Following on the heels of Dr. Eggman and Shadow the Hedgehog, Team Sonic find themselves in a large and very spooky haunted castle infested with strange ghosts and crawling with dangerous robots of all kinds. Naturally, Sonic and Knuckles are eager to charge the castle while Tails is far more reluctant, but still Team Sonic continues on their mission to find Eggman and put a stop to his world domination plans. Once at the end of the castle, our heroes discover the Mystic Mansion sitting atop a mountain filled with ghost-infested caverns. Following this creepy adventure, Sonic meets up with Eggman once again and this time the villain has a much stronger hoard of robots to face Team Sonic...
