00:00Previously on Unexpected...
00:02We have the flu.
00:04Wow.
00:05I felt awful hearing the news that it was the flu,
00:08but I'm too scared to go over there
00:10because I know how contagious it is.
00:12This could, like, run into the wedding.
00:14This is, like, nightmareville.
00:15Oh, my God.
00:17I'm worried that the wedding is doomed.
00:20How are you feeling?
00:21Well, I still am numb, so...
00:24Now that the baby's here,
00:25I'm actually planning on moving into Terran
00:27since my biological mom hasn't been in my life.
00:32I just think Terran could give a little bit more advice
00:35and help with me and the baby
00:38rather than my dad because Terran's breastfed.
00:41My dad's obviously not.
00:43Didn't work out.
00:44So, what are your thoughts about induction?
00:46It's almost good.
00:48He's excited now.
00:50I'm happy for Kaylee because she has her induction date,
00:53but I really don't think that she fully understands
00:55what's actually coming.
00:57So, we should call Becky.
01:00Your call has been forwarded.
01:02Okay, then I guess you don't get to know.
01:04Oh.
01:05Graham and his mom
01:06haven't really participated in the pregnancy,
01:08and it worries me.
01:09I'm really hoping we could talk about
01:11what all is actually going on before baby comes.
01:15I see a very great life for me and Day Day in the future
01:20as long as I don't let my mom get in the way,
01:23but it's really easier said than done
01:26as long as I'm still living in her house.
01:28Since you got a washer and dryer in your house.
01:32Day Day is welcome at my home anytime before 12 a.m.
01:36As far as overnight, that's not an option at my house.
01:39It would help a nice a lot
01:41to have both parents in the same house.
01:44No.
01:53About my rambling heart
01:55But she was the only light in my dark
02:00Hello?
02:01Hey.
02:03How far are you guys?
02:05About five minutes away.
02:08Okay.
02:09See you then.
02:11Graham and his mom are on their way here
02:14to discuss the plan for Kaylee's induction.
02:16I think it's a good idea for all of us to get together
02:20and talk about the plan for labor
02:23and before labor and after labor.
02:29And I'll also have Robo Easton.
02:32It's gonna be fun.
02:34Are you ready for them?
02:36Heck no, look at this house.
02:38We should have been cleaning last night.
02:40You know what, I just worked 3 12-hour shifts,
02:43so I really wasn't wanting to.
02:50Do you want to put these in the fridge?
02:53The refrigerator even needs to be cleaned.
02:56Everything needs to be cleaned.
03:02The plan is what needs to, you know,
03:06we need to have that talk
03:08because we haven't really talked about anything yet
03:11about Easton or, you know, like the birth plan or anything.
03:16But I am a little bit nervous.
03:20At this point in Kaylee's pregnancy,
03:23I do think it is time to get together
03:25and have a plan as to, you know, what's gonna happen
03:29when she goes into labor
03:31because Graham or Kaylee kind of don't tell me things.
03:34I'm not even sure if I'm gonna be in the delivery room
03:37or supposed to be in the delivery room when Easton is born.
03:39So hopefully we'll be able to figure some of that out today.
03:44You ready to be a daddy?
03:46You're not ready.
03:48Hell, ain't nobody ready to be a damn daddy.
03:51What are you talking about? Ain't nobody ready to be a mama.
03:53You just, you get it cast upon you
03:56and you figure it out and do the best you can.
03:59All of us meeting up at Kaylee's house makes me nervous
04:02because I know that Kaylee expects a lot from me.
04:06Honestly, some days I'd like to just be a teenager
04:10without having a kid or a girlfriend,
04:12but that's just not an option.
04:15I think they just arrived.
04:17Holy moly, looks like a bunch of pigs live here.
04:21I was thankful that they actually all showed up.
04:24Yeah, because at times it's almost like Graham
04:28and his mom don't want to be involved.
04:31It just, there's always an excuse.
04:34Where's she at?
04:36Are you just walk-in?
04:38Yeah. You don't even know?
04:40No.
04:42Just walk on in.
04:44Oh, yeah, it's a mess.
04:46No, trust me, it's not.
04:48Ours is a mess.
04:50I haven't seen Easton in forever.
04:55The couple times I've seen Becky,
04:57she seems really excited about being a part of Easton's life,
05:00but when we're not face-to-face,
05:02she doesn't ever seem to follow through.
05:04I'm hoping today will be my opportunity
05:06to be able to get the real story on what's going on with Becky
05:10and why she's sick all the time and not being able to help out
05:13because the one thing these kids are going to need is help.
