An Audience with... is a long running British entertainment television show produced by London Weekend Television (now part of ITV Studios), in which a host, usually a singer or comedian, performs for an invited audience of celebrity guests, interspersed with questions from the audience, in a lighthearted revue/tribute style.
On 13 November 1999 London Weekend recorded episode #30, An Audience With Cliff Richard. Cliff's audience show also had some of his own guests who performed with him. This is a really great entertaining show with Cliff singing many of his classic hits. Something I think many will enjoy. Play on!

00:00Thank you very much. Thank you. You're very kind. Thank you.
00:24Well, any more questions?
00:26Mystic Meg.
00:29Your past and your present look wonderful, but tell me, what do you see when you look into your future?
00:39Don't you know?
00:47I always have felt that it's a little dangerous to look into the future.
00:50It's nice to look back into the past because then you have an opportunity to say that was not a good thing to do,
00:55that was the wrong thing to do, and you can attempt to correct it.
00:58In the future, I'm not sure I really want to know what's going to happen because half the surprise of...
01:03I mean, most of us could relate to this, that we never know what's quite around the corner.
01:08You're never sure if success is going to find you, and if it does, you can't even be sure that it's going to stay with you
01:13because it doesn't work that way sometimes.
01:16So I've been really happy that I've waited for every year to go by thinking, is this the last one?
01:21It hasn't been enough thought, thank you.
01:24Thank you.
01:25Anymore?
01:26Over here.
01:27Down here.
01:28Anthea, hello.
01:29Is there a song that somebody else recorded and you wish it was yours, of all the fabulous songs in the world?
01:35Almost every number one I've heard by somebody else.
01:39We are greedy creatures.
01:40I've been saying this on stage a lot recently, saying that we never seem to be satisfied.
01:44All the stuff I've had has been so good, but when you hear a number one record, I don't like them all.
01:49Nobody likes all the number ones that are there, but just every now and then I think, oh, I'd love to have done that one.
01:53I could have really killed that Cher song.
01:56Another perfect pop rock thing, it was just wonderful.
02:00But almost all of them really, including things like, I'm not in love, but the one that got away,
02:06the one that was written by the guy that wrote Devil Woman for me, and a lot of other stuff, Terry Britton,
02:12he wrote, what's love got to do with it, got to do with it?
02:17What's love but a secondhand emotion?
02:20Well, it should have been mine.
02:30Any more?
02:31Yeah, I recognise that voice.
02:32Do you remember me?
02:33Remember, did they let you in here?
02:34They did.
02:35All the warnings out everywhere say, do not let him in.
02:39This is a very emotional...
02:47This is, knowing him, it's going to be tough.
02:51Now, this is very emotional for me, you know, you up here, and me down here.
02:57It's the way it always was.
03:02So, I'd like to talk about money.
03:06Let him join the band, please.
03:07I was thinking the other day, you know, it's 41 years since we did the first tour.
03:11Yeah, it is.
03:12And we got £12 a week.
03:14As much as that.
03:16And then in 1960, we were starring at the Palladium, and you gave us £25 a week.
03:21I remember it.
03:22It's been 30 years we've been apart now.
03:25I just wondered what you'd be paying us now.
03:30Well, I might have reached 50, because we're grossly overpaid, you have to admit.
03:35I mean, we are going back 100 years or so.
03:38Now, there's no doubt about it, the Shatters and I, I'm not sure I could have done it without you.
03:43I know you couldn't have done it without me.
03:47Thank you.
03:50Thank you.
03:51From one old band to a new band, in fact.
03:53Would you please welcome onto the stage, Another Level.
04:10This is a song that I recorded some time back.
04:12It's one of my favourites.
04:13It's called Some People.
04:17Some people on the tease
04:21One another to play on themselves
04:25Keeping the other one down
04:28Well, I'm not like that at all
04:36Some people they hurt
04:39One another they love to see
04:43Hurt in the other one's eyes
04:46Well, I'm not like that at all
04:54Some people are born for each other
04:57They love to walk
05:00Holding the other one's hand
05:04They always understand
05:09Some people cry
05:13Some people know why
05:33Some people they use one another
05:36So seamlessly
05:39Not like lovers do
05:42But I'm not like that at all
05:50Some people they long for each other
05:54They love to talk
05:56Holding the other one's hand
06:00They always understand
06:05Some people cry
06:09Some people know why
06:12You walk unspoken with a voice unheard
06:16When a thought is broken by a tender word
06:20When a heart is moved
06:23When a heart is blown
06:25The silence tells you that you're not alone
06:29Some people are born for each other
06:33They love to walk
06:36Holding the other one's hand
06:39They always understand
06:44Some people cry
06:48Some people know why
06:56Some people
07:00Some people
07:08Some people are born for each other
07:12They love to walk
07:14Holding each other's hand
07:17Some people are born for each other
07:21Some people are born for each other
07:26Holding each other
07:28Holding each other
07:40Holding the other one's hand
07:47Holding each other
08:18Four o'clock I've been walking all night
08:22It's the time I always think of you
08:30If you could only see through my eyes
08:34Then you'd know just what I'm going through
08:39Then you'd know just what I'm going through
08:46Here am I taking a chance
08:49Walking on air
08:51Flying so high
08:56Here am I facing the truth
08:59There's no other way
09:02I'll ever make you my life
09:06I'm dreaming, dreaming of me and you
09:13I'm dreaming, dreaming we'll see me through
09:20Never letting chances pass me by
09:25I'm gonna dream you right into my life
09:28Yeah, dream you right into my life
09:31Dreaming, dreaming we'll see me through
09:35Woman, you better believe that I'll be
09:38Dreaming you into my life
09:41Woman, you got to believe me, woman
09:47Oh woman, oh woman, you got to believe me
09:53I'll be forever
09:55Dreaming you into my life
09:59You got to believe me
10:05Oh woman, oh woman, you got to believe me
10:10I'll be
10:12Dreaming you into my life
