00:00I spotted what I thought was a deceased dog. I pulled over to the side of the highway. I just knew I needed to help him.
00:09You're okay. You're alright, baby. You're okay, honey.
00:13We rushed him to the emergency bed.
00:15I can't even imagine how nerve-wracking that must have been. What did they tell you about Shiloh's conditions?
00:21I was told that he'd never be able to walk again and that his best option would be euthanasia.
00:27And I responded with, I'm not going to euthanize him. I want to do everything that we can for him.

00:36I just saw something in Shiloh's eyes that he wanted to live and he was willing to fight.
00:42When Shiloh got released from the vet, I was happy, but I was also very apprehensive
00:48because I wasn't sure the monumental task that I had just taken on to teach this dog to walk again.
00:57Shiloh was quite the love bug from the beginning.
01:10And he was so appreciative of every one of us.
01:16I was literally feeding him with my hands so that he wouldn't have to get up and go to the bowl.
01:22My first step was full range of motion. I would take my hands and move his legs.
01:31Look at that. I would support him and let him know that he has me there to help him.

02:05The first milestone where we all just were ecstatic was the first time he sat up.

02:19That's the moment that I knew that we were going to accomplish this.

02:33It was just like our hearts just filled with joy.

02:38But the ultimate joy was seeing him literally running in the yard.
02:44That was the ultimate prize right there.
02:50Shiloh has since been adopted, and I don't think we could have asked for a more perfect and beautiful home for Shiloh.
03:00It's bittersweet. He captured my heart.
03:02But him getting a new home and seeing the love that he received, it's just an indescribable happiness.