05:16Need some help with something?
05:18Uh...
05:20Baby robot Easton is in here.
05:23Hey, Graham, you're going to feed it.
05:29I feel like Graham should take this as practice
05:32because even though it is fake,
05:35it is a good way to learn what a baby needs.
05:40Get the head.
05:42That's what I'm doing.
05:44Okay.
05:46You'll be there for 30 minutes.
05:50This ain't my grade. Why am I doing it for you?
05:53Because you have to learn.
05:55I am not looking forward to take care of that robo baby
05:58because it's a robo.
06:00He's a robot. He don't have emotions.
06:02It's not Easton, so I'm not worried about that baby.
06:05It is Easton. That's his name.
06:07No, that is not Easton.
06:09That is not Easton.
06:11I feel like I'm more ready to become a parent
06:14because I put in all the learning.
06:18And what have you done?
06:21I really hope you're the better parent because you're the mom.
06:24You're the dad, too.
06:26That's supposed to be there.
06:28Do I provide milk?
06:30That doesn't have anything to do with me being a good parent.
06:34No, I mean, I can't just...
06:37You can still hold him.
06:39Yeah, I can hold him, but, I mean,
06:41I can't just feed him whenever I need to.
06:44Plus, you know how babies are.
06:46They always want to be with their moms, so...
06:53As in you?
06:55As in Easton.
06:59I'm going to take a picture of you.
07:02I'm going to take a picture of you feeding that baby.
07:07That's hilarious.
07:10You'll be doing that forever.
07:13What if I take it off?
07:15Stop. It'll cry.
07:17Do you think you guys would come with me in the living room
07:20and we can talk about the whole birthing plan
07:22and maybe Rob and Jeff can go out and hang out and drink a beer?
07:25With Kaylee's induction only a few days away,
07:28I really think it's important that we're all on the same page.
07:31Yeah.
07:33All right, Kaylee.
07:35Have you thought about when it's actually time and you go into labor,
07:39who all you would like to be in the delivery room with you?
07:42How many people did he say you could have?
07:44Four.
07:45It was four.
07:46So I was thinking you and Chloe,
07:49because Chloe needs to be there
07:51because she's been there for me the whole time.
07:54I want my mom and my sister in the room with me
07:57because they've been very supportive throughout my whole pregnancy,
08:00unlike some other people.
08:02And then Graham and Becky because Graham's going to need it.
08:06Graham's going to need it.
08:08I know he will. He won't pass out in the corner.
08:11So I get to be there?
08:13Honestly, I don't know that Becky really earned the right to be in the delivery room,
08:18but I'm letting Kaylee make her own decisions,
08:21and if she's counting on Becky to be there for Graham,
08:23I feel that I need to sit down with her to come up with a real plan
08:27because so far I haven't been very reliable.
08:38We got to get you dressed.
08:40Okay.
08:43It's been a couple of weeks since we left the hospital with Anais,
08:46and today is Anais's christening.
08:50And it's really important to me because my family is very religious,
08:55and, you know, my mom christened me and my brother,
08:59so I just felt like I should do it for Anais.
09:02Okay. I ain't got much left.
09:04I just got to button it up.
09:07Whew.
09:09You making this a workout, boo.
09:11When it comes to Anais, I do most of the work by default
09:14since me and Dede don't live together,
09:17and he's not allowed to stay the night at my house,
09:19except I don't change diapers.
09:21Dede changes all of the diapers.
09:23I only change diapers when Dede's not around.
09:26Oh, yeah. His what?
09:28Oh.
09:29Here.
09:30Here?
09:32Catch this.
09:33Dede, don't throw the diaper.
09:34If you throw that, fam, what?
09:36You're going to change them right here.
09:37We're also going to change them in the back.
09:39Not going in the back.
09:40This is not enough space.
09:42He's still a rookie with the diapers.
09:45Sometimes they be hanging off Anais, but...
09:47You want me to squeeze his stomach?
09:49He got a loose diaper? Who will?
09:52He can't stand that until his poop come off the diaper
09:54because it's too loose.
09:56Ugh.
10:00Dede, doesn't he look handsome?
10:03He's, like, putting it on.
10:05He looks so cute.
10:08Mm, come on.
10:09Let's take a picture.
10:11Ooh, the sunlight look good.
10:17Ooh.
10:18Anais, close your mouth.
10:22Close your mouth.
10:29Dede.
10:33Are you asleep?
