15:02funniest first watch movies I think I've ever seen. And it's so fucking good. And the blooper
00:15:08reel alone for stepbrothers is like, laugh out loud. But Ramos has so many such a deep catalog
00:15:13of random jokes that are hysterical. Jolie Truglio in role models is so fucking funny.
00:15:19Like running every line he has is great. The little kid being like, fuck you, Miss Daisy,
00:15:24as they drive off. When I got out of that movie, I was like, that little kid is going to be the
00:15:30funniest star who's ever lived. I think it was also in Fred Claus. Yeah, he is. I remember being
00:15:37I was like, this is the funniest person alive. And then he kind of disappeared.
00:15:40Yeah. I never really saw him again. I wonder what he's doing now.
00:15:43Honestly, though, he was perfect as a kid. Yeah. I'll stick with stepbrothers just because it's
00:15:49just the impact of the movies is so much heavier. But Ramos is so funny, Tommy.
00:15:53Yeah. Ramos, I remember seeing in theaters, like not really having much expectations and being like,
00:15:58oh, my God, this is so fucking funny. Like that was my introduction to Ken Jeong. I didn't watch
00:16:03Community. So like his character in that is unreal. Like before the hangover,
00:16:08even Christopher Mintz, whatever. Jane Lynch. Jane Lynch is one of the funniest.
00:16:13But I hate Jane Lynch. You hate Jane Lynch? I think I don't like her.
00:16:17She's talking to them and he's like, she's holding a top dog in the thing.
00:16:20There's great Ramos. Ken Marino is really fun. Marino is really good. He's really funny.
00:16:24That being said, it's got to be stepbrother. Like stepbrothers came out when I was 12,
00:16:28which is, I think, the age where stepbrothers is the funniest. I still think it's funny now,
00:16:32but you definitely, when you're in like middle school, high school, it's even more funny.
00:16:36Stepbrothers, 08? Yeah. I was 10. My mom took me to see it. And I specifically remember my mom
00:16:41saying, as we were leaving the theater, she goes, put your head down. Somebody's going to call
00:16:45Dyfus. She thought they were going to call Child Protective Services to take me to see Stepbrothers.
00:16:50Yeah. I mean, there's so many. We're not going to go through all the quotes, but whatever.
00:16:53Good housekeeping. You know what helps with shoulder pain? If you look at my butthole,
00:16:56I mean, there's just so many, so many classics. Catalina Wine Mixer.
00:16:59Stepbrothers. We only play 80s Joel.
00:17:02That random scene is one of the funniest ever.
00:17:05So stupid, but so funny.
00:17:06Play something from The Stranger. The guy's just heckling him. Play something from The Stranger.
00:17:12Why that's the thing, and then he steps out. That guy is underrated hilarious too.
00:17:16Not Bobby Moynihan. What's his name?
00:17:18Ratio Sands.
00:17:19Ratio Sands is underrated hilarious. He's an SNL guy, right?
00:17:21Yeah, he is. He's fucking hysterical.
00:17:23It's a perfect randomness comedy.
00:17:25Ed guy?
00:17:26Oh, yeah.
00:17:26Yeah, he's not a good guy. He canceled.
00:17:28Oh, okay.
00:17:29He likes to play a little below the playing field.
00:17:31Okay, yeah.
00:17:32Very funny in this movie.
00:17:36Stepbrothers.
00:17:36It's Stepbrothers. I very much like role models. It's very funny.
00:17:40Stepbrothers is iconic.
00:17:42It is. What are you doing?
00:17:44Burying you.
00:17:49Them whispering in bed too.
00:17:53Burying you.
00:17:54A little Seth Rogen scene where they're interviewing in the tuxedo.
00:17:57All time fart scene.
00:17:58The Nazis to scare people.
00:18:00I can taste it.
00:18:03I think it's Stepbrothers, but to give a sports analogy, Stepbrothers runs a 4-4,
00:18:10has all the five-star recruits loaded, and role models is this little ragtag
00:18:16school with shitty uniforms, and they give it a run.
00:18:19It's like a game in the fourth quarter.
00:18:20You know what I mean?
00:18:21Role models, you do not expect to be in this, and then you're watching the game,
00:18:24and you're like, oh, are they going to pull the upset here?
00:18:26I get it. I like role models. I don't even give it.
00:18:30They give it. It's almost like they had a game until halftime in Alabama.
00:18:33Okay.
00:18:34Halftime.
00:18:34Yeah.
00:18:35No, no, no. Yeah, I guess I shouldn't say fourth quarter. Maybe they stuck with them until about.
00:18:39It's just probably the better way to say it.
00:18:41But it's a different class. Role models is not supposed to be in that.
00:18:44I remember seeing role models the same way, scrolling one of those movie websites and being
00:18:47like, let me watch this, and being like, what the fuck is this? This is hilarious.
00:18:52And the LARPing at the end, this is fucking great.
00:18:55Every side character in there is unbelievable.
00:18:57I might rewatch role models tonight.
00:18:58Yeah, it's been a long time.
00:19:00I don't know if I've.
00:19:00I guarantee that's not the first time you're going to say I'm going to rewatch that tonight
00:19:03during the rest of this bracket episode.
00:19:04Okay, right now. All right, I'm going to make a deal. I'm going to rewatch one of these movies
00:19:07tonight. So far, role model.
00:19:09As the title.
00:19:09As the leader in the clubhouse.
00:19:10As the belt.
00:19:11Real quick, I want to add in. I said this out front back, so everyone probably already heard
00:19:15it, but I watched father figures last night. I thought that was great.
00:19:19Father figures.
00:19:20Terrible terror. I didn't watch. I didn't look at the Rotten Tomatoes until after.
00:19:23Wait, is this Bill Burr?
00:19:25No, it's fucking.
00:19:26That movie is bad.
00:19:28Okay, I know that one is not great.
00:19:30It's Owen Wilson and Ed Helms are the stars, and Glenn closes their mom, and she says who
00:19:38their dad is. They want to go find their dad, and they see it's Christopher Walken.
00:19:42It's J.K. Simmons.
00:19:44Harry Bradshaw.
00:19:47A couple other people.
00:19:50I had a great time watching it, and I laughed throughout it.
00:19:52Never blasted such as we're doing now, but this was great, and I looked up at Rotten
00:19:57Tomatoes after. It's like 14%.
00:19:59I only remember Terry Bradshaw from that movie.
00:20:01That's the only thing I remember is Terry Bradshaw.
00:20:02What was your she's out of my league story you referenced?
00:20:05She's out of my league, so I'll be quick with it, but it was one summer. I was living in
00:20:12Newport. We would always get movies at Redbox, and we got one morning, woke up, hung over
00:20:18still, went, got, she's out of my league, watched it with all of us.
00:20:23My friend fell asleep during it.
00:20:24He wakes up, and he's like, how's that movie end?
00:20:27And we're like, it's actually crazy.
00:20:30She dies.
00:20:31They have a plane crash, and they both die in a plane crash, and he's like, what the
00:20:35fuck?
00:20:36That's a crazy way to move it in that movie.
00:20:38I'm like, yeah, I know.
00:20:38Nuts.
00:20:39And he'd bring it up periodically every once every two weeks.
00:20:43He'd be like, that's crazy.
00:20:45They ended that movie that way, and we're like, yeah, I know.
00:20:47It's nuts.
00:20:48And then he died.
00:20:49And then we were at the funeral, and my buddy just hits me and goes, he still thinks she's
00:20:54out of my league.
00:20:54Ended with a plane crash.
00:20:55Oh, my God.
00:20:56That's so morbid, but that's really funny.
00:20:58Wow.
00:20:58Did not see that curveball.
00:21:00Did not see that curveball.
00:21:01That was a serious fucking curveball fight.
00:21:04It's like, oh, shit, that's right.
00:21:05We never told them the fucking real ending.
00:21:10Jesus.
00:21:11Stark.
00:21:13All right.
00:21:13Eight Seed versus the Nine Seed as Step Brothers moves on.
00:21:16Eight Seed is one that I think maybe got a lot more similar role models where it's
00:21:21like overrated to underrated type of deal.
00:21:23Hot Rod.
00:21:23Hot Rod got a lot of late.
00:21:24I've not seen it.
00:21:25Truthfully, I've not seen it.
00:21:26Hot Rod got a very late run.
00:21:28Have you seen Hot Rod over here?
00:21:29Yep.
00:21:29I saw it in theaters.
00:21:30I haven't seen it since, so I feel like that doesn't even matter.
00:21:32I feel like we might have to swap this out.
00:21:33If it's this many people haven't seen it, I don't mind swapping it with a...
00:21:36I'm not.
00:21:37I'm a so-so Sandberg guy.
00:21:41Andy Sandberg?
00:21:41What was the Nine Seed?
00:21:43The Nine Seed is Tropic Thunder.
00:21:45I also have not seen that.
00:21:46Actually, I haven't seen that.
00:21:48We've seen Tropic Thunder.
00:21:49I've rewatched that recently.
00:21:50Yeah.
00:21:51Well, Killer might be mine tonight.
00:21:52Actually, I haven't rewatched that one in a while.
00:21:53We could swap Hot Rod with something from the play-in game or one of the play-in games.
00:21:58Let's swap it with, let's say, Dodgeball.
00:22:02How about that?
00:22:02Oh, Dodgeball 20th Anniversary.
00:22:04Dodgeball was in the play-in.
00:22:05It has to be on there.
00:22:06So we'll swap it in for Dodgeball Hot Rod.
00:22:09So Dodgeball versus Tropic Thunder to advance.
00:22:13Let's start with you, Rico.
00:22:14I would go Dodgeball just because I've seen it.
00:22:16But I've heard the allure that Tropic Thunder is better.
00:22:18So I will vote on Tropic Thunder blind, I guess.
00:22:22You can abstain.
00:22:23Yeah, I'll abstain then because I haven't seen it.
00:22:25But I do know that Tropic Thunder has a lot of heat behind it.
00:22:29I rewatched it recently.
00:22:30It holds up so well.
00:22:32It's so fucking funny.
00:22:33Yeah.
00:22:34You know, Tropic Thunder was always one of my...
00:22:38I've probably only seen it three to five times, but...
00:22:41That's a significant amount of times.
00:22:44Movies I like, I've seen a hundred times.
00:22:49I didn't like it as much as everyone else does.
00:22:51I like it.
00:22:52It's funny, but I don't have the love for it that everyone else does.
00:22:55I will rewatch it tonight.
00:22:56Maybe that changes.
00:22:56But I have rewatched Dodgeball recently.
00:22:58And that really fucking holds up.
00:23:00So I'm going Dodgeball.
00:23:02One for Dodgeball.
00:23:03Tommy?
00:23:03I'm going Tropic Thunder.
00:23:04I think even just the story is better.
00:23:08Like making a movie.
00:23:09I mean, Robert Downey Jr. in it, obviously incredible.
00:23:11The Tom Cruise-like character is so funny.
00:23:15Robert Downey Jr. won an Oscar for that?
00:23:17Or nominated.
00:23:18He lost to Eddie Bredger.
00:23:19That's crazy.
00:23:20He was nominated for that?
00:23:22Get nominated for an Oscar in a comedy movie like that.
00:23:25Nobody gets nominated for it.
00:23:26It almost makes you think they should have their own category.
00:23:29They do in Emmys and shit.
00:23:31Yeah.
00:23:32Why is there not?
00:23:32Why don't we respect comedy?
00:23:34I remember Michael Che after Joe Koy's bomb at the Oscars or Golden Globes.
00:23:39He's like, they don't respect comedy.
00:23:41Otherwise, fucking Eddie Murphy would have been nominated.
00:23:46Although I forget.
00:23:46He had a couple of names where he's like, they would have been nominated for their comedies,
00:23:49not for their dramas.
00:23:51Yeah, we do.
00:23:52I'm going Tropic Thunder.
00:23:53One for Tropic Thunder.
00:23:54One to one right now.
00:23:55I like Tropic Thunder.
00:23:56I mean, I think it's a great movie.
00:23:58But in that little three year period, like 06-09, I don't think it holds up to the other
00:24:03juggernauts from that era.
00:24:04And Dodgeball is a fucking awesome movie.
00:24:07It's hilarious.
00:24:07It's an amazing movie.
00:24:08I'm sticking with Dodgeball.
00:24:09I like Dodgeball a lot.
00:24:11I saw Dodgeball in theaters.
00:24:12That's a fucking.
00:24:12Did you?
00:24:13Dodgeball is awesome.
00:24:14I saw Dodgeball in theaters as well.
00:24:16Was probably way too young, but my brother took me to see it.
00:24:19And then I just like went in the backyard and remember being like, all right, let's play
00:24:22Dodgeball.
00:24:22And my brother's 12 years older than me.
00:24:24So he's like, all right, let's play Dodgeball.
00:24:26Like, White Goodman.
00:24:28I think it is so good.
00:24:30Like I rewatched Dodgeball very recently.
00:24:32I have to rewatch it.
00:24:33Holds up.
00:24:34So Ben Stiller's character, it might be the best Ben Stiller character in any movie.
00:24:38Like Zoolander is obviously up there as well.
00:24:40But then nobody makes me bleed my own blood.
00:24:43It's one of the most quoted things from any of these movies.
00:24:45You ever see $100,000?
00:24:47It's not as impressive as it seems in the movies.
00:24:48It opens up the case.
00:24:49I got to go.
00:24:50I feel the same way as Fights with Tropic Thunder.
00:24:52I like it, but I feel like I don't like it on the level that most people do.
00:24:57It seems to be the majority feeling in this room.
00:24:59True.
00:24:59Yeah.
00:25:00I think if I were to vote, I like it a lot.
00:25:02I think Tom Cruise is hysterical in it.
00:25:04He's my favorite.
00:25:05Tom Cruise is unbelievable.
00:25:06And you ever hear the story of that where he's like, he agreed to do the movie.
00:25:09But he's like, the only way I will do this cameo is if you let me have really giant fake
00:25:14prosthetic hands.
00:25:15He's like, that's the only way I'll do this.
00:25:17They made these massive, hairy hands for him to wear as the executive or whatever.
00:25:21And Matthew McConaughey, very funny in Tropic Thunder as well.
00:25:24I don't remember him, man.
00:25:25Wait, what is...
00:25:26He's Ben Stiller's agent.
00:25:27Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:25:28He throws the TiVo to save him at the end.
00:25:31There's TiVo up to save him.
00:25:32There's a whole...
00:25:32There's so many funny scenes in that.
00:25:34And even Robert Downey Jr. doing the full black scent, all that stuff.
00:25:37It's just hysterical.
00:25:38And the fact that they try to cancel them every five years when they remember it is
00:25:42also very funny.
00:25:43But either way, Dodgeball, I'm going to move on.
00:25:45Now we have the One Seed versus our first playing game.
00:25:48First playing game options are...
