00:00Hey, I'm Bill from the band Taproot.

00:12I play bass.

00:13I'm Nick from the band also Taproot and I play drums and this is our van.

00:17And our lovely gigantic trailer if you can see the size of that thing.

00:22Go big or go home, that's what we say.

00:25Made that up myself.

00:26So let's see what our van has to offer.

02:41Purell, sometimes you don't get a chance to truly wash your hands, so this is the next

02:46best thing.

02:47I don't know, I don't know, that's pretty much the front seat, I love too how there's

03:04so much stuff in your area, there's not going to be as much stuff in the other areas as

03:10Phil's area, but yeah, this is the crew bench typically where we put, you know, the guys

03:17that help us lug our shit around all the time, so, yeah, anyway, this is the rotating bench

03:24we'll say, that's Mountain Dew, this is where I sit, generally here, so I have a good shot

03:32of everything going on in front of me, but it doesn't really matter, I don't know why

03:38I sit here, but I sit here because this is where I've always sat, behind me is where

03:42Steve sits, Mike sits in the back row, yeah, I don't know.

03:49Now mind you, the back row, the van will be completely empty, there'll be one other person

03:55in here and Mike and Steve will still be sitting in the back, because that's just where they

03:58like to be, I don't know, remnants from like the elementary school days where it was cool

04:01to sit in the back, but no matter what, they sit in the back, and I'll just be a chauffeur

04:06driving up front or something.

04:07Yeah, it's sort of funny, and I do the same thing though, but it's sort of funny.

04:12Yeah, it's funny because you'd think you'd want a bench to yourself, we'll have a brand

04:16new crew guy, breaking them in, and he'll get this bench all to himself, if that's just

04:20the way it is that day, you know, there's not enough people, whatever, but if you look

04:23right here, you'll see our schedule for the tour, yeah, this is important, this is where

04:28we block out, we black out everything that happens, as we do it, so it's fun.

04:36Check out the back, this is where all our luggage is, everyone's bags for every day,

04:50very fancy, yeah, each of us has one bag, it lasts us a whole month or two, depending,

04:59we do laundry about once every two weeks at best, and yeah, we bring lots of underwear

05:04and socks on the road.

05:05And then like, in a month at worst, or a month at worst, I don't know if you can tell just

05:11how gigantic this trailer is, but it's like, almost ten feet high, yeah, here, this is

05:19actually where I spent most of my time anyway, oh yeah, we installed this ourselves, yeah,

05:24this is, one time this light wasn't working, but it was night time and we had to drive,

05:30so we installed this guy, still works, to work, and when we had to make turns it was

05:36really hard, so we had to run back here and do this, so we could let people know, oh it's

05:45literally full of lids, normally this is empty and all that stuff's inside the club, normally

05:49it's empty and we go and sort of hang out, I got like a stool, yeah, that's no fun today,

05:57there's no fun in here, for seven days it's fun.

06:00Yeah, it's like our own extra dressing room sometimes, and just hang out in here, Nick

06:04will do some of his paintings, if you see our cool drum heads, he paints up some drum

06:08heads for sale and everything, and yeah, I don't know.

06:13Yeah, every night we're sort of, I don't know, we're doing the same thing every day, so we're

06:17sort of militant about it, so we, to help loaders and other dudes in the middle of the

06:22night, like push cases, we have everything numbered and we put them in the same every

06:27day, and if you do it the same every day it makes it pretty easy to, I don't know.

06:31Yeah, because if you're just guessing, it can be like, you know, everything's a pretty

06:35tight fit, if you see everything pretty much goes to the front, just because we have so

06:38many cases and everything, so, you know, you gotta pack it in pretty tight, it's like playing

06:42Tetris.

06:43Yeah, it's like playing Tetris with a diagram, I mean, it's just like.

06:46Only you sweat a little bit more.
