00:00I have been here for the past 2.5 hours. I have met women, doctors, staff and I have studied all the case files and medical files of the girls who have been murdered.
00:19In my opinion, this is a matter of criminal negligence. A lot of negligence has been done.
00:28The doctors here have repeatedly written in the girls' reports that there has been malnutrition.
00:36There are two girls, Geeta and Shruti. Their files clearly state that they were malnutrition victims.
00:43When I spoke to the doctors, they told me that 30% of the 1000 people living here are malnutrition victims.
00:54Their BMI is less than 18. 20% have different types of skin diseases.
01:01When I went inside, I saw that 46 women were kept in one small room.
01:08There is not a single bed and they are made to sleep on the floor without any mattress.
01:14The situation is such that if those 46 girls lie down, one will sleep on top of the other and only then will they be able to sleep.
01:24Two of the girls who have died, Pushpa and Geeta, were bed-sourced.
01:30The doctors have written in their files that this personal hygiene is due to negligence.
01:38Why was this negligence done? What is the meaning of being bed-sourced?
01:42The situation is such that a person is not able to stand in such heat.
01:47The AC is installed in the administrative office.
01:50But where 200-300 women are kept, not a single AC is installed.
02:00The girls themselves are asking for something to be done.
02:05The heat is too much.
02:07They have died due to overcrowding, malnutrition, heat and dehydration.
02:14It is such a shame that the minister has not come here yet.
02:18The secretary has not come here yet.
02:21They will sit in their air-conditioned rooms and people will die here.
02:25It is such a shame.
02:27According to me, an FIR should be filed immediately.
02:29All these people who are involved, who have died due to corruption and negligence,
02:36there should be a strict investigation.
02:39I am making a report and I will definitely raise this issue in Parliament.
02:44The minister should come here immediately.
02:47And the minister who is sitting in his air-conditioned room and doing press conferences,
02:52it is not his duty to come here and see the situation.
02:55Come and see what is happening inside.
02:58People are lying on the ground.
03:00Is this a way?
03:01You will treat mentally challenged, specially abled people like this?
03:06I came here two years ago.
03:08I did an inspection.
03:10I gave a very damning report to the government.
03:13Even then the situation was the same.
03:15And it was so bad.
03:17There was so much stench.
03:18Even today there is the same stench here.
03:20So I want to know that the ministers and officers of the government,
03:25they are sitting in their air-conditioned rooms and doing press conferences.
03:29They are ordering enquiries.
03:31Enquiries happen every time.
03:33Who will enquire on them?
03:35All these people should be named in the FIR.
03:37And there should be a good investigation on them.
