USA Dominates Brazil with 35-Point Win at the Olympics

00:09would roll into the semifinals at the Olympic Games and that's exactly what
00:14they do even covering as a 26 and a half point favorite blowing out Brazil by 35
00:21points again you can highlight a ton of good things that happened yesterday for
00:26the United States Jacob what was the favorite thing that you saw out of the
00:29Americans in a big victory over the Brazilians I think it was nice that it
00:34was a complete game you could really go down the lineup and say hey everyone
00:37played pretty well during this I mean you can nitpick Steph Curry didn't make
00:42a three-point shot which is unusual but I think if you look at how Joel Embiid
00:46played in this matchup and I know he's gonna be a defensive liability at times
00:51against big guys like Nikola Jokic in the next matchup might be difficult but
00:55I believe he was only played 12 minutes in this game but he was like plus
00:5925 or something you had LeBron James out there just carving up defenses with
01:04his passing which has really been key to the success of Team USA and I think the
01:09biggest thing that came out of this though was Devin Booker being able to go
01:135 of 7 from 3 with Steph Curry kind of struggling with the shot I think he's
01:175 of 20 from deep in the Olympics which is way below average for Curry I think
01:23having Booker around and being able to space the floor better with that
01:26starting lineup is going to be key and I just think USA fans should be feeling
01:31really good that they have kind of lived up to expectations so far but this was
01:35the first game that really felt like a wire to wire blowout there was nothing
01:39to worry about from tip-off to the end of the game and they got everyone some
01:43action so I think this was a great way to get into the semifinals and they'll
01:47face a little tougher competition going forward but with Team Canada out things
01:52are looking pretty open for the USA to get to that gold medal game