00:25:50First, not chances of getting a vote, but I have to include it because people will crucify
00:25:54if I don't add it because I think it's a hysterical movie.
00:25:56Hot Fuzz is very funny.
00:25:57Most of those English Simon Pegg movies are very funny.
00:25:59Just have to include it.
00:26:01Kung Pao, I add.
00:26:02That's a vanity pick by me.
00:26:03Kung Pao, you might as well have seen it.
00:26:05Annie McBride.
00:26:06I've seen it.
00:26:06Different movie.
00:26:07That's foot fist away.
00:26:08Kung Pao is a very funny movie where this dude, I think Steve Odenkirk, he took an old
00:26:14Kung Fu movie and he superimposed himself into it.
00:26:17And it's overdubbed.
00:26:19It's very, very funny.
00:26:20Another one that got a lot of votes on Twitter and Instagram.
00:26:22People were talking about it.
00:26:23Grandma's Boy.
00:26:25Very, very, very, very, very funny.
00:26:27This is the End.
00:26:29Oh, that's...
00:26:30I hated This is the End the first time I watched it.
00:26:33Second time I thought it was the funniest movie.
00:26:34I want to do that for movies sometimes.
00:26:37That's the first time I've ever done it.
00:26:39Horrible Bosses.
00:26:41Oh, good one.
00:26:42Just classic Bateman.
00:26:43Classic Bateman.
00:26:44Speaking of classic Bateman, Game Night.
00:26:46Oh, boy.
00:26:48One of the best movies of all time.
00:26:49Yeah.
00:26:49That's really nice.
00:26:52That's a play movie for me.
00:26:54So to take some of the vanity ones out, we'll do Grandma's Boy, This is the End, Horrible
00:26:57Bosses, or Game Night.
00:26:58Which one's getting through the chain?
00:26:59Start with you, Morty.
00:27:00Oh, my God.
00:27:01That's brutal.
00:27:03This is going up against our one seed, by the way.
00:27:06Horrible Bosses became like a comfort watch for me, too.
00:27:10It's always on some cable channel.
00:27:12I'm going to go Horrible Bosses.
00:27:14One for Horrible Bosses.
00:27:15This is really close for me between Game Night and This is the End.
00:27:21I love both of those movies, and I've rewatched both of them.
00:27:24Like Marty said, almost like comfort movies for me at this point.
00:27:27I think I'm going to go Game Night because This is the End gets a little crazy towards
00:27:31the end.
00:27:32Once the fucking big CGI demon gets in the movie, I'm kind of over it.
00:27:36That's why I didn't like it the first time.
00:27:37Yeah.
00:27:38This is the End falls off hard and fast.
00:27:41So fast.
00:27:43And Game Night doesn't.
00:27:44Everybody.
00:27:46Kevin Hart dies in, like, four seconds.
00:27:48Yeah.
00:27:48Is that the one where they find out something's an alien?
00:27:50The world's ending, and they're all stuck.
00:27:52If you don't know this is the end now, you're not going to know.
00:27:56I'm going to go Game Night because I actually think Game Night is strong.
00:28:00This is the end.
00:28:01Yeah.
00:28:01Turns into a demon.
00:28:02Yeah.
00:28:02He's got these three trunks that go in.
00:28:02They're all stuck in the house together.
00:28:05Yeah.
00:28:05I think I saw that one.
00:28:07You would definitely know.
00:28:08Rihanna slaps Michael Cera after he slaps her ass.
00:28:11No.
00:28:11Still not.
00:28:12You're definitely not going to remember this.
00:28:13No.
00:28:14Is this a power stance you're doing?
00:28:15Is this a new one?
00:28:16I don't know.
00:28:16It's comfortable.
00:28:17Try something out.
00:28:17I like it, to be honest.
00:28:18It's just I've never seen anyone do that.
00:28:20I'm going Game Night.
00:28:21I think Game Night's hysterical.
00:28:22I think it's actually well written.
00:28:23It's a fun mystery.
00:28:24Jesse Plemons, one of his credentials ever.
00:28:27Possibly be profitable.
00:28:29Great.
00:28:30So one for Horrible Bosses, one for Game Night.
00:28:32This Is The End is probably my third favorite comedy of all time.
00:28:35I think it's maybe one on a good day.
00:28:40The idea of the movie is so fucking awesome,
00:28:41how it's all these real people hanging out together.
00:28:43I was 17 seeing it.
00:28:46I was so excited.
00:28:47And I also think it's the best role,
00:28:49the funniest role by the funniest person to ever live, Danny McBride.
00:28:53Danny McBride and James Franco's fight over jerking off.
00:28:56I think it's the funniest comedy scene ever.
00:28:57And with Channing Tatum at the end.
00:28:59And then he's literally fucking Channing Tatum.
00:29:02But him and Danny McBride and James Franco's fight over jerking off.
00:29:06I think it's the funniest comedy scene of all time.
00:29:09It's obscene.
00:29:10James Franco taking out that gun and being,
00:29:11I got it from Flyboys.
00:29:12And that's like a dumb movie thing that just really made me laugh.
00:29:14And James Franco is so funny in it.
00:29:16Jonah Hill when he's fake nice is so funny in it.
00:29:19Jonah Hill fake niceness is so funny.
00:29:23Danny McBride is my favorite.
00:29:26I'm like, I love it.
00:29:26It's funny because this entire episode is basically like Jonah Hill being like,
00:29:30these references are sick, bro.
00:29:31Like that's the entire episode.
00:29:33The best references.
00:29:34His references are out of control.
00:29:36Everybody knows that.
00:29:40The Tatum cameo in that, he's talked about that.
00:29:42Where he basically agreed to do it drunk and was still drunk when they shot it.
00:29:48It was basically like he got a text like,
00:29:50hey, tomorrow morning, can you come do this?
00:29:51And he was like, yeah, fuck it.
00:29:53Why not?
00:29:54And he's like, I saw it on screen.
00:29:55I was like, I probably should have done that.
00:29:59Look at him too.
00:29:59Like he commits.
00:30:00He like arches his ass up.
00:30:03So one each for this is the end.
00:30:06Horrible Bosses and Game Night.
00:30:07Tommy.
00:30:07I'm like having a fucking crisis over here.
00:30:10I'm between Horrible Bosses, Game Night, and this is the end.
00:30:13I mean, Bateman.
00:30:14Obviously, I love Bateman.
00:30:15He's my favorite actor.
00:30:17What's your favorite actor?
00:30:19Yes, I'd probably go Horrible Bosses over Game Night.
00:30:22But it's between Horrible Bosses.
00:30:24And this is the end is so funny.
00:30:26It's so funny.
00:30:27It's as hard as I've laughed in a movie theater.
00:30:29The end does fall off a little bit.
00:30:31But those first two thirds are like, even though sick.
00:30:35Yeah, I got to go.
00:30:36This is the end.
00:30:36Pays me to do that.
00:30:37Pains me to do that to my guy, Bateman.
00:30:38But I got to go.
00:30:39This is the end.
00:30:39I got a funny Colin Farrell and Kevin Spacey.
00:30:41Both are horrible bosses.
00:30:42They are like for two very out of left field roles for them.
00:30:46Hysterical.
00:30:47Kevin Spacey is eerie in that.
00:30:48Yeah, and in real life.
00:30:50Farrell when he's when he's trimming the fat.
00:30:53The guy in the wheelchair or something, right?
00:30:55Yeah, he's rolling around.
00:31:01For me, it's between Horrible Bosses and Game Night.
00:31:03I love them both, but it's Horrible Bosses for Spacey,
00:31:07for Colin Farrell, Charlie Day.
00:31:10Sudeikis.
00:31:11Sudeikis.
00:31:11Vegas.
00:31:12Jennifer Aniston.
00:31:13Oh, yeah, about Horrible Bosses.
00:31:16This is I wasn't there.
00:31:18So it was the third party.
00:31:19K Marco when it came out.
00:31:22K Marco went to see it in theaters opening night.
00:31:25Horrible Bosses ended up sitting next to.
00:31:30Gossip Girl.
00:31:31Blake Lively.
00:31:32Oh, but that show.
00:31:34Guy.
00:31:35Guy.
00:31:36Penn Badgley.
00:31:37Penn Badgley.
00:31:37Oh, and when Jennifer Aniston is in the tub and says,
00:31:41I fucked myself to Penn Badgley last night, got up and left.
00:31:45Oh, my God.
00:31:47What?
00:31:48K Marco, he was like, I don't know if he knew the line was
00:31:51in it and just wanted to go hear her say it, or if he was
00:31:54offended by it.
00:31:54I don't know why he got up and left, but like.
00:31:56Weirdly enough, Penn Badgley is offended by it.
00:32:00That's crazy.
00:32:03He went by himself?
00:32:04I don't remember.
00:32:05Obviously, it was so long ago.
00:32:06Yeah.
00:32:07He was telling me about this.
00:32:08I'm like, gee, Jack, when I think he was still living in
00:32:10New York.
00:32:10I was living in Boston.
00:32:13Or like he just went to a different theater to see
00:32:15another show.
00:32:15To see it again.
00:32:16Yeah, that's what we were talking about.
00:32:18Maybe he just knew what was coming.
00:32:20Just wanted to hear Jennifer Aniston say, I fucked myself
00:32:22to Penn Badgley last night.
00:32:23She is so hot.
00:32:25I don't think they know that their names are used in these
00:32:30movies.
00:32:30I could get out, though.
00:32:32Yeah.
00:32:32I even asked Glenn.
00:32:33I asked Taylor Lautner if he knew about Entourage, all the
00:32:38references to him.
00:32:39He said, I have no idea what you're talking about.
00:32:40Really?
00:32:41Yeah.
00:32:41And I was like, oh, my God, that's ruined everything for
00:32:43me.
00:32:44You would think you would know.
00:32:46Also, Harbour Bosses and Motherfucker Jones.
00:32:48Motherfucker Jones.
00:32:49Your jam.
00:32:49Jamie Foxx.
00:32:50Motherfucker Jones is unreal.
00:32:52Motherfucker Jones is unreal.
00:32:54Really good.
00:32:55Charlie Day saves Kevin Spacey's life.
00:32:59So the guy we're trying to kill was dying.
00:33:03He's all hyped about it.
00:33:04He says, see me out there.
00:33:08Oh, fuck.
00:33:09So we're two for Game Night, two for Harbour Bosses, one for
00:33:11This is the End.
00:33:13I'm irrelevant.
00:33:14Two This is the End.
00:33:14Smoking with This is the End, right?
00:33:16Oh, you sorry.
00:33:17So swap that for Game Night.
00:33:18I think I'm irrelevant.
00:33:18But Grandma's Boy, the first time I saw that was hysterical.
00:33:21You weren't irrelevant until you picked Grandma's Boy.
00:33:23You could not have been more relevant until you made that pick.
00:33:26Could have been a three way tie.
00:33:29Grandma's Boy just came out.
00:33:31Yeah.
00:33:31Grandma's Boy is one of the options.
00:33:32Grandma's Boy came out at the wrong time for me.
00:33:35We're like, I was not a pothead kid.
00:33:38And it was one of those like the pothead kids obsessed over.
00:33:41And you're just like, fucking shut up about.
00:33:44Oh, yeah, I watched it with a bunch of people who were high.
00:33:46I was not.
00:33:48Some of the scenes were like, how did he see me?
00:33:50The JP characters.
00:33:52Yeah, he's really, really good.
00:33:54Swartzen, you know, never really like blew up, but he's good
00:33:58carrying this.
00:33:59And then the other guy who's Sandler's Boy.
00:34:01Hound Covert.
00:34:02Yeah.
00:34:02Yes.
00:34:02Like, it was nice to see a guy like that carry a movie.
00:34:05And it was again, like, didn't think they were working with
00:34:07much, but it was really, really good.
00:34:09Linda Cardellini, right?
00:34:12Jonah Hill is also.
00:34:12He's sucking the boobs the whole time.
00:34:14Yeah.
00:34:14Wow.
00:34:15Good call.
00:34:15Jonah Hill might be in the most of the movies that we.
00:34:18Yes.
00:34:19So it's going to come down to my vote.
00:34:21I think between the two of This Is The End and Horrible Bosses,
00:34:23I would pick Horrible Bosses just off.
00:34:24If you hadn't said motherfucking, it would have been much harder for me.
00:34:27I regret saying that now because I'm a This Is The End guy through and through.
00:34:30Horrible Bosses.
00:34:31It is very funny.
00:34:32It is also a pretty decent sequel.
00:34:34It's not as good as the first.
00:34:35Yes.
00:34:36It's like a third.
00:34:37Definitely two.
00:34:38I don't think three.
00:34:38Two is good.
00:34:40It's funny enough where it's not a disappointment.
00:34:42Yes.
00:34:43That's right.
00:34:43He's like the son of the Scion or whatever.
00:34:46Yeah.
00:34:46So Horrible Bosses is going to go up against number one.
00:34:48See, can you guys guess what it's going to be?
00:34:50I'm super bad.
00:34:51Super bad.
00:34:52Yeah.
00:34:52So super bad versus Horrible Bosses.
00:34:54This feels like almost unfair, but start with you Rico.
00:34:57Super bad.
00:34:58Yeah.
00:34:58I mean, it's just.
00:34:59I know the Jonah Hill one.
00:35:00I think it's super.
00:35:01Yeah.
00:35:01It's Jonah Hill.
00:35:02It's super bad.
00:35:02It's that something about like you start your night out with no car like they did,
00:35:08or maybe they did, but you go to a party and it's just that's just high school.
00:35:11It's high school.
00:35:13So many nights like that of just being in the woods, trying to find booze, going somewhere.
00:35:17Things get rappaged off.
00:35:18You end up somewhere.
00:35:19Somebody ends somewhere else, comes back, tells a story like the McLovin thing.
00:35:23I don't know.
00:35:23Super bad is just elite, elite.
00:35:25Some of the best.
00:35:26Also, we want a great outtake reel.
00:35:28If you've never seen the super bad, they just laugh out loud.
00:35:30Funny fights.
00:35:31Yeah.
00:35:31I was going to try and make an argument for Horrible Bosses, but don't overthink it.
00:35:34Just throw another super bad.
00:35:38Yeah.
00:35:38I mean, I don't like it's not going to be for me where it's like, oh, super bad.
00:35:42Just going to run through this bracket.
00:35:43I think it's great.
00:35:45It's not my number one, but it is better than Horrible Bosses.
00:35:50Two for super bad or three for super bad now.
00:35:53This makes me feel a lot better that this is going against,
00:35:55that this is going against super bad because there's no,
00:35:57this is the end without super bad.
00:35:58Obviously.
00:35:59Also, Danny McBride in both movies.
00:36:00Great cameo.
00:36:01And he brought into the background of the party scene.
00:36:03You have to admit, that ending was one of the stupidest endings.
00:36:06This is the end?
00:36:07Yeah.
