00:00Hey! Come on in. What's going on? We're Wicked. I'm Chad Michael. Danny. Gunnar. SkyTV. What's
00:20going on? We're on tour with Raven, Vicious Rumors, and Lotharo. Super excited. Here in
00:26Chicago tonight at Reggie's. We're gonna rock it, man. We're gonna give you a little tour
00:31of the RV. Come on. What's going on? You know, this is where I spend, you know, partial of
00:37my time. About a third of your time, right? Yeah, a third of my time. I've never been
00:40up in the cab. He's never been in the passenger seat or in the driver's seat. But neither
00:45is Scotty V, our guitarist. What is that, like, phrase that people talk about? Like
00:51where you're, like, you're plausibly, like, incapable? Well, he makes it seem like he
00:55can't do something just so you don't make him do it. Yeah. Because he's like, I'm gonna
00:59just crash this thing. It's like mowing the lawn, you know. He's like, aw man, I did it
01:02really bad. I cut it all the way down to the dirt so I can't mow the lawn now, unfortunately.
01:07So, um, but he, these two guys spend most of their time in the back scotting. We're
01:13thinkers, you know what I mean? Like, we're always just thinking about what's going on
01:17for the band. Coming up with all the ideas, right? Yeah, you gotta have those people.
01:21Um, yeah, so I spend a third of my time here. Uh, the rest of the time up there. Um, we'll
01:26get to that. We, uh, yeah, so we got, got a driver, Robbo. Whoa, I feel a little bit
01:30of water coming out of here. It's so cold. Um, yeah, Robbo, he's a tour manager. He's
01:35also the driver. He's also the roadie. Um, he kind of keeps everything in line for us.
01:40Sometimes security. Security as well. Yeah. I mean, he's got, he's a jack of all trades,
01:43really. Yeah. Um, and then Gunnar, our, uh, our, you know, trustee, uh, drummer. Yeah.
01:49We kind of leave him to do. Sometimes he's a trustee drummer, but he's usually a trustee
01:52driver. It's trustee driver. Yeah. I mean, we, we really rely on him to drive. Um, and
01:57then everybody else straight. So everybody else on the tour really relies on Gunnar for everything,
02:02like setting up all the drums, all the gear. Yeah. He's pretty much like managing the whole tour.
02:09This is about all the power you're going to get on one of these Walmart, um, RVs. And
02:14links to, so we've been told we're not rock and roll enough because we don't have our own tour
02:18bus, but you just wait one day when we get our own tour bus, we're going to put the dog on the
02:23door on that as well. But I'll get back to this. Uh, the power strip, super great for the drivers,
02:30right? A little bit like this is some old school technology, right? Bluetooth. Um,
02:34so you can kind of scan, find out what frequencies, uh, work for your phone.
02:38We brought a bunch of CDs to put in here, but you know, as you know, they just coasters for drinks.
02:45So, um, that's it. I mean, we just drive up here. No fun up here. I'm never up here.
02:53We keep the AC cranks, um, even in like the colder weather. Yeah. It brings us back to our
02:58New York roots. Like, you know what I mean? Like the Arctic feel like, so we don't miss home too
03:02much. Yep. It kind of brings back that feeling of being in New York in the middle of winter,
03:08even now, or even middle summer in April. Yeah. It snows all the time in New York. So, you know,
03:12you want to get that little bit of that what you're feeling. Um, so we keep it cranked. Yeah.
