Look inside the Red Deer cask ale pub in Sheffield under new ownership

On Point Pubs is now the owner of the Red Deer pub on Pitt Street, Sheffield city centre.

00:00The Red Deer on Pitt Street in the city centre is under new ownership.

00:07The pub is now owned by On Point Pubs and General Manager Jack Donnelly is at the helm.

00:14Jack has revealed plans for the pub's future including live music, open mic nights, pub quizzes and a refreshed menu for September.

00:25The pub is well known for its vegan and gluten free offerings and is keen to keep that in mind.

00:32Its owners have also spruced the pub up.

00:36It was closed for 10 days whilst tired looking interior was refreshed.

00:41It has had new flooring laid down and a lick of paint and its tables have been sanded down and re-varnished too.

00:49Jack has revealed plans for a retro games room upstairs by the free to use function room.

00:55Plans include retro arcade games, board games and much more.

01:00The function room is regularly used by university societies.

01:05While the summer weather is still here the Red Deer also has a lovely beer garden for you to enjoy a bit of sunshine.