00:36:08What do you mean?
00:36:08They go to heaven?
00:36:09Their Backstreet Boys are there?
00:36:10That's a good part.
00:36:11We're not talking about that part.
00:36:12The big demon.
00:36:13So you guys, in the past, you guys said you hated Jonah Hill.
00:36:16You said you love Jonah Hill as a demon.
00:36:18You said you like Chet and Tatum and you like Backstreet Boys.
00:36:20I never said that.
00:36:21I never said that.
00:36:21It's the last 20 minutes of the movie.
00:36:23That's the end of the movie.
00:36:24Point balls.
00:36:25Point balls.
00:36:26Demon.
00:36:26Three things.
00:36:28What are we doing here?
00:36:28We didn't have to have that.
00:36:30What do you mean?
00:36:30It was the rapture.
00:36:32You seem like you're going to turn it to them.
00:36:35I feel like people forget how much literally super bad is engraved in our actual,
00:36:40like, language now.
00:36:42Which are lexicon.
00:36:43Yeah.
00:36:44Like, the one thing off the top of my head, sitting alone, like, you're Steven Glanzberg.
00:36:47That's literally in every...
00:36:48That is crazy.
00:36:49That's in the world's language.
00:36:50Some people probably don't even know it's for, like, younger people.
00:36:53Also, I wonder...
00:36:54I heard that before I watched the movie.
00:36:55Yeah.
00:36:56The Steven Glanzberg.
00:36:56You guys could tell me wrong because I was 11 when I saw this.
00:36:59Like, you know how, like, the situation kind of popularized DTF, down to fuck?
00:37:03Jonah Hill says it in Superbad.
00:37:05Does he?
00:37:06He says she's DTF.
00:37:07She's down to fuck P and G.
00:37:08Seth is making a pubic salad.
00:37:10Her mom is making a pubic salad.
00:37:12She needs Seth's own dressing.
00:37:15I kind of thought DTF was Jersey Shore.
00:37:17So did I, but he said Superbad first.
00:37:20Jesus.
00:37:20She's DTF.
00:37:21She's down to fuck, man.
00:37:22When did Superbad come out?
00:37:232007.
00:37:242007, yeah.
00:37:25August 9th, 2007.
00:37:28Wow.
00:37:28Wow.
00:37:29Almost the anniversary.
00:37:30Yeah.
00:37:31Glenny's birthday is August 11th.
00:37:33So he probably remembers.
00:37:34Oh, it's not that...
00:37:35Autistic.
00:37:36What Bob just said about...
00:37:38What movie did you say your mom was?
00:37:39I don't think it's Autistic.
00:37:40Stepbrothers.
00:37:41Oh, that was...
00:37:41Thank for the record.
00:37:42Dad, he was like...
00:37:42It's like August 9th through our hearts.
00:37:46It's insane.
00:37:47So we're four for Superbad, but Robbie?
00:37:49Easy Superbad vote for me.
00:37:50I like horrible bosses.
00:37:51I think Superbad, what Glenny was talking about before, he's like, there's funny movies,
00:37:54and then there's like the best movie.
00:37:56I think it's a perfect combination of both, where it's hysterical,
00:37:59but it's also like a perfectly made movie.
00:38:01There's like not a scene in that movie wasted.
00:38:0517th, it's a week early.
00:38:07It's Superbad.
00:38:08It's also like Rico said, it's just like when it came out...
00:38:11Well, so 2007, I was middle school, I guess.
00:38:14That's just like...
00:38:16And when you grow up, you're like, yep, that was high school.
00:38:18It's just right after high school.
00:38:20Oh, seven was...
00:38:22I was two years out.
00:38:23So it was like perfect time to see it.
00:38:24Hater and...
00:38:25What did he say?
00:38:27High school, 2005.
00:38:28Fastest kid alive.
00:38:29Yeah, he's the fastest guy alive.
00:38:30Oh my God.
00:38:32Sorry, I blocked your cock.
00:38:33In and around her mouth.
00:38:34And McLovin, the cultural lexicon thing.
00:38:36So many.
00:38:37I gotta get a look at this warlock.
00:38:39I gotta catch him.
00:38:41Also, once again, Joe Lo Truglio.
00:38:42Joe Lo Truglio, yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:38:44He's got my space.
00:38:46So fucking funny.
00:38:49I mean, he's very funny in Brooklyn Nine-Nine too.
00:38:51He's very funny in Brooklyn.
00:38:52That's an underrated sitcom.
00:38:53People don't talk about that now.
00:38:55But either way, Superbad is gonna move on.
00:38:56Before we get to the second half of the brag,
00:38:57let's talk about our other friends over at BetterHelp.

00:39:40Thanks to our buddies over at BetterHelp.
00:39:42Now we have another one on the other side,
00:39:44a six versus 11 matchup that's very interesting.
00:39:47Six is the hangover.
00:39:49And this one was another tough one.
00:39:50I wasn't sure where to see.
00:39:51I would have thought it was higher than that.
00:39:53Six?
00:39:53I would have thought it was two.
00:39:55Six for the hangover.
00:39:56And I think part of the reason I put it a little bit lower
00:39:59is the impact of Superbad is still very present.
00:40:04The impact of the hangover, I don't think, is as...
00:40:07I think...
00:40:07Masturbating on an airplane.
00:40:08I think...
00:40:09How many bachelor parties are doing the...
00:40:12Does Caesar actually live here?
00:40:14I remember seeing the trailer for Hangover,
00:40:18and I go, that's it.
00:40:19Like, that's a hit.
00:40:20It's the movie.
00:40:21It was a hit.
00:40:22I was like, the day that movie comes out, I'm going to see it.
00:40:25Yes.
00:40:25I saw that movie.
00:40:25Back when comedies were unbelievable,
00:40:27and it's like the run, and I was like...
00:40:28What year was that?
00:40:30Yeah, that was a good...
00:40:32Great couple of years ago.
00:40:33Day the Hangover comes out.
00:40:34I was like, I got it.
00:40:35I want to get autistic on you.
00:40:36I think it was like June 18th-ish.
00:40:38I think it was June.
00:40:39Might be June 18th, 2000.
00:40:41Or June 21st.
00:40:42It might be June 21st.
00:40:43Okay, are you locking it in?
00:40:45You're locking it in?
00:40:45June 21st.
00:40:47Hangover released it June 5th, 2009.
00:40:49Not even close.
00:40:50That was actually...
00:40:51Pathetic.
00:40:56Damn, I'm not autistic anymore.
00:40:58The Hangover is going up against the 11-seed Old School.
00:41:00Another one who Harry heavily replied with.
00:41:03This is a first-round matchup?
00:41:04Yeah, it's a 6-11.
00:41:06It's a Final Four matchup.
00:41:07Tough one.
00:41:10Old School, another very, very funny one.
00:41:12Start with you, Rico.
00:41:13Can we petition to put Old School in the one that we've
00:41:16voided out in the 8-9 slot?
00:41:18Dodgeball?
00:41:19A little late for that.
00:41:20All right.
00:41:20Well, we didn't know the whole bracket.
00:41:22This is a Final Four-esque matchup.
00:41:24Like, I don't know.
00:41:26I think it's going to be the Hangover.
00:41:28But Old School, down the shore, we used to watch this all the time.
00:41:32And then little lines that people pick up on, like,
00:41:34don't look at the baby.
00:41:35Smile.
00:41:35Don't look at the baby.
00:41:36I'm worth $3 million that the government knows about.
00:41:40Yeah, fuck, man.
00:41:42Old School is...
00:41:43My boy blue has been around.
00:41:44That's my boy blue.
00:41:46Do you want to hear a fun fact about $3.5 million that the government knows about?
00:41:49I, a few years ago, I was bored.
00:41:50I bought a Speaker City tank top and a Speaker City hat.
00:41:53And I tweeted out a photo of me in the Speaker City hat.
00:41:56And I tweeted, I'm worth $3.5 million that the government knows about.
00:41:59And if you type in on Google, Glennie Paulson net worth, it comes up as $3.5 million.
00:42:02No way.
00:42:03Really?
00:42:05I'm going to do that next.
00:42:08I'll do it right now.
00:42:10Yeah, I mean, Will Ferrell, this is before Will Ferrell, like,
00:42:15got to be where he was playing the character everywhere.
00:42:17This is when Will Ferrell, I think, is at his best.
00:42:19Like, it's a little cold out there, Frank.
00:42:22Um, tranquilizer scene.
00:42:23Very funny.
00:42:24Tranquil.
00:42:24Sean William Scott again.
00:42:27Shit.
00:42:27Yeah, I think it's the hangover.
00:42:28We'll never stop laughing when the fat guy does the flips.
00:42:31It always will make me laugh.
00:42:33Yeah.
00:42:33Ori Gold has a great category.
00:42:34I think it's going to be the hangover because it was hangover was one of those movies that
00:42:40reinvented the wheel.
00:42:41Like, you hadn't seen anything like that.
00:42:42That speed.
00:42:43It was almost like it was playing downhill compared to everybody else.
00:42:46And it was just running faster than everybody.
00:42:49Um, but old school does not deserve to go out in the first round.
00:42:53But to me, it's the hangover.
00:42:54One for the hangover fights.
00:42:56Yeah, this is a tough one.
00:42:59I also haven't rewatched either of these in a while.
00:43:01But I do remember thinking that old school of, like, that era of that comedy, like,
00:43:09is the purely funniest one.
00:43:11Like, there's a wedding crashes are bigger, but that gets more comedy.
00:43:15I'm sorry.
00:43:15More romance.
00:43:16Like, old school is like, I'm just gonna throw a fastball and I'm gonna throw it to
00:43:20you nonstop for an hour and a half.
00:43:22Um, I actually think the hangover is like that.
00:43:26I think the hangover, but I was saying it at the time.
00:43:29Like, yes, at that time, I actually think the hangover doesn't have much as much depth
00:43:34as old school does.
00:43:36I actually the hangover has, like, the mystery.
00:43:39Yeah.
00:43:39Yeah.
00:43:40But I think hangover is like that high speed.
00:43:42We're going to try and run 100 and fucking up tempo passing.
00:43:46I actually think old school has more depth.
00:43:49I think there's funnier shit.
00:43:50Like, they keep re gifting the thing.
00:43:54Fucking different people that show up the damn.
00:43:56You know what?
00:43:56Switch my fucking vote.
00:43:57You go to old school.
00:43:58Yeah, I'm going old school.
00:44:00I think that's where I was going to go.
00:44:01Same director, by the way.
00:44:02Which is Todd Phillips.
00:44:03They were quick.
00:44:04I didn't know he did old school.
00:44:05He shows up in the beginning of old school.
00:44:06He's like, I'm here for the gang bang.
00:44:08Oh, yeah.
00:44:10Um, yeah, it's a very tight one for me.
00:44:13But I think I think I'm probably going to go old school.
00:44:17Doesn't Craig Killborn say, like, well, we don't knock now.
00:44:19Yeah, there's so many dry lines.
00:44:23Two for old school.
00:44:25It's comfortably the hangover for me.
00:44:27This is my number one.
00:44:29I do, like, up until when people would ask me, oh, what are your favorite movies?
00:44:33I would say, like, the hangover in the dark night.
00:44:35I think I have to stop answering 28 years.
00:44:38Oh, I think you got to keep it.
00:44:39But the hangover.
00:44:40Yeah.
00:44:41Saw it in the theaters with my friends.
00:44:42So fucking fun.
00:44:43Like, never laugh so hard.
00:44:45The trailer's great.
00:44:46The post credit scene to the Flo Rida with all the outcuts.
00:44:50So it's good.
00:44:51Just so I mean, Ken Jeong's unreal in it.
00:44:53Obviously, Zach Galifianakis.
00:44:55Toodaloo, motherfucker.
00:44:57Chinese nuts.
00:44:59When he pulls out his small rat coming out of my lap.
00:45:02Oh, my God.
00:45:03That's the cock test.
00:45:04Yeah, that's the cock test.
00:45:07I as a man of my word, I got to flip my vote.
00:45:10It's the hangover.
00:45:13This is going to be my number one.
00:45:14I always tell myself, first time ever go to Vegas.
00:45:16I'm going to watch this on the flight.
00:45:17Did it.
00:45:18Paid off.
00:45:19Honestly, also, I've seen when they're pulling into Vegas and all live your life.
00:45:23Yeah, that's all the life.
00:45:25It's good.
00:45:26Welcome to the good life.
00:45:26I thought it's just unreal sound.
00:45:29Yeah, yeah.
00:45:30Live your life is in it.
00:45:33Wait, is that when that's not when Tyson shows up, right?
00:45:37No, even that's a great camera.
00:45:39Even like this song that is great.
00:45:42The song they sing of, like, my best friend.
00:45:46That song is fantastic.
00:45:48Yeah, that's iconic.
00:45:49It's probably would be a little less funny.
00:45:52That's hangover, too.
00:45:53As in, like, but it's still.
00:45:55Yeah, the hangover is one where I like thinking of it.
00:45:59I haven't seen in a while.
00:46:00I feel like it doesn't hold up.
00:46:02Oh, no, it does.
00:46:03Does it?
00:46:03I've been watching a long time.
00:46:04I'm in the same.
00:46:05I think it holds up.
00:46:06I'm going that it's the hangover will have my vote.
00:46:10By the way, I was an idiot.
00:46:10It's in the air tonight was what was Tyson song and punched in the face.
00:46:15So right now we are two to one in favor of the hangover.
00:46:18So, dude, my thing with old school, I was not an old school guy growing up.
00:46:21I think I was a little too young for like, I just missed when it came out.
00:46:24I think I watched for the first time in the last five years.
00:46:26Really?
00:46:27It's on the same way.
00:46:28It's also one of the shorter movies.
00:46:29It's like only an hour.
00:46:30Twenty.
00:46:31Yeah, and it's fucking.
00:46:32I mean, yeah, but like me, Piven's hilarious.
00:46:34Alicia Cuthbert.
00:46:35Yeah, this isn't like the so hot.
00:46:38What's out of the movie?
00:46:39Girl next door.
00:46:40It's like peak Vince Vaughn, like earmuffs.
00:46:43I mean, I love Vince Vaughn is very high up there for me.
00:46:45I love Vince Vaughn.
00:46:46But I was main thing I was mentioning earlier.
00:46:48I always say this.
00:46:49I've told you this Bob a thousand times.
00:46:51I think we're talking comedies.
00:46:52There's like best comedies and funniest comedies.
00:46:54I think Superbad is the funniest comedy.
00:46:55I think Hangover is the best comedy.
00:46:56Hangover is just an unbelievable, amazing movie.
00:46:58And it's just so fucking goddamn funny.
00:47:00It's the hangover by a billion.
00:47:01I love the hangover.
00:47:02Three for the hangover.
00:47:03It's easily the hangover for me.
00:47:04I liked old school when I watched it, but I wasn't blown away.