10:36I'm so tired because I've been working a lot,
10:38trying to provide, and when I'm not working,
10:41I'm usually at Anais' house until I get kicked out at midnight.
10:45Two twins, always sleeping.
10:48When Anais turned 18, she said she was going to talk to her mom,
10:51trying to balance the rules out about me standing over there.
10:54Like, what happened?
10:58Hi.
11:00All right, I'm ready.
11:02Mar, you look cute. You look like me.
11:05I guess we just twinning today.
11:09Dede has never spent the night at my house, ever,
11:12and I don't think he will.
11:15I didn't know Dede was coming to my house
11:18I didn't know Dede was coming to the house.
11:21Is he asking to spend the night?
11:25Why do you do always do the most?
11:28And then he look at me like, hey.
11:30Why are you pushing him away?
11:32Because you're just so cold.
11:34Anyways.
11:36I feel like Dede should be able to stay the night.
11:39Not every day.
11:40Just, you know, maybe weekends.
11:42But she's still not having it.
11:44That's right.
11:47Okay.
11:48Dede.
11:49Dede.
11:50This boy is always sleeping.
11:55Come on. We're leaving.
11:57Put him in the car seat.
11:59I feel like if my mom would let Dede stay the night from time to time,
12:03he would be less exhausted because, like,
12:05he wouldn't have to be driving back and forth from my house to his house.
12:09Come on, y'all.
12:12At this rate, I'm not really sure how much longer Dede will be able to, like,
12:16keep this up.
12:17Like, because I can tell that he's really drained.
12:20And it's just like I don't want him to get to the point where it's just,
12:23like, too much for him.
12:24And he just kind of, like, backs away.
12:26Come on, y'all. Let's go.
12:30And if he does leave, it'll be my mom's fault.
12:36Is that the hospital?
12:39It sure is.
12:41You're so freaking dysfunctional.
12:43I'm trying to help her with everything I can,
12:45but I feel like she's always yelling at me because I messed up
12:48or I didn't do something right.
12:50I really don't think it's fair.
13:06Cheers to going home today.
13:08Cheers.
13:09You guys ready?
13:10I'm just worried about the stairs.
13:14Yeah, that's kind of why I was asking the nurse yesterday,
13:16like wanting to know what you guys, what you can and can't be doing,
13:21because we want to help you out as much as we can.
13:26We got the all clear to leave the hospital.
13:29Wesley's healthy, and I'm doing okay after my emergency C-section.
13:33But I'm still in a lot of pain, and I'm not supposed to do much.
13:36So when we get back to Taryn's,
13:38I'm going to need to rely on Nate to help with Wesley.
13:42I don't want Taryn feeling like she has to take on the responsibility of my baby,
13:46like we made him, we take care of him.
13:51She can have him when he's having fun, though.
13:53Yeah, I'll take him.
13:55And if they need me, like if the baby's crying
13:59and I see that they're struggling to console him and figure it out,
14:04then I'll step in.
14:07Nate's changed all the goopy diapers so far.
14:10Since when?
14:11And he got peed on.
14:13He's got a good trim, yeah.
14:15He's strong.
14:16I make Nate change all the diapers.
14:18I even tried to bargain with her.
14:20I said, I'll change every two diapers, and then you change one,
14:22and then at night I'll change all of them, and she's like, no.
14:24I'm like, all right.
14:25My thought process on that situation is I grew him for over nine months.
14:30I birthed him, which was very traumatic for me.
14:34And I, like, feed him with my body,
14:36so the least Nate can do is change 90% of the diapers.
14:40Yeah, some of them will catch you off guard because you're not used to it,
14:43and you're like, oh, this one will be bad, and then it's bad.
14:46And Wesley likes to pee.
14:47A lot.
14:48On people.
14:50The first thing he did when the nurses set him down on the table after he was born
14:53was he peed on the nurse.
14:56And he's just carried on doing that.
14:58Thinks it's a game.
15:02It looks like his diaper.
15:03It looks kind of crooked.
15:05Definitely not right.
15:06Here's a tip for.
15:08Oh, that looks like it's going to pee.
15:09Yeah.
15:10And a tip for boy diapers is point the weenie down when you put it in there
15:14because otherwise they pee.
15:16Nate knows from personal experience.
15:17I do.
15:18If you don't point it down, it pees up, and it soaks their clothes.
15:22Do you want to grab a wipe and wipe the top of it?
15:25Grandma's checking Wes' diaper, making sure it's all good.
15:28Look how tiny it is.
15:30It's so clean.
15:31It just needed to be.
