03:55And it might have been one of those uppercuts that busted Barroso open, although there was
04:06a nice sweeping left hook from Nerja.
04:10You see the blood pouring down the face of Barroso.
04:14It looks like they have it at least mildly under control right now.
04:21About as good of an opening round for Nerja as you could ask for.
04:38And it looks like this one will be, I mean these are very confusing instructions here.
04:47This one will be waved off, yes.
04:50So the Barroso corner, throwing in the towel for their fighter.
04:59One-sided action in that opening round combined with the blood flow already initiated and
05:09that will be it for Angel Barroso.
05:12So Dennis Nerja improving to 15-0, that's his seventh knockout.
05:23Bit of a bizarre ending there for Nerja, although he seems to be a bit of a magnet for those.
05:30You might have seen last year in November when Nerja fought Placido Ramirez.
05:40Ramirez hit Nerja with an uppercut, Nerja was hurt and looked like he suffered a leg
05:46injury.
05:47There was a little bit of a referee confusion so Ramirez jumped in, hit Nerja again and
05:51that prompted a cascade of Nerja fans, two in particular, to jump in the ring and attack
05:58Ramirez and as a result the fight was declared a no contest.
06:04So Nerja escaped without what probably would have otherwise been a loss on his record.
06:11That ending quite a bit more bizarre than this one, this was just a little bit of an
06:16officiating confusion temporarily but Dennis Nerja tonight with a clean knockout victory,
06:24no funny business and his fans can celebrate in a more appropriate way here tonight.
