00:00The Tata Curve EV has just been launched and here's everything you need to know about this vehicle.
00:14So starting off with the battery options that we get on the Curve EV, well we get two battery
00:32options, one is a 45 kilowatt hour and the other is a 55 kilowatt hour.
00:37Now the 45 kilowatt hour can push the Curve EV up to 502 kilometers on a single charge
00:45and the 55 kilowatt hour, the bigger battery pack can push the Curve EV up to 585 kilometers
00:52on a single charge.
00:53Now that is something we haven't seen before on an electric vehicle.
00:56Now power figures, well this Curve EV puts out 160 horses, however the torque figures
01:02are still not yet known to us.
01:05Now looking at the design, as you can see we get a connecting light bar in the front,
01:09a very very nice design and we get the charging option located right where the Tata symbol
01:14is.
01:15Also the charging port that we get is electronically controlled so if we forget to close it after
01:21we're done charging, in three minutes of not using the car and with the charging port open,
01:26it will close by itself.
01:28Also on top of that, if you leave it open and if you forget about it and once you start
01:33the car, as soon as you start the car, the charging port will close all by itself.
01:37Then apart from that, looking at the bottom, we get cameras, we get radars in the front
01:42and we get this sort of makeshift grille.
01:44We also get an air filter on the Curve EV.
01:47Apart from that, we get lights over here with the Curve badge located right there and this
01:55is pretty much the front end, as you can see it's a very futuristic feel, however this
01:59is seen on some of the other Tata models.
02:03Now moving on to the side, well, here we get 18-inch wheels, now the Curve EV is either
02:10available on a 17-inch option or an 18-inch option depending on the variant you select.
02:15So looking at the Curve EV from the side, as you can see, it's a sort of master of stars
02:19with a very very futuristic look.
02:22Also the whole silhouette of the car, from the front till the top, features a new design
02:27that has been designed only by Tata and not seen before.
02:32So the wheel arches that we get have a piano black finish on top and we get some black
02:36cladding located right underneath the car.
02:40We also get some forged carbon fibre finish over there and we also get the carbon fibre
02:47finish along the windows.
02:51Now apart from that, we get these flushed door handles which basically mean we got to
02:56push it in from one side and open it like that.
03:00So those are the door handles that we get.
03:02The tyres that we get on this are 18-inch and we also get a 17-inch option for this.
03:08We also get an aero cover, as you can see, giving the Curve EV that electric feel that
03:14it needs.
03:15We also get the EV badging located at the front and that's it for the side of the car.
03:22So what else interesting do we get on the Tata Curve EV?
03:26Well, we get, for charging time, we can get from 10% to 80% in just 40 minutes using the
03:3370 kilowatt charger and apart from that, we can get 150 kilometres in just 15 minutes
03:39of charge.
03:40Apart from that, we get a vehicle-to-vehicle charging capacity and we also get a vehicle-to-load
03:44charging capacity.
03:45Now, for both of these, we get options from Tata EV originals.
03:50Apart from that, we get a 50-50 weight distribution on the Curve EV.
03:54We get 450 mm of water weighting capacity and the boot space of the Curve EV is something
04:02extremely surprising.
04:03Well, we get 500 litres of boot capacity and once we fold down our rear seats, our boot
04:09capacity increases to 973 litres.
04:15That is almost more than any other vehicle we've seen in the Indian market as of now.
04:20Now, seated inside the Curve EV, as you can see, we get a very, very, very premium upholstery
04:26inside.
04:27We get ventilated seats for the co-driver, we get ventilated seats for the driver.
04:31We get the steering wheel with the illuminated Tata logo, a 10.3-inch infotainment system.
04:36Now, on here, we have a storage option located right in the centre.
04:41We get our driving modes, City, Eco and Sport.
04:45We get a parking brake, auto hold, driving, our park, reverse, neutral, gear selector
04:54and apart from that, we get a panoramic sunroof as we can see.
04:58So, all in all, the interiors of the Tata Curve are extremely premium, makes it honestly
05:06feel like we're sitting in a top segment vehicle.
05:10So, what we have here is the Tata Originals, Tata EV Originals to be exact and this is
05:16something that Tata has just come out with only for their electric vehicles.
05:20So, these are all made by Tata and features available for the electric cars and a few
05:26of them are umbrellas, a flask, we get a wireless coffee maker, we get the vehicle to load option
05:34over here, the vehicle to vehicle option here, a frunk located right here and a whole lot
05:40of other options which is all additional accessories for any of the Tata Curve electric vehicles.
05:46So, all in all, that was the Tata Curve EV, I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
