00:00So, which acts are you most looking forward to at Rebellion this year?
00:06The newer acts. We've been going a long time and the bigger bands we've seen quite a few times.
00:12Upcoming bands like Clobber that we really like.
00:15We're going to see Noise, they're an American street punk band, this is their first time in the UK.
00:19They've been going for quite a few years, first time they've ever played in the UK as well.
00:22So we're really excited about that later on.
00:24Yeah, and like Wonk Unit, I really like them.
00:27And my daughter comes, we sort of quite like the newer, younger bands I do and whoever.
00:31So, involving what you've just said, how does this year, you've been coming for a long time,
00:37how has it changed and how do you think it's different this year?
00:41I think it's far more inclusive, it's very inclusive nowadays.
00:47It's not just straightforward old school punk bands, there's a lot of new, young talent that comes through.
00:54Bands like The Miffs and things like that.
00:56But also, as you well know probably, it's a very friendly and all-inclusive atmosphere.
01:02It's just a great festival.
01:04Yeah, and it's just not, it's absolutely sold out, which is, that's not happened.
01:08I think this was about three years ago, I think Covid, it sort of took a bit of a knock.
01:12And it's just nice to see it, it's really busy in there today already.
01:17So yeah, it's good to see.
01:19What acts are you most looking forward to for this year of Rebellion in Blackpool?
01:23Subhumans, I like a lot of all of them bands.
01:27Chelsea, but sad to say they're not playing any Chelsea.
01:30A lot of bands have pulled out, but yeah, come every year.
01:34Been doing for the past like 29 years.
01:37So what do you think makes this year different to previous years, how has it changed?
01:41Because a lot of the old bands have pulled out mate, you know what I mean?
01:44Exploited are not on, which they do every year.
01:46A load of bands have pulled out.
01:49Do you know why that is?
01:51No, no mate, no, I don't know.
01:56So you've been coming here for...
01:5829 years mate, yep.
02:00What else, apart from the bands, is there anything else you're looking forward to at the festival?
02:06All the bands, yeah, I love it.
02:07Every year we come, we love it.
02:09Like I say, there's so many bands that have pulled out, it's kind of disappointing.
02:14We didn't like to see the proper old bands like, but now they're not doing it no more mate.
02:19What acts are you most looking forward to from a million this year?
02:22Well we've got a few.
02:24We've got Sham 69 tonight obviously.
02:28We've got...
02:29The Men They Couldn't Hang.
02:30The Men They Couldn't Hang, it's a band.
02:32The Alarm.
02:33The Alarm.
02:34Just general bands, you know.
02:36We just come for the vibe and just any kind of bands.
02:39How far have you guys travelled?
02:42Well I've come down from Motherwell, just south of Glasgow.
02:47Came down yesterday.
02:49So what do you think makes this year different from previous years?
02:53Have you come to this event previously?
02:55This is our third year.
02:59I don't think it feels any different from last year.
03:03The year before that they had the big stage down at the pier, down on the promenade.
03:07That made it a wee bit different.
03:10And the weather's good this year as well, so that always helps.
03:15It's just a great vibe, you know.
