00:00A reunion that is anything but rough.
00:04Thank you for bringing me home everyone.
00:07Ten year old Beagle Harley went missing from a groomer in Highgate six days ago.
00:12When his distraught owners Casey and Joe took to social media for help.
00:16People in Sydney were seeing it, it was all over Australia even and I had no idea of the power of social media.
00:22Strangers got on board to help out with the search.
00:25Every sort of two or three minutes a different member of the public calling me and saying I've seen him here and he's running fast
00:31and then three minutes later he'd be in a different suburb.
00:33Reported sightings of Harley stretched across at least seven suburbs in Adelaide,
00:38starting in the east through to the CBD and into the south.
00:42Last night alone Harley was spotted in Glenside before sightings in Fullerton Road and Dulwich.
00:47He was next seen in the city along South Terrace, then in Forestville,
00:51at the tram station in Goodwood and in Unley Park before owners finally found him in a creek in Hawthorne.
00:58It was just the most overwhelming thing ever to have him back
01:02and absolutely the happiest day of our lives to have found him again and be able to bring him home.
01:07After some overnight TLC at the vet he was discharged.
01:11Now Casey and Joe are considering giving Harley a very special role.
01:16Look I think he's going to have to be our best man at our wedding you know for next year
01:20so hopefully there's no adventures between now and then.
01:22A happy end to this Beagle's adventure.
