Harris didn’t preside over Netanyahu’s speech to Congress on Wednesday, instead choosing to stick with a pre-scheduled trip to a sorority event in Indiana, as antisemitic protests erupted near the US Capitol where fences were put up like in the days following the January 6, 2021, riot.

00:00They are tearing down and burning American flags, and spray painting and advocating for
00:11Hamas.
00:12I mean, it is not subtle.
00:13It's remarkable.
00:14It's out in the open in our nation's capital.
00:16Wow.
00:17Let's bring in RNC spokeswoman and Jewish activist Elizabeth Pipko to react to all of
00:20this.
00:22And I just want to talk about that for a moment, because those scenes were striking, and you
00:27juxtaposed that with what was happening inside the House chamber with big standing ovations
00:32for the leader of Israel, our ally.
00:36Someone who was trying to split the difference of applauding Netanyahu and supporting Hamas
00:41is the Democratic nominee for president.
00:43Kamala Harris was off in Indiana at a midsummer sorority meeting.
00:47That's certainly a choice, isn't it?
00:51It definitely is.
00:52Look, I've been asked countless times why I took this job, what people need to know
00:55about Kamala Harris.
00:56What is the choice right now in November?
00:58And I think the answer to all of that was on display today.
01:01I want everyone to understand the prime minister of Israel was here in the United States today.
01:06And regardless of what you think about him, he is the democratically elected leader of
01:10one of our strongest allies, right?
01:12He was here today speaking to the American people.
01:15And according to Axios, nearly half of elected Democrats were not in the room.
01:19Kamala Harris was not in the room.
01:21And again, when he was speaking to the American people, he was reminding them that their victory
01:25in Israel will be our victory.
01:27He was reminding them that he is fighting a war, that the Israelis are fighting a war
01:31right now, not just for themselves, but to bring home our American hostages, which have
01:36been held by this terrorist group for nearly nine months now.
01:39And he was applauding those that stood with the American flag against violent protesters
01:43in the last eight or nine months in this country.
01:45And while he was doing that, Democrats were not in the room, the vice president was not
01:50in the room.
01:51And as you mentioned, outside of the room, we saw far left protesters burning the American
01:55flag.
01:56Today is all anyone needs to know about the state of American politics right now.
01:59Elizabeth, she is pandering to try to win Michigan, at least that's how it seems right
02:04now.
02:05And she definitely drew a line in the sand today.
02:06It was after President Trump said that he would meet with Netanyahu later in the week
02:11that she said later in the week she would have a meeting with him too.
02:14But I'm thinking to myself, there's a handful of swing states.
02:16We also talked about some other states that are traditionally blue states that lately
02:21have been swinging or at least polling more towards the red side.
02:26You think about New York, you think about New Jersey, and you think about the Jewish
02:30populations that live there.
02:32This could ultimately backfire on her, I think.
02:35What do you think?
02:36100%.
02:37Look, the Jewish population is just part of the equation.
02:41There are Jewish voters in Georgia and Arizona and New York and countless states that they
02:45have to think about.
02:46But what I tell people all the time is this is not a Jewish issue, right?
02:49It's not just an issue for those who are of the Jewish faith or who support Israel.
02:52It's an American issue.
02:54What we saw today was an American problem, right?
02:57The leader of Israel was there and they weren't burning Israeli flags as bad as that would
03:00have been.
03:01They were burning American flags.
03:03Because if you stand for this kind of hatred, you stand against the USA.
03:06If you sprawl on a building that Hamas is coming, it means that you want the destruction
03:11of the United States of America as Hamas wants to do to us here in this country, the same
03:15thing they did to Israel on October 7th.
03:18So the problem is not just swinging the Jewish vote into the right.
03:22The problem is that any American with any sense of decency, with any sense of love for
03:26this country and with any of the fundamental values that I assumed before this that we
03:29all shared is going to swing against this kind of leadership because this leadership
03:34is not only dangerous for our ally, Israel, it's dangerous for any American.
03:37Well, it's Western civilization that they hate, they being the far left and the Islamists.
03:42That's the Hamas brigade here.
03:44And the U.S. and Israel are exemplars of Western civilization.
03:48That's what's at stake in that conflict.
03:50Now let's talk about what's at stake in this election.
03:52I remember in 2008, the torrid love affair between the media and Barack Obama.
03:57We're seeing a new version of that.
03:59It's just lamer for Kamala Harris.
04:02Watch.
04:03Harris made her first official campaign stop, and she did it with a delicious, and I mean
04:10delicious, dose of trolling Donald Trump and the Republicans.
04:14She understands what her message is.
04:16She understands message discipline.
04:18And she is, she's an extraordinary candidate on the trail.
04:24Kamala Harris is unleashed.
04:26She's just brilliant.
04:28I was blown away.
04:30I was like, I kind of fell in love with her.
04:32She was smart, engaging, she's funny, feisty, twinkle in your eye.
04:37Kamala Harris has had the single best first day of any presidential candidate in history.
04:44It's the modern equivalent of thrill up the leg, another 2008 callback.
04:49Some of that seems a little forced, especially when you hear from actual voters in swing
04:54states like this.
04:57I honestly need to get more information about Kamala because I just don't know enough about
05:06her.
05:07So I'm on a wait and see.
05:08I mean, as a school teacher, if I did not do what I was supposed to be doing, you better
05:15believe my job would be in jeopardy.
05:18Well, it isn't.
05:20Not only was her job not in jeopardy, she was just handed a promotion.
05:25She's worked with him.
05:26She's been, to my understanding, with him daily, or at least a couple of days a week.
05:32Why hasn't this been brought to attention if she's willing to hide that type of information
05:36Once she's in office, now what she's willing to hide for herself.
05:41When do you think America will have a female president?
05:46When there's a competent one.
05:48Just, I don't get a good feel for her.
05:50I think she's an idiot.
05:52Ouch.
05:54That was also on the same network where all the anchors were gushing.
05:57Yeah, were they?
05:58Yeah, which is, speaking of delicious, that was kind of delicious, Elizabeth.
06:03It certainly was.
06:04Look, my dad taught me something when I was a little girl.
06:06We were discussing politics and he said, never underestimate Americans.
06:10And I think that's exactly what the Democrats are about to learn.
06:13Rhetoric will only get you so far.
06:15When the American people have been living under four years of a Biden-Harris administration,
06:19they know exactly what they're getting with this ticket.
06:21They know exactly what they're going to get with this candidate.
06:24And no amount of Democrats on TV talking about how she's the shiny new toy is going to change
06:28their minds, right?
06:29The American people know what they deserve.
06:31They know that they've now been lied to by this administration and by Kamala Harris for
06:35years about Joe Biden's cognitive abilities.
06:37Who else, you know, knows what they've been lied to now?
06:39I think the obvious choice here is Donald Trump for me, but I think for anyone, the
06:43obvious choice is just not being lied to.
06:46They deserve better and they deserve at least a democratic process, which they were stripped
06:49of in this chance.
06:51And I think they're going to learn that the hard way on November 5th.
06:54Elizabeth Pipko, thank you so much.
06:56Great to see you tonight.