15:32Yeah, it just needed to be readjusted.
15:35Look at those legs.
15:37And they're going to put him in his first outfit.
15:39The outfit that we took you home in 16 years ago.
15:45It's crazy that my 16-year-old son is now a dad.
15:49Learning how to change diapers and swaddling a baby
15:52and holding a baby and feeding him.
15:56And he's still learning to shave his face.
16:00Do you remember putting this on Nate?
16:02I do.
16:03My little Wesley.
16:06I think with Nathaniel having a baby this young, first, let's say he was 30,
16:12I feel like I would have just been more of that grandma role.
16:15First, I kind of feel, not necessarily obviously that it's mine,
16:19but that I need to help more.
16:22Where if he was older, it would be like,
16:24come visit me instead of just come downstairs.
16:29Do I just crack it in?
16:31Yeah, just.
16:35Just tuck it in next to him.
16:37I'm just tucking you in.
16:38No, not that one, just tuck the blanket.
16:40Pull the blanket into the car seat.
16:44Can you help me?
16:45It hurts.
16:46Oh my goodness.
16:57Good job.
16:59Do you want me to come?
17:00Yep.
17:01All right, so let's see.
17:03You're okay.
17:05That's the thing we should have said.
17:11Wesley cries all the time.
17:18Baby.
17:20Will you get him?
17:31Oh, Bubba.
17:33Do you care if I just be right here?
17:35Yeah.
17:38Hold on, Bubba.
17:42Will you just stand in front of me?
17:44I'll hold this.
17:46Not that far.
17:48Neat.
17:51I'm holding you.
17:52You're the one ripping it all over the place.
17:53No, you're the one that's not even holding it up.
17:55Yes, I am.
17:56Okay, you can just set it over.
18:00No, over my shoulder.
18:03I still want to see him.
18:05I need to make sure he can breathe.
18:07Just hold it.
18:08I don't want you to.
18:09Well, it's a lot easier if I just hold it.
18:10Take it for you.
18:11Okay.
18:19Nate, can I see my phone?
18:21Yes, ma'am.
18:22What happened to the baby?
18:24Do you have it?
18:30Is it at the hospital?
18:32Sure is.
18:33Are you kidding?
18:34No, not yet.
18:35Oh my God.
18:36Emily, you're so freaking dysfunctional.
18:41I'm trying to help her with everything I can,
18:43but I feel like she's always yelling at me
18:45because I messed up or I didn't do something right,
18:48and I really don't think it's fair.
18:52I asked you two times if you had my phone, too.
18:56But we got the most important thing, so.
19:00In the three days since Wesley's been born,
19:02I have noticed that Emily relies on Nate a lot.
19:08He does the diaper changes.
19:10She wakes him up to help her feed the baby in the middle of the night.
19:14But then if he forgets something, then it's, well, Nate did that.
19:19Nate forgot that.
19:21And I just hope that she is able to communicate a little bit better
19:26when it comes to showing appreciation for him.
19:31There he is, and he's got it.
19:35They're like, you're back.
19:38I was like, yeah, that's the mom's phone, so.
19:41What'd they say?
19:42They said, oh, you might want that.
19:46I was focused on my baby.
19:47My baby.
19:49I don't really know what to expect with Emily moving in.
19:52It could go very easy, smooth, or it could go the opposite
19:57and she may not like rules I have or just expectations that I have
20:01for the kids in the house.
20:03It'll be kind of a learning process for me as well because I don't know,
20:07I don't know how to navigate supporting Emily as being a new mom
20:11and Nate being my son.
20:14So just all these unknowns building up, it's very nerve-wracking for me.
20:20What is your child's name?
20:22Anais Dequanfor.
20:25Any plans for any more babies?
20:28Yes, I do plan on having another baby once Anais is potty trained
20:33and he can feed himself.
20:36I want to talk to Becky alone so that maybe she would open up.
20:41I noticed that, you know, when Graham comes over, he's a little worried
20:44that you have your health issues and stuff.
20:47I'm not 100% sure what exactly you're going through.
20:50I'm hoping to find out for sure whether or not we'll be able to rely on
20:54Graham or Becky once Easton is here.
21:13Have you ever been Christian?
21:14No.
21:15See, you ain't walking with the Lord.
21:17Oh.
21:18Because you ain't gotten Christian or baptized.
21:20You don't got to be Christian to be walking with the Lord.
21:21Yes, you do.
21:22No, you don't.
21:23You can't go to heaven unless you're saved.
21:24Ask Google.
