  • last month

00:00South Asia remains calm, but the way the Prime Minister Sheikh Haseena left the country and after his departure,
00:13the way the media is saying that it was a student movement, but the footage shows that it was not a student movement.
00:21There could be a conspiracy behind it, which has completely destabilized Bangladesh, which has been on the path of economic development for the past 15 years,
00:31with which we have a good relationship with India.
00:34Recently, we were talking about the Comprehensive Economic Partnership Agreement.
00:39Bangladesh was excited about the fact that both of us should talk about a free trade agreement.
00:46So, the trade process was moving forward.
00:48The process of investment that both of us were doing, we were talking about maritime security,
00:54we were talking about military joint exercises.
00:57All these things are important because Bangladesh is a very important neighbor of India.
01:03India has played a very important historical role in its creation.
01:08Some countries, especially Pakistan, do not like it.
01:14China wants Bangladesh to be in a debt trap.
01:19The partner of BRI is no longer in contact with India.
01:25But in the absence of Sheikh Haseena, the way relations with India developed in the past 15 years,
01:31we were sure that our borders with the five countries would meet with Bangladesh.
01:37And the way there are some issues with Bangladesh, such as illegal migration and infiltration,
01:46when relations between the two countries are good, it helps to solve such problems.
01:52And this is a very important event from the point of view of India's security.
01:56Because it will have its own spillover effect.
01:59Our borders with the five countries are around 4000 km.
02:04And the biggest thing is that Bangladesh is India's largest trade partner in South Asia.
02:12And Bangladesh is India's second-largest trading partner.
02:16So, when such developments are happening,
02:20and suddenly such events happen,
02:23and today the military has taken over the country,
02:27and the interim government will have to see what dynamics Bangladesh will take in the coming days.
