Impact of pornography on teenagers to be examined
New South Wales will become the first state to hold an inquiry into the long-lasting impacts of pornography on children. A standing committee will examine how violent and misogynist content affects mental, emotional and physical health. A report last year found that nearly a third of children had been exposed to pornography before turning 13. The inquiry will also look into the production and dissemination of deep-fake and ai-generated content.