03:17So, uh, this is like what we call the Beluga Cove. Um, normally the bigger guys sleep up here,
03:23but, um, unfortunately, uh, I've kind of taken over this whole area. Um, I share it with Scotty
03:29and Gunner, um, when we're not driving, um, you're a lead singer, you know, you've got,
03:35we've got to get some sleep. That's where you pivot. Like the rules all change for the lead
03:39singer. You got that LSD, right? Lead singer disorder. Um, sure. And, uh, whatever he wants
03:45goes. So, well, you know, um, not always, but, um, you know, the thing is, uh, there's a lot
03:51less movement here. Um, so you kind of stay a little bit more steady. Um, unless, unless Gunner's
03:56driving, there's a little bit of this going on, but, um, you're up here, you're pretty safe. Uh,
04:01in the back, not so much that suspension, you know, you're, you're probably like jumping like
04:05five inches off the bed. So, uh, so I try to stay right up here. Um, I even use, um, I use
04:12some of their pillows and blankets and stuff. Um, as long as it doesn't smell bad. Oh, is that
04:16Gunner's? Is that Gunner's like trusty pillow? I use this all the time. 2003. There's the Alice
04:23Cooper pillow. The pillow's really great. Um, it's very stiff. I kind of like, you know, a stiff
04:29pillow. Nobody likes it. Um, I see, I see Gunner's got some of his bands up here. I use these like
04:35when I'm up here, like I use it for my legs, keep them in shape and whatnot. Um, and then, uh,
04:41and then Robbo's got like a bag worth of stuff. I'm not really sure what's in that. Um, I, uh,
04:48Robbo's really big on bags. You're going to find out in a little bit when we hit the back of the
04:52RV. Um, you're going to find out what happens with the bags, but there's bags everywhere. Robbo's
04:57got bags everywhere. So, um, yeah, so like, you know, this is kind of like where Scott, Gunner
05:01and I, we live here. Uh, we sleep here and then we pivot right back into the driver's seat. Um,
05:11so then you got two, uh, you got a seating area, low seating area here. Um, these things kind of
05:17like fold down into beds. This is like a futon that folds out into a bed. None of them are
05:21comfortable. Like the most uncomfortable. I mean, the back is worse, mind you, but this is the next
05:28right here. This is the word. Yeah, for sure. That was not too bad. This one was,
05:33but just imagine like the big crew guys getting up into Beluga Cove. It keeps them out of there.
05:38So, um, but yeah, so we, we did have a sound engineer that was out with us. Um, as a crew
05:48member, he actually fell out this window here. He was supposed to drive. Um, he was getting paid
05:53to drive before he even did the sound. Uh, he did no driving. We left them in the Midwest
06:00somewhere. Um, because he was taking up this whole bench seat. Uh, we wish him luck and we hope he
06:09comes home safe. Love you, Mark. Make it back safe. Love you, Mark. Um, but yeah, so like,
06:14you know, pretty much anybody who's not driving, uh, needs some sleep. Uh, these are like the two
06:18next best places to sleep. It's an even better place to hang out though. So sleep is discouraged
06:24here. Um, we don't encourage sleeping. We like to make set lists here, have, have conversation.
06:30You know what I mean? Sometimes when you're on the road, it's good to just, you know,
06:33it's a good spot to like even write music. And, um, it's cool. Cause like the four of us boys
06:38have lived together for seven years in the same house, which is unusual unless you go back to the
06:431970s. Right. So, um, weird. It's like a band concept. And, uh, we actually wrote this song,
06:51dizzy right on the road. Scott's jamming on it a little bit, but we just, we bring acoustic
06:57guitars on here. Um, you know, I'll kind of give Scott a little bit of a direction with his lead
07:03guitar playing, you know, sure. He takes it and runs with it. Yeah. Pretty much all the business
07:11is done right here though. Um, a lot of video editing, photo editing, um, got our, our laptops,
07:16you know, our cameras, everything on tour with us. Cameras are big because we're,
07:21we're trying to put together a show called the rock and roll circus show. It's the peak behind
07:24the veil of what happens with the four of us living together, taking vacations together,
07:30going on tour together, try not to kill each other. So it's pretty fun. It's successful so far.
07:36Everybody's alive except for Mark. Cause we don't know.
07:40We love Mark. Real good sound engineer. Not a great driver though.
07:45Really good sleeper though. It says he can't eat. It says he doesn't have night vision. So, um,
07:50that's, that's a thing. So up here, you know, we got some storage, um, quite a bit of it. Um,
07:55it's kind of been taken over by, uh, this is all taken over by Robbo. Um, uh, well, he's got pills
08:02from like India up there to keep us from like catching all kinds of diseases. Look at he's got
08:08like these like odor stuff, like the foot things. Um, Mark's Mark's feet didn't smell too great. So
08:13um, he bought him new shoes, women's shoes. Um, he didn't know, but they were women's shoes.
08:18He took the shoes right off of his feet and he threw them out in a Walmart parking lot.
08:23And that was it. The guy didn't fight back. Cause like we said, he was sleeping 90% of the
08:27tour. So horizontal the whole time. Um, so, uh, while he was sleeping there, uh,
08:32Robbo was kind of taking care of the whole, like the smell, um, you know, of course you need some
08:39of the, you know, armor all for the glass. And I'm not sure what this is. Um, he's got his bag
08:45up here. This, you know, all those pills, uh, we like to do a little bit of, um, you know,
08:51working out and stuff like that. So, um, try to stay fit on the road.
