IANS's exclusive interview with Actor Adil Hussain

Adil Hussain is a versatile and accomplished Indian actor who has made a significant impact in the film industry with his powerful performances. During the Chitrashaala Film Festival, Adil Hussain opened up about his journey, inspirations, and experiences in an exclusive conversation with IANS. He opened up on film festivals contributing towards awareness of tribal issues. He said, “To create awareness, and what kind of awareness you want to create. Film festivals help bring forward all kinds of art to people. It is important to introduce art forms to all kinds of generations. India is a melting pot of tribes, cultures and art forms. It is important to bring awareness forward.” With a career spanning over two decades, he has worked in a wide range of films, including critically acclaimed projects like "Life of Pi", "The Reluctant Fundamentalist", and "Mukkabaaz", for which he won the National Film Award for Best Actor. He has also delivered memorable performances in films like "English Vinglish", "Highway", and "Aiyaary".
