00:00Orioles, of course, will have Trevor Rodgers making his first start since they acquired
00:07him from the Marlins earlier this week at the trade deadline.
00:10Ben Lively goes for Cleveland, who are minus 115 now, favorites Orioles minus 105 and a
00:17big fat nine.
00:18Like, you know, you talked about Rodgers before, right?
00:22Like, am I wrong in that he was just God awful with the Marlins?
00:25I mean, I know the Marlins stank.
00:28So they didn't exactly help him with run support or, you know, scoring runs ever in
00:32the games he pitched.
00:33But weren't his numbers just atrocious in Miami?
00:36Yes, I would say that.
00:39Yeah.
00:40ERA of about four and a half.
00:41And, you know, obviously the win loss record's hard, but ERA and the homers allowed, things
00:46like that weren't great.
00:47Didn't he have some like, wasn't he like two and nine?
00:52Two and nine would be his record, yes.
00:55I mean, how do I even know that?
00:57You know how I know that?
00:58Because he stinks that bad.
00:59I'm on the Guardians.
01:01There is no way that he can change uniforms and he's going to be dominant all of a sudden.
01:06He hasn't been dominant at all in Miami.
01:08I don't care who he plays for.
01:11He gets lit up every time he pitches.
01:14The thing for me is like, like you say, even if you're on a really bad team, you, if you're
01:20a great pitcher, you know, usually it's a hips per inning, right?
01:24When you've given up 115 hits in 105 innings, you know, that, that means that your, whether
01:29your, your team behind you stinks or not, or scoring runs or not, you're giving up a
01:33lot of hits.
01:34You know, you're still, you're giving up a lot of hits, whether your team stinks either
01:38way.
01:39So that's a number that I always like to look at for a situation.
01:42They're not a good scene for them at all.