08:57That's why Gunner's also a professional arm wrestler. So he's got all these weird, like
09:02weights and bands and stuff like that. We just go to planet fitness. We'll show you our little
09:08routine that we get ready for that. We just show up in a new city, um, do a workout at
09:15planet fitness, get a shower, planet fitness, sponsor us. And then we got, uh, we've got some
09:21more storage up here. This is kind of where I keep all the camera footage. Um, uh, the batteries,
09:27you know, we've got GoPros up here and then, um, these things to really come in handy. Um,
09:32the Jackery's, uh, so yeah, Jack response to us. Um, so the thing is, you know, with these, uh,
09:37with these RVs, you can't really get any power back here in the one 10, um, outlets, unless you're
09:43running the generator, which they charge you for. So, um, we're poor, we're a band. We don't really
09:48make a lot of money. So, um, we got Jackery to kind of save the day so we can plug our phones in,
09:54plug the cameras in, um, get yelled at by Chad. If you turn on too many outlets on the thing is,
10:00you know, the thing is like, and I'll give you a little tutorial, not to make it too long,
10:04but you only have to press the one location that you want to press all of these. And so what that
10:10does is like, you start taking some Watts away. Right. Um, so, you know, you're kind of killing
10:15the battery and we're relying on each show to kind of like charge these things. So I got to
10:20keep these guys in line a little bit. So, um, the organizer for sure. Yeah. And that's why I got to,
10:25just to be safe. These guys are a reckless loose cannons. So I got to keep them in line and I got
10:31to have some backup, you know, ideas, reckless without chargers. So this is the kitchen area.
10:36Um, as you can see, it's, it's used pretty, um, often, uh, this thing keeps popping off.
10:42Yeah. Like when we hit a bump, like the handle just, it comes flying off and like makes a big,
10:47loud noise. So we just kept it off. So we decided to keep like cleaning utilities. I'm not sure who
10:52threw a water bottle in here, but, um, this is my, uh, my, my tea bottle. Um, clearly it's got
10:57to be washed a little sticky right now. Oh, don't forget. This is huge right here. Yes. Um, so this
11:01saves the day for me, a little water heater, right? Like a, like a, it's just like kind of
11:06like a Bunsen burner pretty much, but this comes in handy for tea, um, as well as netty pots.
11:12If you watch any of our social media, you'll see I'm frequently found with a netty pot. Um,
11:17got to keep that nose clean on the road. What happened to Keurig? Keurig bit the dust. Robbo's
11:23idea, our crew guy, he wanted coffee on demand. Uh, first bump we hit, that puppy hit the ground.
11:31There's the best 30 bucks I've ever wasted. There's remnants of it right now. Um, so like,
11:35if you want to put your coffee grind in something, this is what you would get. Um,
11:38it's the only thing that survived. So also there's lore out there. Um, our crew guys,
11:43uh, kind of drove back a little bit of a long stretch when we had a break. And then, um,
11:49this microwave kind of showed up like this. So there's question, um, did the microwave do this
11:55to itself? Did somebody fall into it? Did the microwave just want to get out of this RV that
11:59is falling apart? No one knows. We'll find out later. Um, definitely cool. You got, you got a
12:05little kitchenette stove and everything. I'll show you. We were going to bring meat provisions
12:12and eat healthy. We brought nothing. Um, well, so we quickly, we just don't eat. We quickly found
12:18out that the, uh, the fridge and freezer don't work. Um, so I'm going to use the propane. So
12:24that's really fun. Well, the pro I had the propane running. I mean, the freezer worked a little bit.
12:28It got kind of as cold as like the fridge would. But, um, so we're like, yeah, uh, we'll probably
12:32just not use it now. Um, but we, we also, you got to keep in mind. So we're on tour with all
12:37these metal bands and we love metal. We're hard rock too. Um, but we renamed the tour against
12:44everybody else's will to the it's summer somewhere tour. So we got to say, you know, nice and cut,
12:50keep the striations going. So instead we got to keep it clean, right? We got waters. There's a
12:57couple of IPAs. Clearly we didn't drink them. They were nice gifts from people. Thank you. Um,
13:02love our energy drinks. This is maybe once a day. This is a good time. Um, a, uh, Hey monster,
13:10sponsor. Um, we, uh, pretty much live off of monster rain. Electrolytes. Pedialyte. Yeah. Um,
13:17um, we have a little sparkling water here in case the crew wants to get fancy tonight.
