00:00And of course, with two a back in the fold at quarterback, you would expect that to happen
00:08again.
00:09Tyreek Hill, Raheem Mostert, Devon A. Chain, all close to 100% owned in fantasy football,
00:17George.
00:18And the interesting part is going to be the running backs, I think, because I think as
00:22we look at it, we would say that Hill, there's really nothing to talk about.
00:28But Mostert, to me, had one of those lucky fantasy seasons, you know, similar to maybe,
00:34you know, Jamal Williams a couple years ago.
00:36It's like, you know, touchdowns are not really something that you can guarantee from year
00:40to year.
00:41And a lot of its value was on that.
00:43You're seeing Devon A. Chain just going so much further down than Mostert.
00:48Mostert's an RB2.
00:50I'm not sure where A. Chain ranks in.
00:52I mean, I know that his total, as far as yards are concerned, also really low as well.
00:56But from what I saw from A. Chain last year, I mean, a healthy A. Chain, I think he's going
01:01to crush Mostert this year.
01:05A. Chain, I think, is the better back.
01:07All right.
01:08Everything you said is true, by the way.
01:10I think that's a great comparison, by the way, to Jamal Williams.
01:12I think Mostert's a better back than Jamal Williams was, but the touchdowns is very comparable.
01:17And then Jamal Williams hasn't sniffed that since.
01:20We know with Tyreek Hill, Sadie's a backing off.
01:24Because they're all afraid to be made to look stupid by Tyreek Hill.
01:27All right.
01:28So that gives Mostert and A. Chain lots of room to run here.
01:30And we know A. Chain has plenty of speed in his own right.
01:32He's not all that much further behind Tyreek Hill, as far as speed is concerned there.
01:38I do think he gets a bigger chance here.
01:40That being said, they're still going to come close to a split, so that's still an issue
01:45there.
01:46They're going to take one as, I guess, so much better over the other here.
01:49But I have A. Chain ranked as a running back 2, a top-end running back 2, so he's just
01:54outside my top 12.
01:55Mostert's a little bit better than that.
01:57They're both guys you'll want.
01:58That's the bottom line.
01:59They're both guys you'll want.
02:00The offense is going to cook.
02:01It should score points.
02:02I don't want to say at will, but they shouldn't have an issue here.
02:06Tua, I mean, I know that's the big thing here.
02:09Oh, yeah, I can't believe he got this amount of money.
02:12People get all upset about this.
02:13I don't know why, by the way.
02:14It's not your money.
02:15Is he the second-best quarterback in the league?
02:18No.
02:19But that doesn't matter.
02:20Is Dak number one?
02:21No.
02:22It's all about when you hit free agency, and they're going to push the envelope and be
02:24the next guy.
02:25All right?
02:26That's just the way it works.
02:27So I don't get all upset about this.
02:28Tua got the biggest contract and then Love passed him the next day.
02:31I said, Dak will pass him.
02:32The next guy who gets up will pass Dak.
02:34It's just the way it is in the NFL.
02:36So it is what it is.
02:37Tua is good enough to get the job done as far as the regular season, as far as fantasy
02:41is concerned.
02:42I think he's a lot like Dak in the fact that he melts under pressure against better teams
02:46in the playoffs, but we don't care about that.
02:48We don't care about our fantasy season and the fantasy playoffs, and Tua is more than
02:51good enough to get the job done.
02:53Yeah.
02:54And again, the fantasy scoring system is different for everyone.
02:57If you're playing in a league where interceptions are minus points, I always bring that up,
03:02like minus two, like a touchdown is six and a pick or touchdown is four and a pick is
03:07minus two, Tua has a different ranking in some leagues because he does throw a lot of
03:11interceptions.
03:12He throws 14.
03:13He threw 14 last year.
03:14So that's just important to note.
03:16Now, as far as A-Chain is concerned, his total on the season over on FanDuel is 775 rushing
03:23yards.
03:24George, he almost did that in three games last year.
03:28So you're telling me that if he's healthy for 17 or 16 or 15, that he's not going to
03:33go over a thousand yards?
03:34I mean, I don't know.
03:36This number seems wrong.
03:37I've got to do a little quick math here.