00:47:07I watched it in the last probably two or three years for the first time.
00:47:10Hangover, just like stepbrothers.
00:47:12I've rewatched those two more than any other comedy.
00:47:15I was Alan from the hangover for Halloween when I was in seven for one was at one point.
00:47:18I was Alan.
00:47:19Yeah, I did a good out.
00:47:20I got second place in the costume contest.
00:47:22I also got banned from Xbox Live for putting a quote from the hangover as my bio,
00:47:28which was Rain Man practically bankrupt a casino and he was a retard.
00:47:31Yeah, I forgot about that one.
00:47:35Banned me from Xbox Live.
00:47:36You know who's also a very underrated character in hangover?
00:47:38Eddie.
00:47:39Oh, Eddie's great.
00:47:40Brian Callen.
00:47:41Yeah.
00:47:41He's also hilarious as Samir in bring him back in the same exact role.
00:47:45Yeah, he was Samir.
00:47:46Different guy was Heather Graham.
00:47:48I remember who the girl was.
00:47:50Heather Graham.
00:47:50Yeah, he's great in it.
00:47:51The hangover is just it's hangover.
00:47:53It's I'm hangover too.
00:47:54It's hangover too was also fantastic.
00:47:57Funny.
00:47:57They keep going.
00:47:59We only took my dad.
00:48:00We went to see hangover too and took my dad and he was like,
00:48:02do I need to see the first one?
00:48:04Absolutely.
00:48:06Yes, you should watch it eventually, but you don't.
00:48:08And the whole time he just kept being like, what's with the thumb?
00:48:10What's with the finger?
00:48:11When they took the finger, when the guy loses his finger,
00:48:14what's with the finger like that?
00:48:15You just you got to go with it.
00:48:17They were actually both on this weekend and I was watching hangover too this weekend.
00:48:20The whole idea of Alan hating Teddy because he's infiltrating the trip is so fucking funny.
00:48:27Where they visit out and they bring in.
00:48:29He's done with his food.
00:48:30He just goes mother or your smoothie now.
00:48:33I thought like Galifianakis was seriously going to be like the biggest movie star.
00:48:37I thought three had some funny parts though.
00:48:39Three had some funny parts.
00:48:40He's like, what's wrong with these chickens?
00:48:42It's like they love cocaine.
00:48:44For the third movie, that stupid of a movie was really good.
00:48:49Yeah.
00:48:49If you take it with all the other ones.
00:48:52Galifianakis had a couple other good, like due date got shit on.
00:48:55I thought due date was pretty funny.
00:48:56Due date is great.
00:48:56Due date got shit on?
00:48:58Oh, I liked it.
00:48:59I don't love it.
00:49:00People are obsessed with it.
00:49:01The campaign he was in with Will Ferrell.
00:49:04All that honestly would be up there for me.
00:49:06The campaign is really good.
00:49:07What's the one with Paul Rudd?
00:49:08Dinner for Schmucks.
00:49:09I think he was funny in that.
00:49:10Dinner for Schmucks is funny.
00:49:12I like Dinner for Schmucks as well, yeah.
00:49:14There's a scene where Steve Carell, he's just like depressed in that movie.
00:49:19And you would think he walks out to look over a lake, but he walks knee deep into the lake.
00:49:25Just like look out at it.
00:49:26It's so funny.
00:49:26He's funny in that.
00:49:28So the hangover is going to move on comfortably.
00:49:30Now we have the three seed versus the 14th.
00:49:32Three seed.
00:49:33You want to talk about cultural lexicon.
00:49:34This might be the number one out of the entirety of all of them.
00:49:37And it's Borat.
00:49:39You want to talk about cultural.
00:49:42No movie, I think, has ever been quoted more in schools.
00:49:45Not.
00:49:45In history.
00:49:46Not, yeah.
00:49:47Borat.
00:49:49This is my name.
00:49:49Ahulyon Tuliagba.
00:49:50He is asshole.
00:49:51Holy shit.
00:49:55The dance, like all that shit, dude.
00:49:57It's crazy.
00:49:58Borat, we went to see in the theaters in college.
00:50:00It was fucking unbelievable.
00:50:01That's going up against the number 14 seed, Wedding Crashers.
00:50:04A really, another really, really tough one.
00:50:08This is going to be a real tough matchup.
00:50:10So start with you, Marty.
00:50:13Staying true to myself, my roommate, one of my best friends loved Borat,
00:50:19and I refused to watch it.
00:50:20I've never watched it.
00:50:21Really?
00:50:22Never seen Borat.
00:50:23It is really fucking funny.
00:50:25You should watch it.
00:50:25It's amazing.
00:50:26I heard it's amazing, obviously.
00:50:27What, he just quoted it too much?
00:50:29He quoted it nonstop, and I was like, you know what?
00:50:31I'm not watching it.
00:50:31That was me with the Cat Williams special.
00:50:33I was an alien on the Cat Williams special, and everybody just kept doing every line.
00:50:38Like, why are you talking to me?
00:50:39Like, it was like, all right.
00:50:40And I'm like, you know what?
00:50:41I'm not watching it.
00:50:42He kept saying, very nice, all the time.
00:50:43Did you ever see it?
00:50:44I'm like, nope, but I heard it.
00:50:45Like, what do you mean?
00:50:45I'm like, don't worry about it.
00:50:47Yeah, like, I know everything about Borat.
00:50:49I know the sayings.
00:50:50I've seen the clips, but I just have never seen the full movie.
00:50:53Um, but I also love Wedding Crashers.
00:50:56Like, that's just such a good idea of how, and the way they executed it.
00:51:01That's a fantastic movie.
00:51:04That's a 14 scene.
00:51:04I rule you should abstain, though, correct?
00:51:06No, no, I'm Wedding Crashers.
00:51:07I think you might have.
00:51:08Nah, he loves Wedding Crashers.
00:51:09I love Wedding Crashers.
00:51:10He already loved one of them, man.
00:51:11And I also like, honestly, that Borat stuff's not my humor anyway.
00:51:15It's probably funny, but I probably like it.
00:51:18I probably like it, but it's usually not.
00:51:21Uh, Robbie Fox.
00:51:22This is tough.
00:51:24I really like Wedding Crashers, but I think I got to go Borat.
00:51:28I remember I used to, like, when my brother still lived at home with my mom.
00:51:32We all lived at home.
00:51:32I would have, like, sleepovers in my brother's room where it would be like,
00:51:35if I slept over, he'd get to watch a rated R movie.
00:51:38He showed me The Matrix for the first time.
00:51:39He showed me Die Hard for the first time.
00:51:40And when I got old enough, it was like, all right, let me show you Borat.
00:51:44And I had heard so much about it from everyone in my family that I was like,
00:51:48this is a moment.
00:51:49And it, like, I was crying, laughing the entire runtime.
00:51:53There's the scene where they go and, like, stay with the Jewish family.
00:51:56And they're terrified of them.
00:51:57And then the bug crawls in their room.
00:51:59And they're like, oh, the Jew has cleverly shapeshifted into a bug.
00:52:03Insane.
00:52:05Also, the huge, like, points for Borat is the fact that it's, like, all real shit.
00:52:09Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:52:10Like, crazy.
00:52:11I didn't know that.
00:52:12Like, Borat, like, when he goes to these families, like, they don't know.
00:52:15Like, they think he's a Kazakhstan documentary.
00:52:18It's not, like, a fully scripted movie.
00:52:20Oh, I thought it was a fully scripted movie.
00:52:21No, that, which is, like, major points for it to be that funny, like, on the fly.
00:52:25There's, like, four or five scripted scenes in the movie.
00:52:28Like, everything with Pamela Anderson in the movie.
00:52:29Right, right, right.
00:52:30But, like, the fact that, yeah, a lot of it's, like, impractical Joker style.
00:52:34Like, hidden.
00:52:34It's wild.
00:52:35It's crazy.
00:52:35Was he in?
00:52:36I don't know anything about that guy.
00:52:38Sasha Baron Cohen?
00:52:39Dictator.
00:52:40Dictator.
00:52:40Bruno.
00:52:41Yeah.
00:52:42What was his old show?
00:52:43Oli G show, yeah.
00:52:44Oli G's my favorite character he had.
00:52:46Oli G was, that was one, that was my introduction to Sasha Baron Cohen.
00:52:49And it was still, like, he was this British guy.
00:52:52And I was young enough.
00:52:52I was like, I don't, is he a character?
00:52:54Like, do the people he's interviewing, do they get it?
00:52:57It was one of those, like, it was, like, opened up a whole new genre to me.
00:53:01Which I'm kind of, like, well, I guess this is actually, this turned you on to it.
00:53:05But I'm not typically a fan of that.
00:53:09Like, the hidden camera, like.
00:53:10Yeah.
00:53:10Oh, no, I'm not.
00:53:11Like, that actually, like, freaks me out.
00:53:13Like, I think I prefer that.
00:53:15When everyone knows the joke.
00:53:16And like, it's scripted.
00:53:18That's my favorite kind.
00:53:19But the Borat was different.
00:53:23Borat still, it's still got me.
00:53:26Even though it's not my typical.
00:53:27He's drying his balls off with the fucking hairdryer.
00:53:29And he's like.
00:53:30I thought that the naked throwing 100 the whole time.
00:53:34He's chasing the chickens.
00:53:36Borat, as good as Wedding Crashers was, like, he's throwing a hundo.
00:53:39And you just can't hit it.
00:53:41Right now we're one to one.
00:53:42Glennie.
00:53:43I feel the same way as Marty on kind of his fights.
00:53:46I'm not really my style.
00:53:47I've seen it a few times.
00:53:48It's obviously funny.
00:53:48But Wedding Crashers is up there with me for, like, the best.
00:53:51What is it?
00:53:51Frat Pack movies.
00:53:52I mean, like Vince Vaughn.
00:53:54I never heard that.
00:53:54I like that.
00:53:55Vince Vaughn, Owen Wilson, Paul Rudd, all those jazz.
00:53:57But I'm thinking about, I mean, right off the top of my head.
00:53:59For me, Wedding Crashers ages like fine wine.
00:54:01I didn't really like it growing up.
00:54:02Now I like it a lot more.
00:54:04I used to think it got a little slow once they get to the house.
00:54:06Because the first 20 minutes is just insane when they're going to the wedding.
00:54:10It's fucking awesome.
00:54:11And they're just mixing up with all the different cultures at the wedding.
00:54:14They're playing Shout.
00:54:15And the boobies coming out.
00:54:17Then he said Jabroni.
00:54:19Then there's so many wedding quotes immediately.
00:54:22Like when he's trying to talk about the Yankees.
00:54:25And Vince Vaughn is just so fucking funny.
00:54:27Then once they get to the house, you got all Vince Vaughn.
00:54:28I like when Vince wants to eat the cake.
00:54:30No, you got to get a little more.
00:54:34Are they built for speed or comfort?
00:54:36That painting was a gift, Todd.
00:54:37Then the one thing I always think about, which I didn't see Wedding Crashers in the theater.
00:54:40I was, like, eight years old.
00:54:41But I always read this.
00:54:43They somehow kept in the wraps that Will Ferrell was in it.
00:54:45And then to not know that cameo was coming.
00:54:47Then that character.
00:54:49I mean, it's Hall of Fame stuff.
00:54:50That was like an Avengers cameo.
00:54:52It's Hall of Fame.
00:54:53In the basement with the nunchucks.
00:54:54It's Hall of Fame stuff.
00:54:55You didn't realize that was a nunchuck to you.
00:54:57It's one of my favorite Christopher Walken roles.
00:54:59I think he's so funny.
00:55:00Yeah.
00:55:00It's crap.
00:55:02One grandma.
00:55:02Generations of large family breeding.
00:55:06Also, Isla Fisher's great.
00:55:07That's an amazing guest.
00:55:08Very good in that.
00:55:08I'm probably due for a rewatch of Wedding Crashers.
00:55:12It's been a while.
00:55:12I think I maybe have only seen it once.
00:55:14But I got to go Borat.
00:55:16Borat got a little soured for me because I fucking hated Borat 2.
00:55:19I thought Borat 2 sucked.
00:55:21But Borat, the quotability of it.
00:55:26I do like the fact that it's hidden cameras.
00:55:29I think that makes it so much more impressive.
00:55:31Does it make it more impressive, honestly?
00:55:34Yeah.
00:55:35You could script a funny thing in the world, but to blend it.
00:55:38Nothing's as funny as raw reactions.
00:55:40I think it's harder to script something funny than to just surprise someone that doesn't
00:55:45know they're on a show.
00:55:46We're practical jokers, guys, though.
00:55:47I know.
00:55:47I forgot.
00:55:48I forgot.
00:55:48I agree with you.
00:55:50But when I watch it, I'm like, well, they just did it with 50 different people.
00:55:54Yeah.
00:55:54And this is the one.
00:55:55This is the best one.
00:55:59It's just a difference.
00:55:59I would say it's more impressive maybe for the actor himself.
00:56:03Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:56:04As opposed to just knowing the lines, having to improv, and yeah, to stay in character.
00:56:08Your every take needs to be perfect.
00:56:09Right.
00:56:09That could be the take where they get the best reaction.
00:56:11Yeah, I get both sides.
00:56:13Yeah, I'm going to go.
00:56:14They shot all those things 50 times.
00:56:16No, no, no, no, no, no.
00:56:17But I'm just saying, like, erratically.
00:56:19Some they did.
00:56:20Like, some they probably shot, like, 10 different ways.
00:56:22Like, I know when they get in the RV with the kids, with the University of Southern
00:56:28Carolina kids, they were like, all those kids were just shit facing.
00:56:31I think they ended up suing the movie because they were like, we were drunk when we signed
00:56:34that contract.
00:56:35You got us drunk.
00:56:37And I'm always like, that kind of cheapens it a little bit.
00:56:40I don't know.
00:56:41Whatever.
00:56:41But I really liked Borat.
00:56:43But I also think you can watch Borat, as many people probably did, not knowing that's how
00:56:48it was shot.
00:56:48And it would still be, like, very fun.
00:56:50Yeah.
00:56:51So yeah, I'm going Borat.
00:56:53Two to two.
00:56:54Fights?
00:56:56This is another one I shouldn't overthink.
00:56:58I'm not gonna.
00:56:58So I'm just going to tell you Wedding Crashers.
00:57:00But I did see Borat.
00:57:02If I had to give her guessing opening dates, Borat came out November 06.
00:57:07Fall 06 for sure, because I saw it in Burlington, Vermont.
00:57:10Came back from college.
00:57:11I would say 06.
00:57:12Yeah.
00:57:12And it was a...
00:57:14November 2006.
00:57:15November 3rd.
00:57:16Nice.
00:57:17The...
00:57:17It was Wedding Crashers, then.
00:57:18Wedding Crashers was, hold on, was 04, I believe.
00:57:22Yeah.