21:25But you're not going to go to heaven unless you're saved.
21:26How do you know that?
21:27Nick.
21:28Ask Google.
21:29It says it in the Bible.
21:30Ask Google.
21:31It says you have to be one of God.
21:32I try to go to church every Sunday because my church is really lit.
21:36Can't lie.
21:38I definitely appreciate that my family and Day Day's family showed up today,
21:43and I'm hoping that this christening just solidifies the fact that we're all
21:48a family now.
21:51At this time, would the parents, the godparents, and the babies to be
21:55dedicated, would you come forward at this time?
21:59Get the baby.
22:01Get the baby.
22:05Get the baby.
22:07Do you today recognize these children as the gift of God
22:13and give heartfelt thanks for God's blessing?
22:17We do.
22:18We do.
22:19Pray with them because you have a strong impact on your children.
22:24Teach them the right way.
22:26Teach them to love God.
22:29I feel like Day Day agreeing to having a nice Christian and being at the
22:33christening, he's just showing up as he should.
22:37He's definitely a good dad, and in a perfect world, we would be married
22:43and have a stable home, you know.
22:46It would be nice.
22:50All right, let's do the baby first.
22:52Oh, my God, he's going to be a monster.
22:54I'm crying.
22:57What is the child's name?
22:59Anais Dequan Gore.
23:01Anais Dequan.
23:04Dequan.
23:05Dequan.
23:06Dequan.
23:07Let me get it right.
23:09Gore.
23:10Yes.
23:11Anais, I lay hands upon you now to bless you.
23:16Amen.
23:17Amen.
23:20If it was in the future, I could see myself marrying Anais because I don't
23:25want to keep living in separate houses.
23:28But a lot of things have to happen before that happens, like a lot.
23:32I really hope Anais understands that I need to work at my own speed to be able
23:36to commit to things.
23:38Some things take time.
23:39I'm not about to jump into something I'm not ready for.
23:45Mama was a pistol.
23:46I'm a son of a gun.
23:54Where's the bottle now?
24:13Okay.
24:14It needed a butt change.
24:15I already changed it.
24:16You can ask Grandma.
24:17I just changed it right on the table.
24:19Well, it needed it again.
24:21I feel the robo-baby has been a good little practice for her on waking up in the
24:25middle of the night and having to attend to it.
24:28I just don't know that she's totally prepared for the real thing yet.
24:32And based on how Grandma's supporting Kaylee so far, I do worry that Kaylee is
24:38going to be stuck doing most of the parenting on her own.
24:43It's going to suck, but I do feel that it's going to be Kaylee.
24:49Ready to get in the hot tub?
24:51The moms are going to the hot tub.
24:53You guys got to clean Easton's room.
24:56All right.
24:57I'll get in later.
24:59I want to talk to Becky alone so that maybe she would open up and say things
25:04that she may not otherwise say in front of the kids.
25:07I'm hoping to find out for sure whether or not we'll be able to rely on Graham or
25:13Becky and being able to help out once Easton is here.
25:22Is this getting thrown away or what?
25:24No.
25:25Then what do you want it?
25:26Leave it.
25:27What do you mean?
25:28This is his room.
25:29Why are you taking out baby stuff?
25:31Because I didn't know where he wanted it at.
25:34You want to get in the hot tub or do you want to just stick her feet in the hot
25:38tub or do you want to get in the hot tub?
25:40It doesn't matter to me.
25:41I don't know if you want to.
25:42It doesn't matter to me either, but I'm putting shorts on.
25:44I am too.
25:45Okay.
25:46So I was thinking that me and Becky would get in the hot tub and just relax
25:50and talk.
25:52I need to know why that she's always sick, you know, and not be able to drive
25:57and not be able to participate in anything.
26:00And I want to be able to understand why Graham's always stressed and I'm hoping
26:05to be able to get to the bottom of it.
26:10Oh, look.
26:11The yellow bells are starting to bloom.
26:14They're supposed to get nice the end of the week and then, like, get cold again.
26:26So I noticed that, you know, when Graham comes over, he's always stressed and a
26:31little worried.
26:32He's always talking about how you have your health issues and stuff.
26:36I'm not 100% sure what exactly you're going through.
26:39Graham would tell me, well, Mom's sick.
26:41And I'm like, he didn't go into any other details.
26:44I'm like, she's sick for 30 years.
26:46You know, I'm like, I don't understand.
26:49And it's been going on since I was, you know, a teenager.
26:55It's just bipolar, have bipolar.