13:22That makes him feel good. Where do we get those? I don't know. Uh, someone gave us some wine. Um,
13:28good in the morning. Clearly it's been cheese. Yeah, clearly it's been, uh, Jesus doesn't stay
13:32well in here without the propane going though. Pretty much. Um, gotta be eating it right away.
13:36Water essential one time. Um, I think we were in, where were we? San Francisco. It was somewhere
13:42around the West coast and we didn't communicate very well. I think the thinkers were in the back
13:47thinking. Um, and, uh, we bought like six extra packs of water. So we were really good on water.
13:55Always good on water here. Yeah. Um, and then up here you kind of keep all like the, uh, the
13:59goodies. Um, we've got some mixed nuts. Um, these things are pretty much like, uh, I live and die
14:05by, um, the Ritz, uh, love Ritz. Haven't had that since I was a child. Uh, you know, Pedialyte
14:13shout out Pedialyte. Um, you got some breakfast bars. Um, yep. Throw coat. This is pretty much
14:20every day. Um, using throw coat with a little bit of this, uh, honey ginger tea. Um, it's always
14:26great. Kind of loops up the throat a little bit. Um, gets a voice going or loves the loop. Yes he
14:30does. Um, and then like, you know, the morning routine, it's like having your, uh, your thermogenic,
14:36your, uh, after a little super, super foods and greens. Oh, and don't forget dude, my treat.
14:43Oh man. Fish. This is pretty much lives off during, during, uh, the pandemic pizza goldfish
14:50like went away. It was terrible. It was such a hard time for us. Oh, I want to sponsor too. Show,
14:56show my RX bars. They're in the little, the little paper bag there. The only thing I do
15:04Oh yeah. I gave you one of these. So basically we basically like every city we go to, we like
15:09to make it fun. It's what we're all about. So like we're in Chicago, we're having burgers and
15:13dogs, some deep dish pizza, you know, new Orleans we're having seafood. Scott just won't eat
15:19anything. He just eats RX bars and these weird tuna and chicken snack on the run. Chicken sale.
15:24I mean it's very low calorie. So I'm not sure if it's like real chicken or it's, it's real as it
15:30can be. It's, it's in like a can. So that's good. It's canned food. They come in a can. I heard
15:35that's like back in the wild west. That's what they used to eat is canned food. You know,
15:38it's crazy. They were pretty ripped. Okay. All right. So pretty much what we got here is
15:46the shower here has turned into nothing but storage garbage. Um, we're not going to use
15:53the shower. Um, we don't have time to stop at a KOA or a truck stop. So good place to hang,
15:59you know, maybe some towels, um, throw your garbage out, keep the stank in here. Um,
16:06so we'll just leave that and not go in there again. Um, for this room, I'm going to bring
16:11you in, but then I'm going to bring a special guest. Okay. So this is very, this is very
16:15critical to the whole, um, flow of this band. Um, this is the bathroom. There's two rules on this
16:24bus. Number one, absolutely no number twos and number two, unless it's an emergency,
16:32no number ones. Um, you'll see in here, sometimes there's an emergency, but bottles are good.
16:38Don't use the toilet, right? Um, you'll start to ask questions when you see toilet paper though.
16:47You'll start to ask questions when you see the bag here, I'm going to close the door
16:51and I'm going to bring in a special guest from our crew.
16:55Robbo. I'd like to introduce you to our tour manager, Robbo. Tell us about these bags.
17:00Let's let's, I can do a tutorial on the bags.
17:06The bags are an essential part. I mean, if you've got an emergency, it's much easier to take a leak
17:13in a bag than is it a bottle? A leak behind you. So we know who's not using the water bottles.
17:19And in case you got to do a number two emergency, you got this all lined with the bag there. It's
17:23all set to go. Toilet paper, tie it up, you knot it. Everybody at our day jobs wants to know
17:31who is responsible for our very first stop on tour. We're in Nashville. We are parked at a
17:38Planet Fitness doing our routine, just getting it going, right? Like we know we're going to do this
17:42all tour. We leave the locker rooms and the restrooms and the facilities. We come in here
17:48and my man Robbo here shows us how to use the bags firsthand. I thought Scott was going to
17:54lose his mind, especially since Robbo tied it up like a doggy poop bag and was going to put it in
18:01the garbage in there while we're parked next to a dumpster. Fun times. I didn't see a dumpster.