00:57:22I want to say, like, June 04?
00:57:26Not 04.
00:57:2705.
00:57:28July 20, 2005.
00:57:31That was the least impressive of all these.
00:57:33Not 10, not 10.
00:57:34Rico is the worst.
00:57:36Like, he had no idea.
00:57:40I saw it in a theater.
00:57:41I was at St. Mike's at the time.
00:57:43And I saw it in a packed theater.
00:57:44And it was raucous.
00:57:46Like, everyone was just...
00:57:47Which one?
00:57:48Borat.
00:57:48Borat.
00:57:49It was really, really, really funny.
00:57:51It did, like, open up a new genre to me, where I was like, oh, that stuff can be funny.
00:57:56I'm probably...
00:57:58I think I've already said this once.
00:57:59I'll say it again.
00:58:00I think I'm gonna rewatch that tonight.
00:58:01Because I think I...
00:58:02Borat?
00:58:02That one, I've probably only seen that one.
00:58:04That's probably in my 3 to 5 range.
00:58:06I think tonight's gonna be a Borat night.
00:58:08So right now, we are 3 to 2 in favor of Wedding Crashers over Borat.
00:58:11Yeah.
00:58:11I'm gonna tie it up.
00:58:12I saw both of these movies.
00:58:14I saw both of them in theaters.
00:58:15I fucking stood for Wedding Crashers.
00:58:17They overbooked the theater.
00:58:18I stood for the fucking movie.
00:58:21That's how much you had to see this movie.
00:58:24You had to see Wedding Crashers when it was coming out.
00:58:26Such hype.
00:58:27Will Ferrell, I guess nobody knew.
00:58:28You're right.
00:58:29Nobody knew it was coming out.
00:58:30But Borat was just...
00:58:31It was different.
00:58:32It was like watching a different movie and a different type of comedy.
00:58:36I think Borat, just for the significance, like Borat.
00:58:38It's Borat.
00:58:39And Wedding Crashers, I love.
00:58:41But it's Borat.
00:58:42All right.
00:58:42So we're tied up.
00:58:44Is Stanko still in the room?
00:58:45Or is Stanko gonna leave for the meeting?
00:58:46Still Stanko?
00:58:47So it's up to you guys.
00:58:48Is it David and me in there?
00:58:50Oh, these are young wings.
00:58:53I also judged Morse.
00:58:53Borat!
00:58:54Borat from the crew!
00:58:55Pulling it full up.
00:58:56We got Borat.
00:58:57He's gonna get the winning vote and move on.
00:58:59You know what I say about that?
00:59:01They're nice.
00:59:02Yeah, yeah, yeah.
00:59:05Borat's gonna move on.
00:59:05Now we have...
00:59:06Peepy touch.
00:59:08The amount of times I've heard this, I'm like, fuck this.
00:59:12I don't think you're ever gonna get it, like, organically.
00:59:14You gotta watch.
00:59:15You gotta watch.
00:59:16No, but I think he's powered on it.
00:59:17I need some time.
00:59:18I need now, like, more time.
00:59:20Yeah.
00:59:21We just, like, reset the calendar.
00:59:24Since Marty's heard of Borat.
00:59:26Now we have the 7th seed versus the 10th seed.
00:59:28The 7th seed is 40-Year-Old Virgin.
00:59:30Another one.
00:59:31Lots of play.
00:59:32Tons and tons of play.
00:59:33And that's going up against number 10 seed.
00:59:34Another very super quotable one with Steve Carell in it.
00:59:37Anchorman.
00:59:38Anchorman.
00:59:39Another one that got quoted up.
00:59:41Shit.
00:59:41I'll let you know if there's one movie not in this, I will never do the bracket again.
00:59:45There's...
00:59:46Well, you might have missed some in the beginning.
00:59:48You missed a whole...
00:59:49I think you might have...
00:59:49Missed the full first half.
00:59:50One that you're talking about get mentioned.
00:59:52Not That's My Boy.
00:59:53No, not that one.
00:59:54That's My Boy not make any of the lists.
00:59:56What is it, Marty?
00:59:57The Other Guys.
00:59:58Okay, so...
00:59:58That's gonna be on.
00:59:59Wait for that.
01:00:00Making sure, because I would have never done it again.
01:00:03So, 40-Year-Old Virgin versus Anchorman.
01:00:05Starting with you, Rico.
01:00:07Tough, tough, tough, tough, tough.
01:00:08Very tough.
01:00:09Ah, you guys are overthinking it.
01:00:10This is easy.
01:00:10I think this is easy.
01:00:12Really?
01:00:12Yeah.
01:00:13I don't even know which...
01:00:13I think it's a blowout.
01:00:15I think it's a blowout.
01:00:15I actually...
01:00:16I think I'm going 40-Year-Old Virgin, because Will Ferrell then became Ron Burgundy.
01:00:21This Ron Burgundy character.
01:00:23And that has always irritated me.
01:00:25The movie itself is good.
01:00:27He doesn't need to play the guy everywhere.
01:00:2820 years later.
01:00:30He just did it at the Tom Brady roast.
01:00:32Where else he'd do it?
01:00:32I think he has a podcast.
01:00:34They've done a few things with it.
01:00:35Yeah, that's pretty cool.
01:00:36I mean, he definitely did add the Ron Burgundy.
01:00:38This was when Ferrell became Ferrell as a character, and it got a little sour.
01:00:42I think, on the surface, it's probably Anchorman, but I'm gonna go 40-Year-Old Virgin.
01:00:47One for 40-Year-Old Virgin.
01:00:49Yeah, this is Anchorman.
01:00:51Anchorman was...
01:00:53Anchorman was the one.
01:00:54Anchorman...
01:00:55Anchorman's gonna be tough.
01:00:56Also, I've done a rewatch of Anchorman and Anchorman 2 recently, which I think now...
01:01:01I hated when I first saw it.
01:01:02I think it's super underrated now.
01:01:04I think Anchorman 2 is still very good.
01:01:06I hated Anchorman.
01:01:07I did.
01:01:08I watched it when they started throwing out the fight in the park or whatever.
01:01:11I was like, all right.
01:01:12I thought they hated the fight.
01:01:13I know, but for some reason, it doesn't feel as ridiculous at all.
01:01:17I thought the fight at the end of Anchorman 2, we're like,
01:01:20is that the ghost of Stonewall Jackson?
01:01:22I thought that's so funny.
01:01:24I think the fact that it's like Kanye and Drake kind of takes you out a little bit.
01:01:29But yeah, Anchorman 1 is the one.
01:01:32Anchorman 1.
01:01:331 to 1 right now.
01:01:34Yeah, it's Anchorman.
01:01:36Little 40-Year-Old Virgin stories.
01:01:37We're sharing nuggets.
01:01:38I was watching an interview with Judd Apatow, and he said his favorite...
01:01:42I think he said his favorite scene he's ever written was just the opening of 40-Year-Old
01:01:45Virgin when he's struggling to pee with the boner.
01:01:47He was like, I just think it's such a relatable thing.
01:01:49It is great.
01:01:50The bags of sand is obviously great.
01:01:53But yeah, Anchorman.
01:01:54I think Kevin Hart in the fucking video store.
01:01:56Yeah, that is a great scene.
01:01:58That's the one where he flips out about fucking,
01:02:00if I got to watch this Michael Bolton thing or Michael McDonald one more time.
01:02:03He's in big words, so I'm going to take him as disrespect.
01:02:06You know how I know you're gay?
01:02:07That whole back and forth.
01:02:08Rod and Rogan, yeah.
01:02:09I think if I had to pick a character that's made me laugh the most in any movie,
01:02:14it might be Brooke Tamlin.
01:02:15Might be Steve Carell in Anchorman.
01:02:17It's so...
01:02:18I love Lamp.
01:02:18I mean, all the just random things he would say.
01:02:21Again, it gets a little sour because I didn't love Anchorman too.
01:02:23I also don't love the end of Anchorman.
01:02:26I just realized I don't...
01:02:26Anchorman turns into a little bit of a rom-com.
01:02:29I realized I don't like the conflict stages of comedies.
01:02:33Like, I wish they could just be funny the whole time.
01:02:35Like, I don't like at the end, like when they get a little serious.
01:02:38I sort of agree with that.
01:02:39Just keep being fucking funny.
01:02:40I don't need a plot.
01:02:41I do hate waiting for the conflict.
01:02:43Yeah.
01:02:44I know it's coming, just get over it.
01:02:45It's like, it's going to get a little less funny.
01:02:47It's like, I don't really care for that.
01:02:49I didn't love how they did it in Anchorman.
01:02:53Like, I don't know, when he goes off on his own.
01:02:55Yeah.
01:02:55Like, I don't care for that.
01:02:56Once I've seen the movie, I'll probably, I'll...
01:02:58Not all the time, but I will stop watching once he has the conflict.
01:03:01Yeah.
01:03:01Alright, I'll put it at that.
01:03:02The conflict is overrated.
01:03:05So, but I'll still go with Anchorman.
01:03:06Two for Anchorman, one for 40-Year-Old Virgin.
01:03:08I'm not really the biggest fan of any of these movies.
01:03:10I'm going to go Anchorman, I guess.
01:03:12You're disgusting.
01:03:13Wow.
01:03:13Yeah, yeah.
01:03:14Glennie is genuinely offended.
01:03:16I think, what scene are these?
01:03:197 and 10?
01:03:20This is 7, 10.
01:03:20Old School is better than both of these.
01:03:22Oh, yeah.
01:03:23Facts.
01:03:23I'm not even in a debate.
01:03:24I disagree.
01:03:25Alright.
01:03:25What if we do this?
01:03:26I think Anchorman is better than Old School.
01:03:26I think both of these are better than Old School.
01:03:28Yeah.
01:03:29Rico's is trying to change the game.
01:03:32Let's take the one we didn't like there and put it in.
01:03:34Old School versus both of these.
01:03:36Do you take Old School?
01:03:37Anchorman.
01:03:38I think Anchorman.
01:03:38You take Anchorman, you're on Old School, got two votes.
01:03:40I'm just not an Anchorman guy or a 40-Year-Old Virgin.
01:03:43Is that mine?
01:03:44Anchorman.
01:03:44That you're drinking?
01:03:45No, I ordered one, Deester.
01:03:46You sure?
01:03:47Positive.
01:03:48You left that right there.
01:03:49You want to see my Uber?
01:03:50There's a Wendy's Coke left right there.
01:03:52That exactly.
01:03:52Dr. Pepper.
01:03:53Okay.
01:03:53That's fair.
01:03:54Rob Fox could be wrong.
01:03:56I'm not a huge Anchorman guy, but I also haven't seen it in so long.
01:03:59I remember it actually scarred me seeing it in theaters.
01:04:02Another movie that my brother shouldn't have taken me to.
01:04:04I was like six.
01:04:05But when Jack Black kicks the dog.
01:04:06Oh, yeah.
01:04:07I really didn't like that or find it funny at all.
01:04:09I was like...
01:04:11I thought it was really fucking funny.
01:04:12Now watching it, of course, it's like the fakest dog of all time.
01:04:14So it's very funny.
01:04:15But I was just like, oh, yeah, that movie wasn't funny.
01:04:18That had a disturbing ending.
01:04:19I really didn't like that.
01:04:20I love The 40-Year-Old Virgin.
01:04:22And I find it super rewatchable.
01:04:24I mean, I'm a nerd.
01:04:26So the scenes with him in his apartment with the action figures and the mint condition,
01:04:29all that shit.
01:04:30Hysterical.
01:04:30What was really funny was the scene where he takes the daughter to sex ed.
01:04:34And the little kid's like, yeah, I fucked so many girls.
01:04:36And he's like, you go to Temple, John.
01:04:38The dating scene is so funny where the girl's boob falls out of her shirt.
01:04:43The ending is so funny.
01:04:45Finally has sex.
01:04:46Spoilers.
01:04:47So we're three to two in favor of Anchorman.
01:04:51Anchorman.
01:04:53The 40-Year-Old Virgin's funny.
01:04:56I think it's funny.
01:04:57I don't think I'm like dying laughing at it all the time.
01:05:00We're talking iconic trailers.
01:05:01Him getting his waxed chest waxed.
01:05:03Like sticks.
01:05:04Kelly Clarkson.
01:05:05Kelly Clarkson, yeah.
01:05:06Yep.
01:05:07So Anchorman's move on.
01:05:08Now we're going to do our second chain game to go up against our number two seed.
01:05:10The options are Pineapple Express.
01:05:13Very funny movie.
01:05:14Never seen it.
01:05:14Super Troopers, which is a little too indie.
01:05:17Talladega Nights.
01:05:19I Love You, Man.
01:05:21Very funny.
01:05:21We talked about it a little before, Rob Fox.
01:05:23Pop Star, Never Stop Popping, which you talked about, which is very funny, but not all people
01:05:26have seen it.
01:05:26Very funny.
01:05:28Walk Hard.
01:05:29The Dewey Cox Story.
01:05:31The Nice Guys.
01:05:33And Zoolander.
01:05:34Fuck.
01:05:35So to run them through again.
01:05:36And Marty, you're going to start first on this chain game.
01:05:38Have we said the two seed yet?
01:05:39We haven't said it yet.
01:05:40It's going to be the other guys.
01:05:41It's the other guys.
01:05:43Pineapple Express.
01:05:44Smoked.
01:05:44Pineapple Express.
01:05:46Super Troopers.
01:05:46Talladega Nights.
01:05:47I Love You, Man.
01:05:48Pop Star.
01:05:49Never seen the other.
01:05:50I've seen the other.
01:05:51Is this a bit?
01:05:52Not a bit.
01:05:52It's the best movie of all time.
01:05:54Yeah.
01:05:54Who is it again?
01:05:55It's Will Ferrell and who?
01:05:56We'll talk about when it comes up.
01:05:57All right.
01:05:58Mendez.
01:05:58Yeah, save it when we get there.
01:06:01So again, Pineapple Express.
01:06:02Super Troopers.
01:06:03Talladega Nights.
01:06:03I Love You, Man.
01:06:04Pop Star.
01:06:05Walk Hard.
01:06:06The Nice Guys or Zoolander.
01:06:07Talladega Nights.
01:06:08Talladega Nights gets it.
01:06:09I love Talladega Nights.
01:06:10It's so...
01:06:12The kids in that are so funny.
01:06:14Spider monkey.
01:06:16Drinking Mountain Dew all the time.
01:06:17I'm tough on Mountain Dew.
01:06:19They're so funny and it's just so ridiculous.
01:06:22I really am interested in him becoming the best NASCAR driver.
01:06:27Good Sacha Baron Cohen role too.
01:06:29Yeah.
01:06:30The villain is so fucking funny.
01:06:32Really thin pancakes.
01:06:35One for Talladega Nights, Bob.
01:06:36This is between Talladega Nights and I Love You, Man for me.
01:06:39They're truly two of my favorite comedies.