27:05So with the bipolar, is that the reason why you can't drive?
27:09I'll drive, but I don't like to, especially when it's raining and dark.
27:19OK.
27:21I'm really thankful that you were able to open up to me and let me know.
27:25I know it's personal.
27:26It's probably something probably hard for you to talk about.
27:28Yeah.
27:29But it is an eye-opener on my part.
27:33I do feel a little bit more sympathetic.
27:35But I do kind of feel like we should have had this discussion sooner, so that way I
27:39could have understood a little bit better what was going on with Becky and knowing
27:43that she is bipolar.
27:45I don't think the situation is resolved.
27:47There's still more to discuss.
27:48But this is a start.
27:50I feel like now knowing, like, actually what's going on with his mom, that, yeah,
27:55sometimes he needs to be with his mom.
27:57But, like, sometimes he needs to be with me, too.
28:00Because I am now his family, too.
28:03And we're going to be parents soon.
28:07You feel really weird tasting your food here.
28:09And we're, like, sitting at the bride and groom chair.
28:12I'm so depressed.
28:14We're having to choose her wedding cake.
28:16And that's just awful.
28:18Poor Lily is just, like, in hell.
28:33You ready?
28:34I'm ready.
28:35I wish Lil was here.
28:37Me, too.
28:38Doesn't seem right.
28:39It doesn't.
28:40I, unfortunately, was supposed to be Lily's food tasting with Lawrence.
28:44But poor Lily got the flu.
28:46So I'm doing what I can.
28:49I can do the cooking and drop stuff off and buy things and help that way.
28:54But I can't go in the house because I know how contagious it is.
29:00And I do not want those germs.
29:02I just feel terrible that Lily's by herself over there without me.
29:11Hello. How are you?
29:13Hi.
29:14I'm Miss Swan Lake.
29:15I'm going to bring you right inside for your food tasting.
29:17Great. Thank you.
29:18Thank you.
29:19So the new plan is just Jules and I doing the food tasting.
29:23I feel a lot of pressure having to pick the food for the wedding.
29:26I wish Lily was here.
29:29Hello, guys.
29:30Hello.
29:31Good to see you.
29:32Good to see you.
29:33I'm Charlie.
29:34Hi, Charlie. I remember.
29:36Nice to see you.
29:37Hi, Jules. Nice to meet you.
29:38Sorry we can't be here with the couple today.
29:39I know. Her and Lawrence should be sitting here.
29:41We're going to actually be video calling her so she can give her selections.
29:46Okay. Great. I hope you're hungry. We'll get started.
29:48Awesome.
29:49Perfect.
29:50All right. Thank you, guys. I'll be back.
29:51It's rare not to have the couple here for their tasting.
29:54Although I understand people get sick and I feel bad, I hope they feel better.
29:58But today happens to be the last day where Lily and Lawrence have to choose their menu.
30:02So we are very happy her mom and her sister will make those final decisions and we'll make it happen.
30:09Are we FaceTiming her now?
30:10I guess. Yeah. Right?
30:16Jules and I are going to FaceTime Lily so we can try to make her feel like at least she's sort of there
30:22and try to make her part of these decisions.
30:26What a mess.
30:28There she is.
30:29Hi.
30:30Hey.
30:31What's good?
30:32How you doing?
30:33I'm so glad you're home, Lawrence.
30:35Hi, Grandma.
30:36Hi, baby.
30:38How's the food tasting? Is it good?
30:40We're just about to start. They're about to bring it out.
30:43Mm-hmm.
30:44I'm so depressed.
30:49So this is a coconut chicken.
30:51So the chicken is treated with a Tuscan spice, seared off, and then put in the oven to finish off.
30:56Can you see it, though?
30:57Can you see it?
30:58Yeah.
30:59This is a dinner option or no?
31:01Yes.
31:02Don't you have that as a dinner option on your list?
31:05I had just Tuscan chicken.
31:09That's really good.
31:10Because I wanted to have one chicken dish.
31:12My God.
31:13Wow.
31:14Wow.
31:16I think you'd really like this.
31:17I don't know what Tuscan chicken tastes like, so...
31:21What were the sides that you chose? We're going to taste like the...
31:24I chose the garlic mashed potatoes and the julienne vegetables.
31:28You did? Okay.
31:29Because they had, like, glazed carrots and something else that's coming out.
31:32That didn't sound that good to me.
31:34That sounds good to me.
31:37I really appreciate that my mom and sister are able to go and do my food tasting for me.
31:43This is delicious.
