Thomas Page Pritchard, the last remaining Rat of Tobruk, has died aged 102. He served alongside 14-thousand Australians as an ambulance member during the middle east theatre of the second world war. He later married and had four children before working at Victoria's electricity commission in Ballarat and Hamilton. The Rats of Tobruk association is planning a public memorial in Melbourne.