01:06:41I think I'm going to lean.
01:06:43I Love You, Man though.
01:06:44The Lou Ferrigno subplot in that movie.
01:06:46The Rush subplot in that movie.
01:06:49I just love Paul Rudd too.
01:06:51Paul Rudd's one of my favorite actors.
01:06:52I'll go I Love You, Man.
01:06:53I Love You, Man.
01:06:54This is by far Pineapple Express for me.
01:06:57I thought we were saying earlier,
01:06:58I think when he's in a comedic role,
01:06:59James Franco is one of the funniest people out there.
01:07:02Respectfully, James Franco.
01:07:04And as I previously said, Danny McBride,
01:07:06I think is the funniest guy on the planet.
01:07:08And Red, I mean...
01:07:09Red's really good.
01:07:10I mean, Red is...
01:07:12One of the best fight scenes in any comedy.
01:07:13I mean, Red is just...
01:07:15I think he's almost as funny as Danny McBride himself
01:07:17in This is the End.
01:07:18Yeah.
01:07:18Respectfully, he won't die in that movie.
01:07:21It's such a good bit.
01:07:22So funny.
01:07:23I used to use the beginning of that movie
01:07:24with Bill Hader so good too.
01:07:25It's just so funny.
01:07:26I mean, Craig Robertson's fucking awesome in it.
01:07:28I love Pineapple Express.
01:07:31I haven't seen Pineapple Express.
01:07:32It's just one of those that slipped through the cracks.
01:07:35I've seen parts of it at a friend's house.
01:07:37I've never watched it in full.
01:07:38And I just really hate stoner humor.
01:07:42And I guess it's probably not that the whole movie,
01:07:44but I've just kind of been like,
01:07:45you know, I don't want to fucking watch
01:07:46these potheads the whole movie.
01:07:48I like that.
01:07:49It is that the whole movie.
01:07:50It is that.
01:07:51Tom, I don't even see yours not being high.
01:07:54And I was like, nah, this ain't for me.
01:07:57I don't really love any of these options.
01:07:58I'm going to throw...
01:07:59We mentioned it before.
01:08:00I'm going to throw in The Campaign.
01:08:01The Campaign.
01:08:02Oh, I just watched that two nights ago.
01:08:04Will Ferrell, Zach Galifianakis.
01:08:05Great.
01:08:05It's a good movie.
01:08:06Can we throw in That's My Boy?
01:08:08You can throw in That's My Boy if you want.
01:08:10I'm voting for The Campaign.
01:08:11Actually, if That's My Boy versus other guys,
01:08:13I'll literally, for YouTube, K myself.
01:08:18All right, well, The Campaign and That's My Boy
01:08:20are both on the board.
01:08:21Do you guys want that?
01:08:21That's My Boy's in.
01:08:22I'm putting That's My Boy in there.
01:08:24It's worth a play in.
01:08:25It's really one of the worst movies ever made.
01:08:28This is the Adam Sandler, Andy Samberg.
01:08:30Yes.
01:08:32You don't question it.
01:08:33It's That's My Boy.
01:08:34I've seen it, but I...
01:08:35When did it...
01:08:36There's so many things that he says that is so...
01:08:40It could be a horrible movie, but it's got to be funny.
01:08:43Let's lose the time.
01:08:43It's a thing.
01:08:44Five minutes of it when it came out.
01:08:46You're a loser.
01:08:49You're rolling around saying you hate Nickelback.
01:08:51Yeah, you're a loser.
01:08:52You must hate Tom Brady then, too, then.
01:08:54No, I actually...
01:08:55You're a mess gruff.
01:08:56I kind of...
01:08:58Kind of what you're like with Will Ferrell.
01:08:59I recently got out of a phase of that with Adam Sandler,
01:09:03where I kind of just...
01:09:05With the Sandman, he had that run where it's all the Netflix movies.
01:09:08And I was kind of like, he's just doing the character.
01:09:10And I've been rewatching all of those recently, and I love them.
01:09:14So good.
01:09:15I just watched Murder Mystery and Murder Mystery 2.
01:09:18Unbelievable.
01:09:19Delightful.
01:09:19Those are the same thing.
01:09:20Those are fantastic.
01:09:21Fantastic.
01:09:22Great movie.
01:09:23Yeah, really good.
01:09:24Great movie.
01:09:25The do over is really fucking fun.
01:09:27Yeah.
01:09:29Just go with it.
01:09:30It was...
01:09:30Yeah, just go with it.
01:09:32The...
01:09:32I kind of just had that thing with Adam Sandler,
01:09:35and probably in the last three months,
01:09:37I started watching all those for the first time.
01:09:39I'm like, these are unbelievable.
01:09:40There's definitely some he could have left.
01:09:43But still...
01:09:43Jack and Julie could have not...
01:09:44Ridiculous.
01:09:45It was tough.
01:09:46Yeah.
01:09:46I actually...
01:09:46Little Nicky.
01:09:47That was bad.
01:09:48I'm switching my vote from the campaign to another movie we haven't mentioned.
01:09:50I'm a little disappointed.
01:09:51Ted.
01:09:52Oh, yeah.
01:09:53Ted's a good movie.
01:09:54Ted and Holds Up.
01:09:55I've watched that before.
01:09:57Ted definitely holds up.
01:09:58I'm voting for Ted.
01:09:59The bracket?
01:10:00Wait.
01:10:00Let's all do this together.
01:10:01So what are we doing?
01:10:02We think of Ted, That's My Boy.
01:10:04Ted, That's My Boy.
01:10:05I mean, basically, this is just pick any movie that hasn't been mentioned.
01:10:08Whichever gets the most momentum right now is going to go into...
01:10:10I'm going Ted.
01:10:11If Ted hasn't been mentioned, I'm with Ted.
01:10:12Are we with Ted?
01:10:13So we're two for...
01:10:14But That's My Boy.
01:10:14I will take Ted to...
01:10:17But That's My Boy.
01:10:18That's My Boy.
01:10:19Don't compare That's My Boy and Ted, Glennon.
01:10:22Donnie Burgess is going to use a fake name.
01:10:23You go with it.
01:10:24Can we do a group watch of That's My Boy?
01:10:26Really?
01:10:27So you guys can really...
01:10:28You have to go with a clear head.
01:10:29Yes.
01:10:30Clear head.
01:10:31We have to do it one night, and we do a full review on it.
01:10:34I have clear head not saying it's the worst movie.
01:10:37It's so dumb.
01:10:37It's so funny.
01:10:38This was on in the firehouse one day.
01:10:39I came in like, guys are pissing.
01:10:44It's so stupid.
01:10:44It's the hardest I've ever seen my father laugh in his life.
01:10:47When the fat guy wins the marathon.
01:10:49Tubby Tuk wins the marathon.
01:10:51It's even funnier.
01:10:52You ever watch...
01:10:52What's that show with the family on NBC?
01:10:56It's like, it's the...
01:10:57This is us.
01:10:58Oh, I'll give another one.
01:10:59This is us.
01:11:00Everyone loves it.
01:11:01Milo Ventimiglia.
01:11:02Who's just having incest in That's My Boy.
01:11:06It's the funniest thing.
01:11:08Incest really did it.
01:11:08I'll give another honorable mention.
01:11:10Did this make the list?
01:11:11Good Boys?
01:11:12Good Boys didn't.
01:11:12That's a more recent one.
01:11:13That's pretty funny.
01:11:14That's very funny.
01:11:15It's good.
01:11:16You just like when people aren't supposed to say what they're supposed to say.
01:11:20I thought Good Boys was funny.
01:11:21You know what?
01:11:22I'll join you guys in Ted.
01:11:23Ted?
01:11:23I'm going Ted.
01:11:24Ted?
01:11:25Ted.
01:11:26Dude, so Talladega Nights is really, really, really funny.
01:11:32Talladega Nights, I almost honorably want to vote for because I...
01:11:35If I'm going to guess when that one came out, that's Summer 06.
01:11:39Because...
01:11:40Ted?
01:11:41No, Talladega Nights.
01:11:43Five minutes he's been talking about Talladega Nights.
01:11:46August 4th, 2006.
01:11:47Ted was...
01:11:47Hold on.
01:11:49Give me a second.
01:11:51The December of 06, I had an appendectomy.
01:11:55And my buddy came over and watched Talladega Nights.
01:11:59And we had to turn it off because I ripped a stitch in my appendectomy scar.
01:12:04And I couldn't keep watching the movie.
01:12:06Oh my God.
01:12:07But then I want to say The Nice Guys because I feel like Gosling needs a little play on here.
01:12:10And The Nice Guys is an unbelievable movie.
01:12:13It probably is.
01:12:14Better movie than comedy probably.
01:12:15Yeah, that's the problem.
01:12:16It's too good.
01:12:19But if we're doing Ted, I'm gonna...
01:12:21We gotta add one more.
01:12:22I believe Ted was June 29th, 2012.
01:12:25Glenn needs to add one more.
01:12:26June 29th, 2012.
01:12:31I went to the Subaru dealer with my mom and cousin Gabby that day.
01:12:35And then we went to go see Ted.
01:12:36And the next day I went to the Yankee game and Hiroki Kuroda pitched against a White Sox.
01:12:44We did just converse down here.
01:12:45I gotta throw one more in the mix.
01:12:47Semi-pro.
01:12:48Ooh, yeah, that's tough for this.
01:12:49It's not on the level of a lot of these, I think.
01:12:52But I just want to throw semi-pro out there.
01:12:54I feel like that Will Ferrell era, that was kind of his mid.
01:12:57Oh, no, no.
01:12:58I love semi-pro.
01:13:00Let's stick to Ted.
01:13:01I would vote that's my boy.
01:13:02I think Ted's gonna win that one.
01:13:02Fighting a bear at halftime's funny, Bob.
01:13:04It was funny, but like...
01:13:05Very good.
01:13:06He's making some class.
01:13:08I don't know, but I know he pitched great.
01:13:09He might have had 11 or 13.
01:13:10He had 11 strikeouts.
01:13:12He pitched on Rosa like eight innings?
01:13:14What's the final score?
01:13:15It's like 3-1.
01:13:164-0, 4-0.
01:13:17Yeah, it was a gem by Hiroki.
01:13:21That was an incredible equalance.
01:13:24Same.
01:13:24But are we agreeing, Ted going in against...
01:13:27Yeah, just put Ted in.
01:13:28That's fine.
01:13:28So Ted versus the other guys.
01:13:30Wahlberg, Bob.
01:13:30Yeah, so Wahlberg off.
01:13:31Yeah.
01:13:32I got to abstain.
01:13:33I've seen Ted maybe once or twice, but I'd never seen the other guys.
01:13:36Never seen the other guys?
01:13:37I've seen it.
01:13:37That's unbelievable.
01:13:38Swear to God, if it gets...
01:13:40I will lose my mind.
01:13:42Ted's great.
01:13:43Giovanni Urbisi's unbelievable in it.
01:13:45It's the other guys.
01:13:46The other guys a million times.
01:13:47Ted is another movie where I hate the conflict.
01:13:49I hate when the creepy guy's stealing the bear.
01:13:51It's like, come on, let Ted keep being Ted.
01:13:54It is weird, but for some reason, that conflict, I like it.
01:13:57Me and my buddy used to do it when we lived together in Boston,
01:14:00and we would just try and beat the other person to the living room
01:14:05and do the Giovanni Urbisi dance.
01:14:08I think when he's got the juice box.
01:14:09The Sons of the Lambs song.
01:14:11We'd want to be like, what are you doing, dude?
01:14:14Oh, that's awesome.
01:14:16I like the fellows moment right there.
01:14:18I might start doing that with Ria.
01:14:24Tommy?
01:14:24Yeah, it's the other guys.
01:14:25I mean, the plot of him being married to Eva Mendes,
01:14:27Mark Wahlberg not being able to believe it,
01:14:30Arnie, follow me, alert.
01:14:32Oh my God.
01:14:33I went to high school with this kid who could recite
01:14:35the entire Tuna vs. Lion movie scene,
01:14:38and we didn't like him that much other than that,
01:14:41but we were like, once a week, we'd be like,
01:14:43do the Tuna vs. Lion scene right now.
01:14:45You need a friendly group like that.
01:14:47Aim for the Bushes, too.
01:14:51Like, that is an opening sequence.
01:14:53Start off a movie like that with the Foo Fighters
01:14:55in the background.
01:14:56There wasn't even any Bushes.
01:14:57They just jumped to nine stories.
01:15:02I got to say, I did not know the other guys
01:15:03was like this highly regarded in the realm of comedy.
01:15:06This is fucking insane.
01:15:07You're crazy.
01:15:07Ahead of wedding crashers in old school.
01:15:12I'm going Ted here by a very fair margin.
01:15:14Wow.
01:15:15I've totally forgot, Ted.
01:15:16Ted's fucking hilarious.
01:15:17I mean, we're talking about innovative movies.
01:15:19We're talking about a fucking bear that bangs hookers.
01:15:21It's an awesome movie.
01:15:22Very innovative.
01:15:24Wahlberg's hilarious.
01:15:25I mean, Seth Marfarlane, great job.
01:15:28Mila Kunis, fantastic.
01:15:30Patrick Warburn.
01:15:31He's very fit.
01:15:31Hoon Ryan Reynolds.
01:15:33My bad.
01:15:33I was sending a tweet.
01:15:34Amazing quote.
01:15:36I quote that all the time.
01:15:38That's as iconic as it gets.
01:15:39Yeah, so funny.
01:15:40I'm going Ted.
01:15:42Oh man.
01:15:42It's my buddy, Johnny.
01:15:44The guy running it.
01:15:47Three to one in favor of the other guys.
01:15:48Easy, easy Ted vote for me.
01:15:50Oh, I love the other guys.
01:15:52But Ted, one of my favorite comedies ever.
01:15:54I love Ted too, as well.
01:15:55I think both movies are so funny.
01:15:56Star Wars moment.
01:15:57It was such funny moments throughout both of them.
01:16:01The Thunder Buddy scene, the scene in two where he gets
01:16:03covered in cum at this sperm donation spot.
01:16:07So good.
01:16:08So good.
01:16:08I love Ted.
01:16:08Big time trailer movie too.
01:16:10Yes.
01:16:10That trailer was like, whoa.
01:16:12Unbelievably good series based on what I thought it would be.
01:16:15Seeing the trailer, I was kind of like, oh no.
01:16:17Like, is Ted going to-
01:16:18The Peacock Show?
01:16:19Yeah.
01:16:19I was like, is Ted going to become cheesy and kind of like PG?
01:16:24And the show was awesome.
01:16:25I got to watch it.
01:16:26I got to add that to my things to watch.
01:16:27I watched the first episode and forgot to watch it.
01:16:29The Other Guys.
01:16:30The Other Guys is the best comedy.
01:16:32It's my favorite comedy.
