00:00It's Messatstar.com. We're here at the Ride for Justice at Ride for Ryan event just before
00:06hundreds of bikers
00:09friends and family of Ryan Passy take off towards Crockford in Bridgnorth and the Widders pub
00:15We're talking with Jason Connon from the Justice for Ryan campaign and Adrian Passy, Ryan's father
00:23Jason, this is the sixth year you've done this event now. It must be
00:28It's really tough hasn't it?
00:31Yeah, I mean the support again as you can see here this morning is absolutely amazing
00:36Every year it just seems to get bigger and bigger. You know, we're fighting for justice for Ryan. This is a ride for justice
00:42we've always said we'll never give up and
00:45We're confident. We're getting closer and closer and thanks to these people
00:50Continuing to support us continue to keep our campaign out there in the public and we'll fight on until justice is done for aid
00:56Jill, Bill and the whole of the family. Yeah, the whole of the family out here today and Adrian
01:02It's going to be quite poignant isn't it? Your first stop is going to be in Starbridge
01:05You're going to ride around the ring road and then stop at the site of a former Chicago
01:11nightclub there. Yeah, we stop there
01:14We go four times around the ring road and then we go down the high street and we stop outside Chicago
01:19There should be quite a lot of people down there as well supporting this campaign
01:23And I want to say a big thank you to the public as well because they support this campaign every year and
01:29You know, my brother will be down there and my family with the yellow book. It's collecting donations and money. So just keep supporting it
01:37And Jason there is going to be an update. I know you've been working with the police on the
01:42Reinvestigation into Ryan's death any update on that? I know there's something. Yeah, I mean, you know what I can say
01:48We're in regular communications with the new detectives from West Midlands Police that are reinvestigating Ryan's murder
01:54We meet with them every couple of months a week. Yeah, there's obviously a lot of information
01:58We can't write the public domain just yet
02:00But West Midlands Police mark the anniversary will be releasing a video appeal out to the public
02:06So when that appeal comes out we ask again if the public can share that help us
02:11You know, we are getting closer and closer to justice and it may be the public that helps us get over the line
02:16Yeah, and as well as keeping the campaign in the public domain
02:21This is probably going to be a celebration today. It's when you come back to the pub
02:25There's families here. It looks like it's going to be a big event
02:29Yeah, I mean, I would love that, you know, you'd love to see everybody celebrating, you know, it's life and everything
02:35So that's what Brian was like. He was a cheeky chap
02:38and actually
