12:48i think she's won every round up to now for myself the rounds have been closer
12:53but shantelle cameron has demonstrated she can box on the outside she can box on the inside also
12:59she's listening to a corner again now so she's creating a bit of space and you know she's 100%
13:04concentration in that corner listening to a coach you know and literally taking everything in

13:13so now it's going okay it's a tough opponent here you're going to give her great credit
13:18she's a tough cookie she really is she has played her part in the growth of women's boxing in france
13:24of course and particularly the meeting with estelle moseley who's been a superstar as you
13:30and i saw moseley win gold at the olympics in rio in 2016 lost the championship final in france in
13:37the year before so she's made a mark win lose a draw here tonight and i say again the impact
13:45that shantelle cameron has had on women's boxing in britain i think it goes understated so often
13:56and here she's made things easy for herself in this round she's boxed really well on the
14:01outside listening to a coach and not got involved just working with that jab stay on the outside and
14:07picking up picking her opportunities when they open up for it so it's not been helpful ever in
14:15this round it's been a different sort of round but nevertheless it's been another round for me
14:19that she's won and to her credit mccallum is playing a full part in it

16:26but chantelle's having to work here she's having to do a little bit of both occasionally on the
16:30inside and then she goes back at distance and controls the range and that's what her coach
16:35grant smith he wants more he wants to see more of that surely better this than a very soft gentle
16:43introduction tonight from the promotional point of view that might have been a temptation to just
16:50a showcase first time out with so much high quality action on the cards surrounding it but
16:54no not a bit of it and this has been a quality contest that's important both these boxers
17:01some real quality work on the inside

17:10cameron most definitely but nevertheless he's being tested all the way
17:19almost wearing this it's a bit of a postulate time but wearing it as
17:23a badge of honor what fighting spirit she possesses
17:33that range is just that end of that jab where she's not landing
17:40can you feel it can you feel it now when you're landing even when you close you're moving the
17:47quick reset you can go she's not landing anything you're demoralizing her drink this
17:53and every time you land you know she's going to fall back in a little adjustment boom again
17:58little adjust as the ground starts going on and she gets tired the last 30 seconds she
18:03tries to come forward that's when it's behind the V bang and gear the bum don't drop back

18:25hasn't spawned much of a work for me tonight grant smith clearly wants her to remain fully focused
18:32the punch stats from jammer suggesting that the output is almost double the effectiveness is
18:37almost double it's a very impressive showing indeed for chantal cameron right up to the level
18:43of earlier in his in her career
18:48again we salute mccallan for making a fight on it yes i mean the only time that mccallan for me
18:54is really in this contest is when chantal cameron just holds her feet and trades with her that's
18:59just gives her a chance then and she's dogged and determined isn't she mccallan she really
19:07is on that front foot she wants cameron to stand and trade right now and she has success herself
19:14so cameron's learning in this contest listening to the corner getting back to to long range work
19:20and hitting and moving and just picking her opportunities to step in and counter-attack
19:26beating mccallan to the punch

20:17and yet maybe the division below will be for her which is tough tough as they come
20:22it she's a professional and she may say look there's more money to be made doing this as
20:27hard as it is in this division because in a sense this is the glamour division isn't it absolutely
20:37brad paul's the opponent tonight the man so close to dethroning nathan haney as the british
20:42champion in their first meeting he came on strong in the second half of that fight imagine he's
20:48getting the booze in the arena now but imagine the booze on the night if he had done it to haney
20:52and he fancies his chances big time tonight of going one better in our top of the bill and before
21:00that lane against kane for the british and commonwealth phantomweight titles

21:30so impressive tonight so far
21:34she wanted to be impressive didn't she on the queen's brief
21:38team team debut and uh i think she's boxed very well tonight because she's shown us that
21:44she can box at range you can box on the inside there's a fair dig in her work again she's
21:50powerful is cameron not scared to stand and trade like now
21:58but uh yeah she's i think she's showing a little bit of everything here tonight
22:01miss cameron against a strong determined opponent this is not an easy fight at all
22:07the talent has always been in it and has pushed her every round
22:27of course bigger picture the idea tonight is to send out a message from here in barrio

24:31better than you think you've judged her to be prior to the first night of action together
24:39yeah it's a good question obviously you know they've worked together in the gym and she's
24:42done lots of sparring and his guidance or whatever but you never know how a boxer is
24:47going to perform until fight night but i think he'd have been very pleased because she's listened
24:51to what he said and she's adapted and she's changed and like i said she's in the corner
24:56she's her eyes are you know a dead set on him she's listening she's taking it all in
25:00and she goes out there and she does what he what he's asked her to do so i think he'd be very
25:06pleased and yes this has been a good performance up to now because it's not been easy fight
25:10thought this hasn't absolutely she's been pushed all the way here she's won most of the rounds
25:15i think i've given my color just that last round um first minute and a half i think she's got the
25:20better of cameron but overall i think it's been a good performance from chantelle cameron
25:28conversely the question for chantelle might be but why did you choose
25:32brad smith because there must have been a long line of contenders following on from the uh
25:38parting of the ways with jamie moore after such a successful collaboration and we know what a good
25:42trainer jamie moore is yeah he's a great trainer jamie had a good statement and he
25:47recognizes travis out of manchester so yeah she's chosen to move on for whatever reason
25:55but he's certainly grunts with has got a quality boxer on his hands
25:58uh
26:10yes and that's a consequence of course
26:14your head out of harm's way because they have been at much closer quarters for most of this
26:28nathan heaney is waiting to speak to danny jameson backstage
26:34nathan we've seen a bit of a different side to this week seem incredibly focused you really
26:38mean business tonight yeah it's just one i've had rematch before and i've seen what it's like
26:43obviously when you have the first fight and then how the fights have a different perception of you
26:48in terms of what they think you can do so then it sort of adds a little bit of an edge to you
26:51for the second fight when you have the rematch so but yeah there's a large stake for both of us
26:55but yeah i'm looking forward to it tactically does anything change for you this evening

27:52outworked and outboxed at times here but her determination and will her desire is incredible
28:01it's a fair play to it and as i say for if she steps back down a weight she's going to be a
28:05handful for anyone in the weight division below

29:57mccullough certainly isn't as talented as cameron but she what she lacks in talent she makes up in
30:02her sheer desire and her willpower to try and to try and force a victory she kept coming
30:08tough as they come and that had been a success later on in the contest it was a great
30:12great contest and a really enjoyable one to watch
