00:05What is being said now about the Raiders and the quarterback situation with the Raiders?

00:26I think Gardner's had, you know, several days now where he's made some plays,
00:29but there's also some turnovers that show up that we don't want to have happen as well.
00:33And, again, when I look at Aiden, I see a guy that's, you know, throwing the ball accurate.
00:36I see some drops by our wide receivers.
00:38And I don't think it's just on the quarterbacks.
00:40I think overall our offensive play has to pick up.
00:44So, I was about to say, with the Chargers, their quarterback is hurt and they're screwed without him.
00:51The Raiders don't really have a quarterback,
00:53and they've got two backup quarterbacks battling for the starting job.
00:57What do you make of that situation?
01:00Yeah, I was out at Raiders camp and was able to watch both the quarterbacks during practice,
01:06had a chance to talk to former Chargers GM Tom Telesco, now the GM of the Raiders,
01:11just, you know, about the team in general and specifically the quarterback situation.
01:16He basically said it's Antonio Pierce's decision to make in terms of who's going to be the starter.
01:22You know, that said, they did give Gardner decent money to come there,
01:26you know, two years and 25 million.
01:28So, you know, no towing Telesco a little bit.
01:32I would be surprised if that kind of money is going to sit and hold a clipboard during the regular season
01:38and not see the field at some point.
01:40You know, they brought Gardner in there for a reason.
01:43He was able to play winning football at times, you know, when he was at Indy and execute the offense.
01:49He has a little more movement skills than Aiden does.
01:53So they could run some of the zone read stuff with Gardner.
01:56And, you know, you're trying to keep that receiver happy.
02:01You know, I think that's part of it too.
02:03You better get somebody in there that can consistently get in the football to give your offense a chance.
