00:00In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
00:04O Seen
00:09By the Wise Qur'an
00:12Verily, you are one of the Messengers
00:16On a Straight Path
00:21A revelation of the Mighty, the Merciful
00:25That you may warn a people whose forefathers were not warned, for they are heedless
00:35Verily, the Word has come into effect upon most of them, but they do not believe
00:44Verily, We have placed shackles on their necks, so that they are on their chins, and they are covered
00:56And We have placed a barrier before them and a barrier behind them, and We have covered them, so that they see not
01:08And it is the same for them whether you warn them or do not warn them, they will not believe
01:18You warn only those who follow the Reminder and fear the Most Gracious in the unseen
01:26So give him glad tidings of forgiveness and a generous reward
01:32Verily, We give life to the dead and record what they have put forth and their footsteps, and We have recorded all things in a clear record
01:48And set forth for them an example of the people of the town when the Messengers came to it
01:58When We sent to them two, but they denied them, so We strengthened a third, and they said, Verily, we are sent to you
02:14They said, You are not but human beings like us, and the Most Gracious has not sent down anything, you are but lying
02:31They said, Our Lord knows that we are sent to you
02:39And we are only responsible for the clear proclamation
02:46They said, Verily, we have been sent to you, and if you do not desist, we will surely stone you, and a painful punishment will surely touch you from us
03:04They said, Your birds are with you, if you are reminded, but you are a transgressing people
03:18And a man came running from the farthest part of the city, he said, O my people, follow the Messengers
03:29Follow those who do not ask you for a reward, and they are rightly guided
03:36And it is not for me to worship the One who created me, and to Him you will be returned
03:45Shall I take other gods besides Him? If the Most Gracious intends to harm me, their intercession will avail me nothing, nor will they save me
04:02Verily, then I am in manifest error
04:09Verily, I have believed in your Lord, so listen to me
04:16It was said, Enter Paradise
04:20He said, O would that my people knew
04:26how my Lord forgave me and made me of the honored
04:32And We did not send down upon his people after him any army from the sky, nor would We have sent them down
04:51It was not but one blast, and at once they were dead
05:01O regret for the servants
05:05There did not come to them any messenger except that they used to mock at him
05:15Do they not see how many generations We have destroyed before them, that to them they will not return
05:25And all of them will be brought before Us
05:33And a sign for them is the dead earth. We gave it life and brought forth from it grain, and from it they ate
05:45And We placed therein gardens of date-palms and vines, and We caused therein to burst forth springs
05:59That they may eat of its fruit, and that which their hands have produced. Will they not then be grateful
06:09Exalted is He who created all kinds of things from that which the earth produces, and from themselves, and from that which they know not
06:23And a sign for them is the night. We cause the day to pass away from it, and at once they are oppressed
06:32And the sun runs to its fixed place. That is the decree of the Exalted in Might, the All-Knowing
06:42And the moon, We have determined its phases, until it returns to you, the old crescent
06:51The sun should not reach the moon, nor should the night overtake the day. And each is in an orbit swimming
07:08And a sign for them is that We carried their offspring in a loaded ship
07:17And We created for them from the like of it that which they ride
07:24And if We will, We can drown them, and there will be no cry for them, nor will they be saved
07:33Except as a mercy from Us and a provision for a time
07:41And when it is said to them, Be mindful of what is before you and what is behind you, that you may be given mercy
07:51And no sign comes to them from the signs of their Lord, except that they turn away from them
08:02And when it is said to them, Spend from that which Allah has provided for you, those who disbelieve say to those who believe, Shall we feed those whom Allah would have willed to feed? You are not but in manifest error
08:28And they say, When is this promise, if you are truthful?
08:36They do not wait except for one blast which will seize them while they are disputing
08:47So they will not be able to make a command, nor will they return to their people
08:58And the horn will be blown, and at once they will descend from the graves to their Lord
09:08They will say, Woe to us! Who has raised us from our bed? This is what the Most Merciful promised, and the Messengers spoke the truth
09:22It will be but one blast, and at once they will all be brought before Us
09:33So this Day no soul will be wronged at all, and you will not be recompensed except for what you used to do
09:44Verily, the dwellers of Paradise this Day are in a fruitful occupation
09:52They and their spouses are in shade on couches, reclining
10:01They will have therein fruit, and they will have that which they ask for
10:08Peace, a word from a Merciful Lord
10:14And abstain this Day, O you who are guilty
10:20Did I not promise you, O Children of Adam, that you would not worship Satan?
10:30Verily, he is to you a manifest enemy
10:36And that you should worship Me, this is a straight path
10:45And indeed he has led astray many of you, did you not then understand?
10:55This is Hell, which you were promised
11:02Burn therein this Day, because you used to disbelieve
11:08This Day We will seal their mouths, and their hands will speak to Us, and their feet will bear witness to that which they used to earn
11:23And if We willed, We could have made their eyes see, but they hastened to the path, so how could they see?
11:37And if We willed, We could have made them stand in their places, but they could not pass by, nor could they return
11:49And whosoever We give life to, We give him back in creation. Will they not then understand?
11:58And We have not taught him poetry, nor is it appropriate for him. It is naught but a Reminder and a clear Qur'an
12:11That he may warn those who are alive, and that speech may be justified against the disbelievers
12:20Do they not see that We have created for them from that which Our hands have made cattle, and they are its owners
12:34And We have made it low for them, and from it they ride, and from it they eat
12:42And for them therein are benefits and drinkings. Will they not then be grateful?
12:49And they have taken gods besides Allah, that haply they may be helped
12:57They are not able to help them, and they are to them soldiers brought
13:06So let not their speech grieve you. Verily, We know what they conceal and what they declare
13:16Do they not see that We have created man from a sperm, and behold, he is a manifest adversary
13:28And he sets forth an example for Us, and he forgets his own creation. He says, Who will give life to bones while they are scattered?
13:39Say, He will give life to it who created it the first time, and He is Knowing of every creation
13:51Who made for you from the tree the green fire, and then from it you ignite
14:05Is not He Who created the heavens and the earth Able to create like them? Yes, and He is the All-Knowing Creator
14:20His command, when He intends a thing, is only to say to it, Be, and it is
14:33So exalted is He in Whose hand is the dominion of all things, and to Him you will be returned