18:08So welcome back to kind of like where Danny's lair is. His thinking lair, he calls it. I kind
18:16of take it over a little bit. This is me trying to figure out what shirts I want to wear today.
18:19We see the thing is, you'll see they're all Wicked shirts. So it's our apparel. We end up
18:25actually buying our own apparel because Chad's just so jacked after Planet Fitness that he ends
18:31up just getting jacked up for a show and tearing these things off like the Thunder Cannon he is.
18:36So we got a lot of extra apparel that we buy ourselves, put back into the band fun,
18:41and Chad gets ready for the next show. Yeah, sorry about that. This is my thinking lair.
18:47Not the best place to sleep while driving. You do kind of like get a little bit of air,
18:52about five inches off of the bed here if the bed doesn't slide forward. But I think of it like a
18:59paint shaker. Like you're trying to like really like just put yourself to the test, right?
19:04Because then once you're done sleeping, the day won't be that hard. Exactly. But otherwise,
19:10we got a bunch of storage back here. Pretty much Chad and I fight for space. And right now,
19:16we eliminated one person, as we mentioned earlier. But like with that one extra person, typically,
19:21we're always on top of each other. And we're like this close, trying to like get into a bag.
19:27And it's like, yo, why are you always going to be on top of me? Well, it's always at the same time.
19:30So I kind of get, you know, annoyed. I try to take my certain time to come back here. We might
19:35be too like-minded that we're always doing the same thing. And then you got a lot of stuff back
19:40here, right? Like microfiber towels for Planet Fitness, right? These things dry really quick.
19:46Just go to like a Runnings or some kind of like, you know, Bass Pro Pantene thing,
19:52save the camouflage, get the microfiber. Otherwise, we're storing like all kinds of
19:58Chelsea boots back here. We'll get into storage full of boots and whatnot. I think eventually,
20:05if you get a little angle here while I'm sleeping here, one day this is just going to all come down
20:10and guillotine, you know. But until then, we'll keep rocking. I've got a whole bunch of stuff back
20:18here. I've got my hat collection, big on like the Newsboy hats, New York Dolls kind of thing.
20:28This is my Planet Fitness bag. This goes with me into the gym. Clothes bag,
20:33got to have the shoe bag. Stole this, I think, from one of the ladies on the road.
20:39Pretty, I like it.
20:43Got to have your slippers because here's the worst thing is, if you don't think about all of your
20:49shoe wear when you go on tour, you're going to be severely missing out. You can't just go out
20:54with one pair of shoes. You got to have your stage shoes. I got my, you know, doing the media shoes.
21:00This is the load-in shoes. They're kind of like slippers, some tucks. They just slide right on,
21:06but the slippers here, you're going to go through rain, you're going to go through snow,
21:11all different weather elements. You don't want to be tracking that shit in here. We got vacuums,
21:15we got Swiffers, we're OCD. Just put your slippers on in the RV, man. That's it. Keep
21:21your socks clean. And then, you know, I got my corner now, like finally, as of like the past
21:27three days. I got my clothing bag. I've got my bag full of computer stuff. Clearly a smaller
21:36cabinetry. I'm second. I guess I'm not as important as him. I am the band dad and the band leader,
21:42so I always got to get first dibs. Of course. But Chad's second. It makes sense. So yeah,
21:49I'm kind of like resorted to keep my, I got a Jeffrey West boot collection. I keep that below
21:54the fridge. I've got like, yeah, I've got like three boots that I keep down there. Hopefully
21:59nobody spills anything because everything's going to go down there and destroy that. So
22:04yeah, this is kind of like, I don't really spend too much time back here,
22:07unless I need to like grab, you know, a pair of shorts or whatever. My cons in case I'm,
22:14you know, stepping out to grab some gas. Yeah, pretty much as much time that I spend back here.
22:20Just a lot of thinking back here. Just thinking. So not much space for other people.
22:26Thanks for coming on our Cruise America RV tour bus. We're Wicked. You can find us at
22:34WickedRockAndRollOfficial.com. All socials at Wicked Rock and Roll. Stream the new music.
22:41We have a new album out called Sunburn. We have another new album out like probably towards the
22:46end of the year. So keep an eye out. We just hope to stay on the road and and bring out more
22:52different sorts of transportation so we could show you what we're up to because I think it's
22:59only going to get weirder. Hopefully we elevate a little bit more from here. Can't get any worse
23:04than this thing.
