What determines the Life Span?
One's life span is based on our past life karma. Karma gets charged with being the doer and believing that I am XYZ (name) in whatever happens in our lives.

00:00What determines how much time we stay alive here?
00:06Lifespan is of past karma, due to past karma,
00:11because whatever we have charged in past,
00:15according to in this life, we have to stay,
00:21say for 80 years, 60 years, 50 years, 80, 90, 100,
00:26depends upon which type of karma we have charged in past.
00:31So in this life, it is not in our control.
00:35From birth till death, nothing is in our control.
00:40But we are, whatever happens, we are believing that
00:43I am doer, I am doing, I am doing,
00:46and that doership is charging of new karma for next life.
00:51We cannot change whatever happens, we cannot change,
00:55but we are believing that I am doing, so I have done,
00:59so if it is positive happening, good happening,
01:02then we say, I have done, something bad happens,
01:05we are blaming on others.
01:07Really good happen is a result of our merit karma.
01:12Something bad happens is a result of our demerit karma.
01:17So it is karma, result of karma,
01:20whatever happens in this life.
01:23Due to ignorance, we are believing that I am doer,
01:26something bad happens, we are blaming on others,
01:29and that part is due to wrong belief,
01:32we are charging new karma for next life.
01:35After jnana ceremony, we understand I am not doer,
01:38I am knower and seer, I am pure soul.
01:41And Paolo is governed by scientific circumstantial evidence.
01:46But you are believing that I am Paolo, and I am doer,
01:50that's why you are charging new karma,
01:53and whatever happens, you feel happiness or unhappiness,
01:57suffering or normal condition.
02:00But after Jnana Vedi, we understand I am pure soul,
02:03and Paolo is governed by scientific circumstantial evidence,
02:07and now positive or negative, failure or success,
02:11whatever happens, we will accept it.
02:14Whatever happens is correct, result of my past karma.
02:18I have to finish with equanimity,
02:21so there will not be any new charging of new karma,
02:24and we can remain in equanimity stage.