31:45But all I can help but think is how the f*** am I supposed to pick out food when I'm not the one who's tasting it?
31:55All right, here comes the next round.
31:57Here comes the next. We're getting the salmon this time, I think.
32:00Salmon teriyaki with candied carrots? Great.
32:02Great. Thank you. You're welcome.
32:05Looks good. Smells good.
32:07I think the carrots are going to be good.
32:12Oh, wow.
32:13Incredible.
32:15The food that I'm seeing being brought to my mom and my sister looks incredible.
32:21Oh, wow.
32:22And I'm so f***ing jealous right now.
32:25Delicious. Delicious, though.
32:27People are going to love this. People are going to love it.
32:29That was great. Really good.
32:32And we saved the best for last, our filet mignon.
32:35With shallot demi-glace sauce made with garlic, shallot, red wine.
32:41Oh, wow.
32:42I can't wait to try it.
32:45Wow.
32:47It's like butter.
32:48It is like butter.
32:51Lily, the food is amazing here.
32:53We're going to try the cake next.
32:54We're trying the cake now.
32:55The first thing we're going to try is some different type of fillings that you can have on your cake.
32:59Okay?
33:00Butter cream, cannoli, a custard, and then a raspberry.
33:04Okay.
33:06Oh, my God. This is good, too.
33:08Hard choice.
33:10I'm stuck between cannoli, custard, or even the raspberries. Crazy. Like, that's delicious.
33:18I would almost choose...
33:19I don't even know what custard is.
33:21I would almost choose the custard over the cannoli.
33:24I think the cannoli cake with the first one, the first one with the chocolate.
33:29They're all filling.
33:30No, you're not understanding what I'm saying. The first one.
33:33No, no, no.
33:34The one that Mom just dug her spoon in.
33:37That?
33:38What flavor is that?
33:39That's the custard with chocolate mousse.
33:41No, yes, that one. The one Mom just pointed to.
33:43They're all filling.
33:44This is really difficult.
33:45Mmm.
33:46Mmm.
33:47They're all filling.
33:48This is really difficult.
33:49Mmm.
33:51I definitely see Lily, like, spiraling into this stress cyclone.
33:56She's really gonna lose it.
33:58I, I won't, this is hard.
34:00I don't really know what to say.
34:02The wedding's, like, literally in two weeks.
34:04And I don't know what the f*** I'm gonna do.
34:07I'm so sorry, Lily.
34:10But you know what? You'll be here when it counts.
34:12Yeah.
34:13On the big day, hopefully.
34:14I hope so, Lily.
34:16Hopefully.
34:17Mmm.
34:19Mmm.
34:20Because we can't do this without you.
34:22Mm-hmm.
34:24Of course it's really hard to see her like this.
34:26It's supposed to be fun, happy times.
34:28This is supposed to be, you know, good times.
34:34At this point, I feel like between sickness and now all of this stress,
34:39I feel like everything's been ruined.
34:42Is he...
34:51What did he do?
34:55Ugh.
34:56Did he bite your boob?
34:58Lily.
35:01Don't let him breastfeed anymore.
35:03This is crazy. He's too old.
35:11Oh, sorry.
35:18That's awful.
35:21Poor Lily is just, like, in hell.
35:25She's been home sick too long herself, sick with kids,
35:29back-to-back, weeks and weeks.
35:31And trying is just bad, bad timing.
35:34I just pray that they're all better before the wedding.
35:37Otherwise, oh my God, I don't even want to think about the what-ifs.
35:41You told me that that Pitocin's gonna wreck me.
35:45Well, the Pitocin's just, you know, forcing your body to contract.
35:50Starting the whole labor thing.
35:52That's what you want, right?
35:54If you don't want me to get induced, then I won't go.
35:57You know, it's your baby.
35:58Do you want to be induced? I'm not telling you what to do.
36:01Everything should be fine.
36:03We hope.
36:12Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
36:16Oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh, oh.
36:20Dang, you're gonna change him a lot, huh?
36:22You've got how many outfits?
36:24Just in case, like, he poops through it.
36:26Because I heard that newborns have, like, the worst poops.
36:29No, it's not bad.
36:31Just sticky.
36:3440 weeks pregnant, and tomorrow I'm getting induced.
36:37I wanted to, like, be induced so I can know the day and actually be prepared.
36:43And I'm definitely getting an epidural because I'm a small human.
36:47This is gonna hurt like a butt cheek.
36:51And that's all I know for now.
36:53So we're packing up all this stuff I need to take to the hospital,
36:57and then I'm ready to get it started.
