00:00When it started for Elgin City, you scored the first goal of the season for Elgin. You must be delighted with your league debut for City.
00:07Yeah, it was pleasant. But it's the first as well for SPFL. I only scored from our two goals in the Scottish Cup, so I'm absolutely delighted.
00:14I mean, it takes into half-time as well, Jack, getting the second goal, so it gave us a good lift.
00:19A right wing-back position, and the goal was set up by the left wing-back. It tells you that the manager's telling you guys to get high up the park, which you certainly were doing in that first half in particular.
00:28Yeah, definitely. It was a ball before it, I probably should have scored, so I made sure I got the second one. The build-up to the goal was really good as well.
00:36I've played right-back three times in the Cup, and I've played in centre-mid as well, so I'm definitely going to do a few positions.
00:43It's a lot of travel for you, obviously. There's a group of guys from the central belt coming up. What's your impression of the long roads up to the home matches so far?
00:51I'm enjoying it. It's another experience for me. I'm still young enough to do it, so I'm really enjoying it. It's me and all the MacDonalds that are travelling up, so it's good to have somebody there to chat to and whatever.
01:01Definitely, the home crowd helps so much. It makes you win the games. I'm impressed with the home crowd today.
01:08I know Elgin's got ambitions to finally get that promotion in their 25th season. It's a hard league to get into that playoffs. Is there a good feeling in the squad at the moment that they could be part of it?
01:18That's the goal at the end of the day. Just take it game by game. That's our goal in the league. We've got to go for it. As I said, game by game. Focuses are going to be hard away, but nothing can stop us.
01:28You see the squad's really competitive as well. Eventually, you're seeing a lot of guys that have got some quality to really keep you on your toes when you have got the shot.
01:34We've got a great squad. If somebody's coming off, we know we can bring on a good player.
01:38I think you're one of only three players that's started every game so far, including the four-cup ties, so you're well match fit, you're well reared and you're holding that shot.
01:46I'm delighted with that. Do you know what you get for trusting me? I'm happy with that.