01:16:34You will not catch me in my-
01:16:36Anytime I see any of my friends from college, we have to say,
01:16:40how's your wife?
01:16:41She's dead.
01:16:41Atta boy.
01:16:42Yeah.
01:16:43That was Zach Woods.
01:16:44One of the most smallest lines in there when he's just walking.
01:16:47How's your wife?
01:16:48She's dead.
01:16:48Atta boy.
01:16:50It was so funny.
01:16:52And that was fucking Zach Woods, that character.
01:16:54Yeah.
01:16:54Yeah.
01:16:55Dude, and Michael Keaton.
01:16:56Keaton, dude.
01:16:57Keaton's bisexual, son.
01:16:58I actually, just last night, I realized I have a real Keaton thing.
01:17:03I don't know what it is.
01:17:05Like, very, very regularly, one of my going to bed shows will either be Dopesick,
01:17:14Worth, or Spotlight.
01:17:18And I-
01:17:19Dark movies.
01:17:20Three shows to go to sleep.
01:17:20Really dark bedtime stuff.
01:17:24I just love Michael Keaton.
01:17:26And I realized it last night, I think you, I believe it was you, it was One Ox Goes Away.
01:17:31I loved it.
01:17:32I thought it was so boring.
01:17:33You sound like Batman, John.
01:17:34I've never seen the Batman.
01:17:35I'm mixing a Batman.
01:17:37Founder, I thought-
01:17:38I do love the founder.
01:17:39Yeah.
01:17:39If we're on the topic of Michael Keaton, I have to bring this up.
01:17:42Nobody has ever agreed with me, but I know that it's true.
01:17:46Michael Keaton and A-Rod look alike a little bit.
01:17:49There's some-
01:17:49A little bit, yeah.
01:17:50There's something in the eyebrows and like the eyes.
01:17:53There is something very similar with the eyes and the eyebrows.
01:17:57I just, there's something there.
01:17:59Also-
01:18:00I don't think he's wrong.
01:18:00I'm talking about cameos.
01:18:03He shot Derek Jeter.
01:18:04Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:18:05And then them sitting in the, like talking about when they shoot their guns,
01:18:09you should have shot A-Rod.
01:18:10That's just so-
01:18:11It's historically inaccurate because the Yankees never played a game seven at home with Derek Jeter.
01:18:16Of course.
01:18:18God, I hated that.
01:18:20He's been doing this a lot-
01:18:22Historically inaccurate.
01:18:22I don't like that.
01:18:23I also respect the other guys, Dirty Mike and the Boys.
01:18:25Dirty Mike and the Boys?
01:18:26Dirty Mike and the Boys, oh my-
01:18:27Director of the movie.
01:18:28Thanks for the fuck, Shaq.
01:18:31Thanks for the F, Shaq.
01:18:32I'm Dirty Mike and the Boys.
01:18:33Rob Hubel, like describing everything they did in his car.
01:18:36They call it a soup kitchen.
01:18:37They all fuck in the back of the car.
01:18:38Why do they keep doing that?

01:19:38All right, playoffs.
01:19:39First matchup, Step Brothers versus Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
01:19:45Rico.
01:19:46Step Brothers against Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
01:19:49I'd say Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
01:19:51Over Step Brothers?
01:19:52One for Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
01:19:56I think it's going to start getting hard now, but
01:20:01I am gonna go Step Brothers.
01:20:04One for Step Brothers.
01:20:05Going Step Brothers comfortably.
01:20:06I think Forgetting Sarah Marshall, yeah, maybe it's better with like whatever the plot,
01:20:11but Step Brothers is so fucking funny.
01:20:13Two for Step Brothers.
01:20:14Easy Step Brothers.
01:20:15Forgetting Sarah Marshall.
01:20:16Really?
01:20:16Easy Step Brothers.
01:20:17Oh, yeah.
01:20:18I think it's not even close.
01:20:19Really easy Step Brothers for me.
01:20:21Yeah.
01:20:21Step Brothers is so good.
01:20:23No, but Step Brothers, we haven't even mentioned Catherine Hahn and Step Brothers.
01:20:28He's so fucking funny.
01:20:29And Adam Scott.
01:20:30Adam Scott.
01:20:30Adam Scott is so funny.
01:20:31Their kids are so funny in that movie.
01:20:33What does he say when he wants to come to the car?
01:20:34He's like, yeah, 20 minutes.
01:20:35In Cook, pay-per-view, 20 minutes.
01:20:40Aren't they the ones that star, like, why are you sweating?
01:20:42I was watching Cops.
01:20:43Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:20:44Step Brothers, yeah.
01:20:45Step Brothers, right?
01:20:46Yeah.
01:20:46I'm going to eat a fish pig.
01:20:49What does he say to Adam Scott's character?
01:20:51He's like, I was doing X, Y, Z with Jeff Probst or something like.
01:20:54Yeah, the cubes was there.
01:20:55Jeff Probst.
01:20:57Super Chef Bobby Flay.
01:20:58Super Chef Bobby Flay.
01:21:00Oh, that's good.
01:21:01Maybe the best nachos I've ever looked in a movie.
01:21:04Correct me if I'm wrong.
01:21:05Forgetting Sarah Marshall, like, kind of like a, not even like a comedy.
01:21:10You were talking about that.
01:21:11You were just talking about that before, yeah.
01:21:11Romantic comedy.
01:21:12Like, it's a lot.
01:21:13That one's, I feel like, more heavy, more romantic.
01:21:15It's, but it's not.
01:21:17It also is hysterical.
01:21:18It is funny.
01:21:19It's comedy.
01:21:20He said it's the funniest romantic movie, the most romantic funny movie.
01:21:24Yeah, yeah.
01:21:25Right on the edge.
01:21:26It's just different tiers.
01:21:27Yeah, yeah, yeah.
01:21:28It's levels to that.
01:21:28Step Brothers, when it came out, was like.
01:21:30Step Brothers is a comedy.
01:21:31Yeah.
01:21:32I would call Forgetting Sarah Marshall a Cameron.
01:21:34Like, there is romance.
01:21:35It's the second.
01:21:36I've never heard of the phrase Cameron.
01:21:37I like that.
01:21:37I think we just invented it.
01:21:38Because I struggle with that a lot, too.
01:21:41You really helped him out there.
01:21:44Yeah, I'm going Step Brothers.
01:21:45Step Brothers, Bob Fox, Step Brothers as well.
01:21:47Step Brothers can move on.
01:21:49Next, we have Superbad versus Dodgeball.
01:21:52This is a tough.
01:21:53Fuck.
01:21:54Superbad versus Dodgeball.
01:21:55Start with you, Marty.
01:21:58That's tough, because I really, really like Dodgeball a lot.
01:22:02I was sad when the wheelchair guy died.
01:22:05Thatches O'Houlihan.
01:22:06I was really sad.
01:22:08I'm going to go with Superbad, though.
01:22:10Isn't that Steven Root, who plays Patches?
01:22:12Who is that?
01:22:12No, it's Rip Torn.
01:22:14Rip Torn plays him, and Hank Azaria plays him in the flashback scenes.
01:22:17Also, fuck Dodgeball.
01:22:19Because when they don't.
01:22:20When they, like, who's the pirate guy was so funny.
01:22:23But, like, they're asked, like, what do you mean?
01:22:25There's a guy who's acting like a pirate?
01:22:26I had no idea he was trying to be one.
01:22:29I'm going to go with Superbad, though.
01:22:30That's a tough matchup.
01:22:31One for Superbad.
01:22:32I'm going Superbad as well.
01:22:34I love Dodgeball, but I think Superbad's, like, more iconic at this point, for sure.
01:22:38Iconic.
01:22:39Yeah, not even, yeah, come on.
01:22:41Not even worth discussing.
01:22:42Really, it's close.
01:22:42I think I'm due for a Dodgeball re-watch as well.
01:22:45Dodgeball's awesome, it's just a great movie.
01:22:47I'm a big Vince Fong guy.
01:22:48I think it's a little more, like, stupid humor, which isn't bad.
01:22:51But, yeah, I mean, Superbad, it's iconic.
01:22:54I'm a huge Justin Long guy, too.
01:22:56I feel like Justin Long should be in more comedies, because he's very funny.
01:22:58And as much as I love Vince Fong, it's not like he's, like,
01:23:00playing the classic Vince Fong character in that.
01:23:02A little different.
01:23:02Yeah.
01:23:03What happened to the, Justin Long was trying to go after the cheerleader,
01:23:06and the cheerleader's boyfriend, like, what is it?
01:23:08Something happens to him that they-
01:23:09Fell off the roller coaster.
01:23:10Roller coaster, right?
01:23:10Yeah, yeah.
01:23:11Broke all his bones.
01:23:11Boop, broke all his bones.
01:23:14Boop, he's dead.
01:23:17I said Superbad.
01:23:18Superbad?
01:23:19Uh, yeah, yeah, I got to go Superbad.
01:23:21Impossible.
01:23:22Clean sweep.
01:23:22Clean sweep.
01:23:23So, Superbad versus Stepbrothers to go into the finals.
01:23:26Oh, that's a-
01:23:27This is the uchi mama.
01:23:29This is to get into the final?
01:23:30This is to get into the finals.
01:23:31Wow.
01:23:31We did it.
01:23:32Good for us.
01:23:33This is the Miracle on Ice game.
01:23:34This is Russia versus America.
01:23:35Yeah.
01:23:36I think it's Superbad.
01:23:37You think it's-
01:23:37I don't think this is-
01:23:38I don't think this is necessarily the championship.
01:23:40Well, this is the-
01:23:41I know, but I think Robbie's saying, like-
01:23:43I think it's-
01:23:44I think it might be.
01:23:44I don't think-
01:23:45What'd you say?
01:23:45USA versus Russia?
01:23:46This might be the championship.
01:23:47Hey, a little fun fact.
01:23:49That was not the championship.
01:23:50That's the point I'm making.
01:23:51Oh, whoa, whoa, whoa.
01:23:52This is basically the championship.
01:23:53I'm saying I don't think this-
01:23:54Like Alabama and Yukon last year.
01:23:56Everybody knew that was the championship.
01:23:56Pay attention when we podcast.
01:23:57Shut up, Bob.
01:23:58I don't know about that.
01:24:00Bully.
01:24:01One for Superbad from Rico.
01:24:05I think I might go Stepbrothers.
01:24:08Wow.
01:24:09Yeah.
01:24:10It's almost kind of like what happened with the Nice Guys.
01:24:13I think Superbad is a really good movie as well.
01:24:17And I think if I'm thinking like a strict comedy,
01:24:20I kind of think it's Stepbrothers first.
01:24:21Like Superbad, that's all not true.
01:24:24But I think I'm going to go Stepbrothers.
01:24:28So are we going to title this as funniest comedy?
01:24:31Best.
01:24:33I think best or funniest would be better for this.
01:24:34I feel like we've been doing it based on-
01:24:36I think best.
01:24:37Yeah.
01:24:38I'm still going to go Stepbrothers.
01:24:39I'm with-
01:24:39Best is still funniest though.
01:24:42Superbad is great.
01:24:43I do think it's gotten to a little bit of a point where people are just like,
01:24:46they feel like they have to say it.
01:24:47It's like the best comedy of the 21st century.
01:24:50I think Stepbrothers is funnier.
01:24:52It is more dumb humor for sure, like a dodgeball.
01:24:55But it just, it's so funny.
01:24:59I'm with you.
01:25:00Stepbrothers.
01:25:01Boats and Hoes too.
01:25:01We didn't even talk about that.
01:25:02That may be each the worst, but it was so funny in the time.
01:25:05Prestige Worldwide.
01:25:06Yeah.
01:25:07So two for Stepbrothers, one for Superbad.
01:25:09Superbad easy.
01:25:11I love Stepbrothers, but Superbad's my number one.
01:25:12I mean, talking about how we didn't mention just Boats and Hoes,
01:25:14we haven't even mentioned the dick drawing scene.
01:25:16Yeah.
01:25:17We haven't even mentioned the dick drawing scene.
01:25:19That's right.
01:25:21I couldn't eat a Popsicle.
01:25:25I'm with Stepbrothers.
01:25:25You know how many foods are shaped like dicks?
01:25:27All the best foods.
01:25:29I'm going Stepbrothers.
01:25:30I've always just liked Stepbrothers more.
01:25:31I think I didn't see Superbad when it came out.
01:25:35I guess that was the one fucking movie in existence that my parents decided I was too
01:25:38young for.
01:25:39So I saw that a few years later, and I think the experience of seeing Stepbrothers in the
01:25:44theater when I was 10 was like, my world has changed.
01:25:47So right now we are three for Stepbrothers, two for Superbad.
01:25:50Marty.
01:25:51Let's throw it to the room.
01:25:53One for Superbad.
01:25:54Oh, this is big.
01:25:55This is humongous.
01:25:56He's going to go.
01:25:57David and Mia, you guys are in trouble right now if you fuck this up.
01:26:00I don't know.
01:26:01Can y'all hear me?
01:26:02Yes.
01:26:04Mia said throw it to me.
01:26:06I'm throwing Superbad.
01:26:09I loved Superbad growing up.
01:26:11I loved it so much.
01:26:12How old are you?
01:26:1321.
01:26:13Fucking respect.
01:26:16The kids are all right.
01:26:17My brother had a hernia surgery.
01:26:20He told me the story.
01:26:20They put him under, and the first thing he said when he woke up, and I guess I don't
01:26:24even know if he remembered the shit they told him.
01:26:26He asked the doctor.
01:26:27He woke up and he goes, what's your favorite movie?
01:26:29The doctor was like, what?
01:26:31He goes, what's your favorite movie?
01:26:32And the doctor goes, Superbad.
01:26:33My brother goes, fuck off.
01:26:35Yeah, so he goes, fuck off.
01:26:38That's more realistic than DeMott Hamlin waking up and saying, you won the game of life.
01:26:46Before we get to the other half, let's talk about Factor.
01:26:48Warmer, sunnier days are calling.
01:26:50Fuel up with Factor.

01:27:05I legitimately don't understand how they taste so good.
01:27:07It's the science of it.
01:27:09It's really, really good.
01:27:10It makes no fucking sense how it tastes.
01:27:11Two minutes in the microwave, it tastes like someone just made this meal right in front
01:27:13of you.
01:27:13It's insane.
01:27:15Treat yourself with restaurant quality meals that feature premium ingredients like filet

01:27:3120% off your next month while your subscription is active.
01:27:35On the other side, first matchup is Borat versus The Hangover going to Marty Mush.
01:27:40Hangover.
01:27:41Hangover has seriously, like, changed my life.
01:27:45You just want to hang out with the fellas, and you also realize you can never recreate
01:27:50anything they do.
01:27:52Like, you think, like, it's so much way, they have way better time than you actually ever
01:27:56have.
01:27:56Really fucked Vegas for everybody.
01:27:57It ruined Vegas, I do think.