37:03Hello.
37:05Hey, I was just calling about tomorrow.
37:09Mm-hmm.
37:10I talked to Graham earlier. I said, what are we gonna do? What's the plan?
37:13And he's like, I don't know.
37:15Which course? Yeah, he don't know anything.
37:18But I'm getting excited.
37:20Me too.
37:22I'm calling Becky to make sure that she and Graham knows to meet us at the hospital.
37:27I'm feeling better about things since I've talked to Becky.
37:30I only hesitate because I know Becky has health issues.
37:33I mean, I know she says that she will be there, but things happen.
38:04He's probably not gonna be happy about it.
38:06But I'll send him to school.
38:07And if anything goes wrong between then or he's at school or something, let me know.
38:12And I'll take him out of school and we'll get up there.
38:15Okay.
38:17I'll call him and tell him as well.
38:19I'm just gonna say, you know, y'all already knew this was coming.
38:23Yeah.
38:24They're like, well, it's induction day, so gotta go.
38:28Yeah.
38:30So...
38:32All right.
38:34Baby time tomorrow.
38:35Okay.
38:37Baby time tomorrow, yay.
38:40Okay, bye.
38:42I'll be back.
38:43I cannot wait to get this induction started.
38:46I just want him out.
38:48Physically, I am tired. I'm exhausted.
38:51And my emotions are whack.
38:56I'm a little delirious.
38:58She is a whole lot sassier.
39:00I don't know what's going on with her, but everything...
39:03She's got a lot of sass behind every remark she makes and the facial expressions.
39:09I think it's time she needs to have this baby.
39:12I just wish she would let him come naturally instead of being induced.
39:17It usually takes it a while, especially if your cervix is not already, you know, really thinned out
39:23to where they can actually start feeling you dilating.
39:25It may take a while.
39:27I could dilate fast.
39:30You hope.
39:31I could, because that softener could have just opened it up. That's all I needed.
39:37Well, I saw a video where that happened to somebody.
39:40Okay.
39:41I don't want you to get high hopes on that, because typically it isn't just like that.
39:48I watched a delivering health class, and it was pretty bad, but don't lie.
39:53I saw everything just come out of a girl all at once, and everything just exploding, it looked like to me.
40:00It was just crazy.
40:02But honestly, I don't know much about how inductions work.
40:06This is going to be an adventure.
40:09You told me that that Pitocin is going to wreck me.
40:13Well, the Pitocin is just, you know, forcing your body to contract, starting the whole labor thing.
40:20That's what you want, right?
40:22Well, I mean, I'm just thinking about, contractions are contractions.
40:27I don't think there's like any contractions that doesn't feel not painful, because you're pushing out a kid.
40:33She was telling me that, you don't want to get induced, it's going to hurt.
40:39I just, labor hurts.
40:41I'm letting Kaylee make her own decision about her induction.
40:45But, the Pitocin, I mean, it's forcing your body, you know, to do the contractions.
40:51And I tried to tell her, I was like, it's no fun, it's not going to be fun.
40:55You get contractions either way.
40:57Either way, you're right.
40:59But you're forcing your body into doing something, that it's not quite ready to do.
41:04Okay then, if you don't want me to get induced, then I won't go.
41:07No, it's your baby.
41:09You want to be induced, I'm not telling you what to do.
41:12I think everything should be fine.
41:15We hope.
41:19Next time on Unexpected.
41:21Can you hurry up so he doesn't get fussy?
41:29I know, but I'm sorry.
41:32I think I'm starting to resent Nate.
41:35And that scares me.
41:37I don't know sooner or later whether things will get better.
41:40But at this point, I'm not sure.
41:47Today is my due date, and it's still not her.
41:51And so, I'm going to get induced.
41:54I just can't be pregnant anymore.
41:56So, are you getting excited or nervous?
41:59Both.
42:01I don't know how I'm going to do this.
42:03Like, I don't know how I'm going to be, how I'm going to take care of this kid.
42:06Yeah, I want to do this in front of everybody, so y'all can like, you know.
42:08You know what I'm saying? It's serious.
42:10It's a little, you know, little token.
42:13Started reaching into his pocket.
42:15I'm like, what are you reaching into your pocket for?
42:17You know? What are you reaching for, a pen?
42:19You want to open it?
42:24Oh my God.
42:26I'm not bargaining with this little **** on how to live my life.
42:30You're going to get us killed.
42:32I feel like this custody battle is ruining everything for my son and I.
42:35It's ruining everything for my son and I.