03:40All right.
03:41That's 46 yards a game if you play 17.
03:43I don't think he plays 17.
03:44You know I'm going to discuss this the whole show, right?
03:46I don't know if I'm going to assume any player plays 17, all right, especially running back
03:52here.
03:53So, but even if you, let's just say here, 775 divided by, well, let's say 14, just for
03:58giggles here.
03:59That's 55 yards a game.
04:00Craig, if he's not hitting that, something happened.
04:03He got hurt.
04:04He got badly hurt.
04:05They're going to use him, right?
04:06He'd have to have a major injury here.
04:08Yes.
04:09Give me the over on A-Chain and that totally.
04:12I think it's very low, extremely low here.
04:14I said, we can play this game with anybody.
04:17He gets hurt.
04:18Of course, he's not going to reach it, but we can, anybody gets hurt, they don't reach
04:20their number here.
04:21I'll take the over with A-Chain.
04:22Yeah.
04:23I mean, most are a good back to have, but A-Chain was a different level when he was
04:27in there last year.
04:28Meanwhile, Tua did get paid, as was reported earlier this week, over $40 million at the
04:34beginning of the week and has been crushed ever since, as it seems like on social media.
04:41I think, George, what people just don't understand is two opinions that I would have with this.
04:46The first opinion is that if you are a top 15 quarterback in the NFL, you're getting
04:51paid a lot of money because there are not 30 good quarterbacks in the NFL.
04:55I don't know why people have such a hard time understanding this.
04:59It's the most important position in sports.
05:02You're the top 15 in the world, you're going to get your $40, $50 million.
05:06It is going to happen.
05:07And then the second part about this entire thing, it is not as much as how good you are.
05:13It's about, you're about to become a free agent.
05:16So if you can become a top 15 guy, George, I would contend that if he had a similar season
05:22this year and next, and he became a free agent, George, he'd get more than $40 million from
05:29another team.
05:30I mean, did we not see what happened with Kirk Cousins this off season?
05:34If you're a free agent quarterback and you can play among the top 50% among your competitors,
05:41you're going to get the bag.
05:43Agreed.
05:44That's just the way it works in the NFL.
05:46All right.
05:47It's just the way it works.
05:48And plus, as most teams have to figure out, all right, if Miami didn't want to pay to
05:53her, who's quarterbacking the team?
05:56It's not like quarterbacks just grow on trees here.
05:58We always go, we'll have this guy start.
06:01Atlanta got lucky that Kirk Cousins happened to be a free agent.
06:03And Kirk Cousins, by the way, Cousins to a deck, they're probably all the same guy.
06:07All right.
06:08They're good quarterbacks.
06:09Sure.
06:10Top 15 quarterbacks, but they, you know, they all melt the big games, but if you don't have
06:12these guys, then you have nobody.
06:15All right.
06:16Then you have nothing to sell to your fans.
06:18All right.
06:19So it's just the way it is.
06:20These guys are top 15 guys.
06:21I have two in my dynasty league and it's a 16 team league.
06:25So I'm fine with that.
06:26It's only one quarterback start.
06:28I know he's good enough.
06:29Yeah.
06:30Well, well, you got to have some duds.
06:31Sure.
06:32Is he going to throw some interceptions?
06:33Sure.
06:34But I think in that league, it's four points for a touchdown pass, but only minus one for
06:36a pick, which I kind of like a little bit better than minus two for a guy like two.
06:41I can survive that.
06:42He doesn't run like we'd like him, but he's got, he's going to have some monster games
06:47because Tyree Kills is going to break a couple.
06:48He's a good, he's not, he's not an awful quarterback.
06:52All right.
06:53He, he's a good, solid quarterback.
06:54Yes.
06:55He's got trouble throwing no pass, but, uh, outside the numbers and still, uh, you know,
06:59and we can, we can nitpick every quarterback here.
07:01I'm not worried about Tua, not in fantasy world.
07:04If I was a Miami Dolphins fan, sure.
07:06I'm not even worried about him getting, leading me to a Superbowl, but we can say that probably
07:09about 20 quarterbacks, you know, there's only about maybe seven, eight that I truly trust
07:15that can lead me to a Superbowl.