01:27:59Whenever I'm in Vegas, I walk around the casino floor, and I think to myself, 90% of
01:28:03these people are going to wake up tomorrow and say, that was not that fun last night.
01:28:07Yeah.
01:28:07It's like, I gotta go home.
01:28:10One for The Hangover.
01:28:11Borat, everything we said about it before, iconic, revolutionary, the time, it changed
01:28:16everything.
01:28:16I think Hangover is so much better as an actual movie.
01:28:18Like, if I just want to rewatch one or the other, I would rewatch The Hangover a thousand
01:28:22times before I rewatch Borat.
01:28:23Two for The Hangover.
01:28:24Hangover.
01:28:25Wow, this is going to go into a clean sweep.
01:28:27Hangover for me, too.
01:28:28It's going to be hard to keep it running.
01:28:30That's respect.
01:28:31I think Rico's been the one vote on every other thing.
01:28:34Oh, I think you can make a case like what Robby.
01:28:36Robby kind of sold me, like, which one would I rather watch?
01:28:38It's been a long time since I popped on Borat, but I judge comedies on the first watch, because
01:28:44I do think that thing, like Marty said, where it gets, we got in a phase, especially, you
01:28:48know, too, like, before you were on the Internet all the time, people would just comment on
01:28:55movies, and it would ruin it for a little while, or you would be like, whatever.
01:28:58I do think that Borat, like, got like that for a little bit with the quoting it and stuff
01:29:03like that.
01:29:04So I guess I'll give The Hangover a slight lean, but Borat was different.
01:29:09It was a different comedy.
01:29:11It's truly just so much fun to say, my life.
01:29:15It's so much fun.
01:29:16That's literally what my roommate still says every time.
01:29:19I can't take it.
01:29:20Every now and then when someone hits you with, like, a really good one, like, a well-timed
01:29:23on Twitter and a quote to you or whatever, some shit, it gets you.
01:29:26But either way, Hangover is going to move on.
01:29:28Now we have The Other Guys versus Anchorman.
01:29:31The Other Guys versus Anchorman.
01:29:32Anchorman, yeah.
01:29:33I still haven't seen The Other Guys.
01:29:34Not since we last did it.
01:29:39Still haven't seen it.
01:29:42Tried to get a little feed at 2x speed.
01:29:45So one for Anchorman fights.
01:29:48Would you rather abstain?
01:29:49We can do an abstain.
01:29:50Because I don't love Anchorman.
01:29:52Sir?
01:29:52This one's a tough one, because I do love Anchorman.
01:29:56I think my heart wants to say Anchorman.
01:30:00So I'm going to say it.
01:30:00Wow.
01:30:01One for Anchorman.
01:30:02It's hard.
01:30:02They're both really good.
01:30:03But I'm going to go with The Other Guys, because the quote unquote conflict stage of that movie,
01:30:08like, adds to the plot.
01:30:09I like it.
01:30:10Oh, who?
01:30:11I don't even remember who.
01:30:12Salve?
01:30:13Who's doing drugs?
01:30:14Something about the lottery.
01:30:14I don't even remember.
01:30:15Yeah, something about the lottery.
01:30:16Whatever it was.
01:30:17Again, the end to Anchorman takes me out of it a little bit.
01:30:21Other Guys, just, it's great.
01:30:22Do you remember when he's talking to Steve Coogan's character, and he just keeps bribing
01:30:25them with, like, different gifts?
01:30:26So funny.
01:30:28You like Jersey Boys?
01:30:31Yeah, we like Jersey Boys.
01:30:33God damn, he did it again.
01:30:35The song, the pageantry.
01:30:36My, what a musical.
01:30:37Like, it's so fucking funny.
01:30:40The cucumber water with the lime or whatever, it's amazing.
01:30:42Glennie?
01:30:43I'm not obsessed with either of these, but Other Guys.
01:30:45The Other Guys, two for The Other Guys, one for Anchorman.
01:30:48I'm with Glennie.
01:30:49I like The Other Guys a lot more than Anchorman.
01:30:51I'm not obsessed with it.
01:30:52I love the desk pop scene.
01:30:54Your last desk pop.
01:30:55Bobby Cannavale.
01:30:56What's your gripe with The Other Guys?
01:30:58I've honestly just never considered it to, like, be a top-tier comedy.
01:31:01Really?
01:31:01Like, The Wedding Crashers and The Old Schools of the World.
01:31:04Really?
01:31:04I've just never been my vibe with Other Guys.
01:31:07I kind of agree.
01:31:08I kind of agree, too.
01:31:09Seeing that, too.
01:31:10I think it's great, but, like, I don't.
01:31:11But that, honestly, was stunning.
01:31:13Based on release time.
01:31:14That was, like, 2011, 2012.
01:31:15Yeah.
01:31:16When Mark Wahlberg's saying he learned how to do ballet to make fun of, like, the kids
01:31:20in school.
01:31:21And I also do think the full-blown action comedies kind of get swept under when they
01:31:24could be really funny.
01:31:24Like, 21 Jump Street is hilarious, but I think kind of just, I'm just thinking of it more
01:31:27as a fun movie.
01:31:27Like, I'm more of a 21 Jump Street guy than I am another.
01:31:30I think they're very similar, obviously.
01:31:31Dude, buddy, whatever.
01:31:34Bobby Fox.
01:31:35You're sticking with Other Guys?
01:31:37Other Guys.
01:31:37Other Guys is going to move on.
01:31:38Also, the security guard's taking his gun and, like, they put some sort of linseed oil
01:31:42on it.
01:31:42They cleaned it up.
01:31:43The wooden one.
01:31:45There's so many different moments in this.
01:31:46The Other Guys versus The Hangover to go into the finals.
01:31:49Starting with you, Marty Mush.
01:31:51This is a great final for me because these are my top two, but I'm going The Other Guys.
01:31:54I love The Other Guys.
01:31:55One for The Other Guys.
01:31:56Pretty easy Hangover vote for me.
01:31:58Pretty easy Hangover vote.
01:31:59Massively easy Hangover.
01:32:01Wow.
01:32:01Two to one in favor of The Hangover.
01:32:03Easy Hangover.
01:32:05You guys are broussarded.
01:32:07Fights?
01:32:09Hangover.
01:32:10Yes.
01:32:10Hangover's going to win.
01:32:11My top two.
01:32:11This is so exciting.
01:32:12You're not watching on YouTube.
01:32:13I flipped a coin for it.
01:32:14I flipped a Lucy for it.
01:32:16You're just being fucking sick.
01:32:19Rico, where'd you've gone?
01:32:21I mean, I think Hangover is unbelievable.
01:32:23Yeah, and you still haven't seen The Other Guys since the last time you've watched it.
01:32:26Exactly.
01:32:26We're going to have to have you watch that.
01:32:28All right.
01:32:28No, yeah.
01:32:28I do think you would like The Other Guys a lot.
01:32:30I'd watch The Other Guys.
01:32:31Sense of humor.
01:32:32Will Ferrell?
01:32:32Yeah.
01:32:34And before we do our final, let's do our last day.
01:32:36Shout out to Roan Apparel, our boy Roan.
01:32:39It sucks finding shit to wear.
01:32:40We all know that.
01:32:40Sometimes when we come out of the closet, you just look where...
01:32:43I mean, these corduroy shorts, I've had to wear them too many times because all the other
01:32:47crap in my closet sometimes sucks.
01:32:48But men's closets were due for a radical reinvention, and Roan has stepped up to the
01:32:51challenge.
01:32:52Roan's commuter collection is the most comfortable, breathable set of fabrics known to men.
01:32:56And here's why.
01:32:57They have products for every occasion, whenever you're going to...
01:32:59It doesn't matter, golf course, corner office.
01:33:01It doesn't matter.
01:33:02They have quarter zips, polos, pants, dress shirts, all of it.
01:33:05Their four-way stretch fabric has breathability and flexibility that leaves you free to enjoy
01:33:08whatever life throws your way from the commute to your, again, 18 holes of golf, whatever.
01:33:11It's time to feel confident without the hassle.
01:33:13And with Roan's wrinkle release technology, wrinkles disappear as you stretch.
01:33:16And they stretch as you wear the products.
01:33:17It's that easy.
01:33:18We love Roan here.
01:33:19The commuter collection can get you through any workday and straight to whatever comes
01:33:22next.
01:33:22Head to Roan.com slash bracket and use promo code bracket to save 20% off your entire order.
01:33:26That's 20% off your entire order when you head to Roan.com slash bracket, R-H-O-N-E.com
01:33:31slash bracket and use code bracket.
01:33:32It's time to find your corner office comfort.
01:33:34All right, big final right now.
01:33:36Rico, you're going to start at the vote.
01:33:38Superbad versus The Hangover.
01:33:39What is the funnier comedy from the 21st century?
01:33:43I think because of the cleverness, I'm going to go Superbad.
01:33:47I think there's layers to the jokes.
01:33:49I think that they're fucking, it's, I think it's Superbad.
01:33:52One for Superbad.
01:33:54Yeah.
01:33:55I mean, honestly, I did not want Superbad to win this because I tend to agree with Tommy
01:34:00that it's kind of just become reactionary to say it's the greatest.
01:34:03Um, I very much, I love it.
01:34:05I don't, I don't know if it's my favorite, but it does win this bracket for me.
01:34:09Another one for Superbad.
01:34:10I'm going comfortably The Hangover.
01:34:13Comfortably.
01:34:14Comfortably.
01:34:14I think it's funnier.
01:34:17Um, that's the main thing.
01:34:19I think, you know, if we're talking the plot itself, I mean, yeah, I like the mystery aspect
01:34:24of, oh, what happened to Doug?
01:34:25Um, yeah, for me, I mean, I didn't see Superbad in theaters, so maybe that does affect a little
01:34:29bit, but yeah, seeing Hangover in theaters for the first time was.
01:34:32I think that was the most worn costume with like when he had the baby.
01:34:36Oh yeah.
01:34:36I mean that or McLovin.
01:34:38I was Halloween, Alan for Halloween.
01:34:39He was Alan for Halloween.
01:34:40Jackie Moon is up there though for Halloween costume.
01:34:43Jackie Moon.
01:34:44McLovin.
01:34:44A lot of people were McLovin too.
01:34:45McLovin is a big one.
01:34:46Yeah.
01:34:47Um, but yeah, I think.
01:34:49Yeah, it's The Hangover.
01:34:50I got to get a new favorite movie, but.
01:34:52You don't, Tom.
01:34:53You don't.
01:34:54You don't.
01:34:54Hangover is a good movie.
01:34:56All movies.
01:34:56It came out.
01:34:57It was like the first time.
01:34:58Wasn't that the first time like a comedy came out in a long time that everyone liked?
01:35:02Probably since Superbad-ish.
01:35:04Probably like Stepbrothers.
01:35:05Probably like since the one year before Stepbrothers came out.
01:35:07Yeah.
01:35:08Yeah, it was a year before.
01:35:11I don't know.
01:35:12I'm not autistic and know every date that comes out these movies.
01:35:15That's like every.
01:35:16It's really just Tommy.
01:35:18Yeah.
01:35:19So two to one in favor of Superbad.
01:35:21I'm thrilled about this.
01:35:22I mean, these are my top two.
01:35:24I've been saying this for me and you argue about this a lot, Bob.
01:35:26Funniest comedy and best comedy.
01:35:28I think best comedy ever.
01:35:29Hangover.
01:35:29Funniest comedy ever.
01:35:30Superbad.
01:35:30This is I guess it's funniest comedy.
01:35:32I think and I'm also straight up.
01:35:34I'm more of just a Seth Rogen guy than like a Zach Galifianakis humor person.
01:35:37So I'm just going to go Superbad.
01:35:38And like you just said, layers jokes like immediately just popped in my brain
01:35:41when Joe, Charlie, it picks up Seth and Evan.
01:35:44He's like, you guys don't got him, Jimmy.
01:35:45He was like his brother.
01:35:46And then to half hour later, they bring that up.
01:35:48Jimmy's brother, Singer, like just shit like that.
01:35:50I'd love Superbad.
01:35:51It's fucking awesome.
01:35:52Three for Superbad.
01:35:53One for The Hangover.
01:35:54I might be going down with the ship here, but I'm more of a hangover guy.
01:35:57I'm going with The Hangover right now.
01:35:59Again, Marty, you're going to have to.
01:36:02So I just I saw some cheering in the booth.
01:36:06Oh, but I was going to go hangover.
01:36:09So what were they cheering for?
01:36:11For Hangover.
01:36:12Hangover.
01:36:13We're getting thumbs up there, too.
01:36:14Oh my God.
01:36:14We are three to three to the booth.
01:36:16It looks like Todd Phillips may be getting the win.
01:36:19Unfortunately, I don't like to.
01:36:20I would like to abstain from voting as long as I can.
01:36:22I'd much rather the booth take it.
01:36:23Does anyone have Pat's number?
01:36:25Pat.
01:36:26We're security Pat.
01:36:27We need him.
01:36:28I do have his number.
01:36:29Will you call him?
01:36:30Well, because if he doesn't answer, we'll go to him.
01:36:32Because he's our guy.
01:36:34He's our de facto talker.
01:36:35He ends the championship every time.
01:36:38While we are waiting for his call, I have two movies that were not.
01:36:41I understand they're not the traditional comedies, but they're both in the realm.
01:36:4608 and 12 in Bruges and Seven Psychopaths.
01:36:49Both amazing.
01:36:50Man, it was so good.
01:36:51Almost less comedies to me.
01:36:52Yeah.
01:36:53Hello.
01:36:53Hey, Pat, you're on the bracket right now.
01:36:57We need you once again to be our tiebreaker.
01:37:00All right, go ahead.
01:37:01We're debating best comedy movie of the 21st century.
01:37:06We're in the championship game right now.
01:37:08We're tied up.
01:37:10Superbad versus The Hangover.
01:37:12Have you seen both?
01:37:15No, I haven't.
01:37:16Have you seen either?
01:37:17Have you seen either?
01:37:19I saw The Hangover.
01:37:21You like it?
01:37:22Yeah, I liked it.
01:37:23Yeah.
01:37:26That's all you needed.
01:37:28Hangover.
01:37:29Thank you, Pat.
01:37:30Thank you, Pat.
01:37:33That's his.
01:37:33That's how he every time.
01:37:37Every time.
01:37:38Nothing is an explanation.
01:37:40Nothing.
01:37:40Yeah, hangover one.
01:37:42Pat.
01:37:43Superbad.
01:37:44But I said, do you like The Hangover goes?
01:37:45Yeah, I like The Hangover.
01:37:49I like that because that kind of leaves it as a tie.
01:37:51Yeah, and it's only way.
01:37:52And the winner of the funniest movie or best comedy since the 21st century.
01:38:01The Hangover.
01:38:02Great pick.
01:38:04Be back next week with a brand new episode.
