An Audience with... is a long running British entertainment television show produced by London Weekend Television (now part of ITV Studios), in which a host, usually a singer or comedian, performs for an invited audience of celebrity guests, interspersed with questions from the audience, in a lighthearted revue/tribute style.
On 13 November 1999 London Weekend recorded episode #30, An Audience With Cliff Richard. Cliff's audience show also had some of his own guests who performed with him. This is a really great entertaining show with Cliff singing many of his classic hits. Something I think many will enjoy. Play on!

05:00The seats are hard aren't they?
05:04Any more questions? Wendy is that your hand? Hi. Well you're coming up 50 years in the
05:12business there's some amazing things happen to you in those 50 years is there
05:16just one thing that you could pick out that say is is the most momentous thing
05:22that will stay with you forever? 40 years by the way. 40? I said nearly 50. Yeah but that's 10 years away.
05:31Momentous thing again you know I've hinted already that I've been so lucky
05:35with the things that I've been asked to do and songs I've been given to sing but
05:39I think I think what I'm gonna remember most is the knighthood. It's one of those
05:46things you can't work for you can't aim at it you can aim at a gold disc you may
05:49fail you may miss but sometimes you hit but the knighthood was just beyond or
05:55anything I just wish my father had been alive to witness that because he would
06:00have been really really proud. When I first got started he used to say to
06:06me why can't you sing more like Marty Wilde and Little Richard he said they
06:11really he didn't use these terms but he meant this he said they really give it
06:14one because when I listen to my old records it was very gentle you know even
06:20come on pretty baby is there was no aggression there and I feel somehow
06:23another over the years I've become not aggressive but I have an edge and I
06:29think he would have he'd have really loved it
06:36there's a lot of friends of mine here tonight Una Stubbs the gorgeous one
06:46it's really nostalgic hearing all this music from when we worked together and I
06:51just want to know did you enjoy making the films and are you planning any more
06:54like we are all going on a saga holiday or something. Well you're right I mean we had the most
07:02fantastic time we were all young and couldn't believe our good fortune of
07:07being sort of like in Greece and and being paid for it you know if there was
07:11an offer going I am available and relatively cheap as long as you'll be in
07:16it though. Can I have my guitar? As if by magic. This is for you Youn.
07:30When the girl in your arms. I've never sung it wrong before.
07:51When the girl in your arms is the girl in your heart
08:03Then you've got everything
08:10When you're holding a dream you've been dreaming
08:16You'd hope you're as rich as a king
08:25So hold her tight and never let her go
08:34Day and night let her know you love us all
08:43With the love of your life
08:47Spend a lifetime of love
08:51Make her yours forevermore
08:58Make her yours forevermore
09:13Maybe it's real, just a thought
09:19But it's all in the game
09:27All in the wonderful game
09:32That we know as love
09:41You have words within
09:47And your future's looking dim
09:53But these things, your heart can rise above
10:06What's it all while he won't call
10:10Oh but it's all in the game
10:18Cause soon he'll be there at your side
10:23With a sweet bouquet
10:32And then he'll kiss your lips
10:39And caress your waiting fingertips
10:45And your heart will fly away
10:59Your heart will fly away
11:10And your heart will fly away
11:28Thank you very much.
