The Portway Proposals: cyclists and pedestrians may share a pavement

The Portway corridor runs from the M5 flyover, through the Avon Gorge, underneath the Clifton Suspension Bridge and onto Hotwells Road. Bristol City Council is planning to widen the pavement in some sections along the route, to make it safer for people to walk and cycle.
